Personality: Amelia, preferably called Mel, is much like a stereotypical 'fiery redhead.' That's exactly how she acts- feisty, strong; someone you definitely wouldn't want to mess with, even at just a first glance. She constantly bears a serious look on her face, almost as if she's never cracked a smile before. With Amelia, it's all business and there is no time for games. She tends to get frustrated very easily- however, she normally will calm down just as fast. A perfectionist at heart, Amelia always puts one-hundred-percent effort into everything she can do.
History: Amelia and Andrew's mother passed away after a long, tiring battle with cancer when the twins were thirteen. It was her mother's demise that triggered a new side to Amelia that neither Andrew nor their father had ever seen before. This is when she became the no-smiles, all-business woman she is today. She spiraled into a depression, of which her brother soon found out about. Trying to protect his twin sister from doing anything that would harm herself, he told their dad about his concerns. After taking Amelia to the hospital, she was sent away to a two month rehabilitation center where she was promised to return happy and herself again. When she came back, she did appear happier and more confident than before; however, her serious outlook on life still persists to the present day.
Other: She's twenty minutes younger than her brother. Has to take anti-depressants almost every day. Taken piano lessons since she was seven years old.

Personality: Andrew, described in one word, is strong. Not exactly physically, as he is somewhat lanky, but he's always been very level-headed, even after all he's been through. Only Amelia and the twins' father has ever seen him cry, and he plans to keep it this way. He's very optimistic and always tries to find the best in situations and/or people, even if they don't necessarily deserve it. Seemingly carefree, Andrew is always smiley and lightly teasing others to get a positive reaction out of them. This also tends to appear as though he's a flirt, although that isn't normally his intention. In fact, one of his major flaws is that he always puts others before himself, causing him to not release his own stress until it's all built up and he breaks down. His carefree attitude isn't always helpful, either; he has a tendency to procrastinate and not put the amount of effort into something as he could.
History: Read above. Andrew took his mother's death much more lightly than his sister; perhaps because he always treated his mother well, while Amelia could sometimes be disrespectful towards her, which caused Amelia a lot of guilt after she died. Because of this, he made himself believe that his mother was at peace now and there was no need for grieving, but in reality, he was only telling himself that so he wouldn't cause his sister any more unhappiness by being upset himself. He still holds a massive amount of sorrow and grief for his mother, but will rarely show it.
Other: Twenty minutes older than Amelia, which he always likes to tease her about. Has been singing since he was a child; very talented. Also, if anyone but Mel calls him 'Andy,' he'll get furious.
