Nodding, taken up in Faile's infection yawn, both women stood. "Indeed. I shall take Nicole to bed with me to night. I suppose you know where your usual room is, though I also suppose that you won't be sleeping there." With tired giggles Eri led Nikki through the halls to her room, which, like all other bedrooms, suited its primary inhabitant perfectly. The colors were all golds, ivories, an pal pinks, giving it a light, rosy appearance even under the cover of darkness. Rubbing her eyes, Nicole found her way into the plush bed. "Thanks, Eri. I don't like being alone my first night in a new place." Eri smiled, eyes bright. "I know, love. I know." And with that they slept, letting slumber carry them away into the Dreaming.

  IC: Faile trailed down the hall to check on Molody. When she peeked into the room, she had to stifle a small laugh at the sight of Nikki's massive fiance streached out on Melody's tiny bed, with his sister clinging to him. She moved quietly into the room and took up a quilt from a stand before covering Garrett with it. She gently pressed a kiss to Melody's forehead and left the room, content. She moved to the next door, Llew's, and paused for a moment, with her hand on the door frame. After a mental debate, she gently pushed the door open and stepped inside the darkened room, meaning only to check on her beloved. He looked so peaceful in his repose, with the moonlight reflecting from his pale skin that she moved closer. She smiled down at him lovingly, her hand moving whisper-soft to shift his hair from his face. She pressed a kiss to her fingertips, then pressed her fingertips to Llew's face, allowing her hand to linger before she turned slowly to go.

Even in sleep, Lleweloth could sense Faile near. He smiled to himself at her feather-light touch, reaching out with a warrior's reaction time to take gentle hold of her wrist when she turned to go, eyes suddenly open. "Ah, my lady. It would be cruel to leave me with but a kiss and then leave me. Surely you do not intend on sleeping alone?" Propping himself up on an elbow, he grinned rakishly to his bride-to-be. The action dropped the cover away, revealing the smooth, light-catching skin of his bare torso, though below he wore a pair of shorts, 'boxers', that had been a gift from Nicole for one of the mortal holidays.

"I don't know, and don't want to question it too much. I've always loved you, you know. I suppose I just didn't know how much until I saw you stand up to the Queen. It was something I was not couragous enough to do. You looked like a mother wolf guarding her cubs just then, so full of menace and power and glory that I couldn't look away." The ex
pression he'd been wearing then, full of wide-eyed wonder, returned, and Lleweloth brushed a hand gently against Faile's cheek.

"No, love. The garden is perfect. It will be a lovely backdrop. The aura of peace there is more than I could hope for from any other sight. Now, my darling, what's say we sleep and save these worries for tomorrow? There's no need to concern ourselves about it all just yet. You are tired. We have had a busy day and it doesn't seem that tomorrow will be much different."
