Dragonsoul trotted shyly over to Rocketrage. "Hey...do you think the fresh-kill pile's a bit too...small?" she asked, tail pointed to it. She thought so, it wouldn't even feed half of the Clan. "Because I wouldn't mind going out on a hunting patrol..." she added, grinning. Or maybe stay back at camp with you... "For the Clan, of course." Hrm, anything for the Clan!

'I don't do patrols, I'm training to be a medicine cat, remember?" said Applepaw.

Spottedkit laughed. "I think he was addressing me Applepaw! He though I was an apprentice! Am I really that big!" she squealed excitedly.

Rocketrage smiled. "Sounds great, let's go, should we bring anyone else?" he asked slyly, making sure he wasn't just imagining all the signs she-cats usually give when they like you.

Spottedkit's tail dropped. "Awwww."

Applepaw shrugged, eying the deputy with suspicion. "I'll come, I need to find Alder Bark anyway." she said, padding towards Mysticheart.

"Yes." she said with a laugh. Dragonsoul chuckled. "Two cats can't hunt for enough food for a whole Clan in just a few minutes." she added with a grin. "I think I'll go find some others." Dragonsoul turned, hit his cheek with her tail, and padded off to find some other cats willing to go on a hunting patrol.

((Wellll. I couldn't think of anything, and Rocketrage is love drunk sooo.))

Rocketrage blocked her. "But look at the fresh kill pile, it's not that small." he tried, trying not to sound desprate. "Just you and me could hunt enough prey to feed everyone including that."

Dragonsoul turned around. "You act so desperate." she told him with a chuckle, tail flicking up and down thoughtfully. "Fine." she said eventually. "We'll hunt together, just the two of us." Dragonsoul said, grinning. She turned to the best hunting grounds, padded forward, gave him a teasing nuzzle, and led the 'patrol' for him.

Rocketrage, hot with embarras.sment, followed Dragonsoul into the woods. After a while, he decided he might as well try and make up and excuse for his 'desprate' behavior. "You know, eh, back at camp, I only wanted to be alone with you because eh, you're the only cat I trust not to scare away all the prey." he said, purring at his good explanation, though it was totally fake.

Dragonsoul chuckled again. "Maybe." she said with a wink, grinning. She looked around. "Hmm... Anything else?" she asked, wondering if there were more prey animals around. Dragonsoul buried the little rabbit and climbed up a tree, eyes locked on the chittering black squirrel in front of her. She arched her back, then yowled. "Mrreeoww!" The squirrel squeaked in terror, then began falling, as it had lost balance. Dragonsoul lept off of the tree, unsheathed her claws, and managed to land on the dazed squirrel.
