Melody looked up him for a moment then said, "You could sing to me. So long as Garrett sings me a song too..." Garrett stepped up behind the little girl.

   "Mel, you know I can't sing! Why do you always ask me to?" he asked the girl, shaking his head. Mel just smiled up at him.

   "Cause that's what big brothers do," was her simple response. Garrett sighed, knowing he had lost the argument.

   Faile exchanged a gleeful look with her friends. "I suppose the first question should belong to Nikki. Will you be wanting a traditional human wedding, or would you perfer a Goddess-blessed handfasting.

With  a grin Lleweloth led Melody to a wardrobe, handing her a pair of white flannel jammies, letting her dress herself before taking her to the big, cozy bed. He tucked her in gently, kissing her forehead. Taking a deep breath he began to sing, his voice a pleasant alto ringing true and clear. He softened it a little, adding magick to the mix. From the very walls voices sounded, mixing and blending with Lleweloth's, creating a ghostly harmony. It was as if his mother and father, long gone, had joined the singing, along with those who had lived well before his time. The house was singing with him.

When he finished, wiping a small tear from his eye, Lleweloth smiled. "Now it's your brother's turn, I suppose. I shall see you in the morning, my angel, and then you shall truly experience the wonders of your bloodright. Until then, goodnight." Kissing Melody's forehead once more Llew roses, hugging Garrett tightly. "Thank you. You have brought great joy to my home in so many ways. Truly. Thank you." Without waiting for a reply he went to his own rooms next door, all in deep navy, silver, and white, which were the colors of Rowan Hollow's family crest. Over his bed it hung, a white stallion rearing against a field of navy with three silver stars. 'Soon Melody shall wear it.' Such was the last thought in his head before he dropped to sleep.

She thought for a moment, a small frown crossing her features. On one hand, she had the Faerie tradition, which had always peaked her curiosity. And she wanted to follow the tradition of the land she currently inhabited. At the same time, she wanted to make Garrett feel more at home, and to feel like there was still a part of his old life here. And maybe her father could come to the wedding and give her away, like a father was supposed to. "This may sound silly, but... Is there any way we can combine the two?"

  Garrett smiled at the little girl after the other man had left. "So it's just us, kiddo." He gave a sigh. "What do you think about all this? Do you like Llew?" He sank tiredly onto the bed beside his sister. She smiled and wrapped her arms around her brother's waist and leaned against his side.

   "I like everyone," Melody said. "Eri is so sweet. She's kinda like me! And Faile is really smart. Llew, he's like you, I think. I think I'm going to like it here with him and Faile.  And I REALLY like Nikki. She's fun. I'm glad you're making her my sister."Mel gave a huge yawn. "Sing to me, Garrett.I'm really sleepy. Garrett chuckeld and laid Mel back down. "You are my sunshine..." he sang, the song his mother had always sung to the both of them. His voice was low and a little scratchy, but decent, and he sang from his heart. He sang to her untill they both fell asleep on the bed.

   Faile gave Nikki a suprised look.  She should have expected that. "Surely we can! What did you have in mind?"

   "

Nikki shrugged. "Well, I do think that hand-fasting would be wonderful. I want the Goddess to bless my marriage, and all else I do." At this Eirian nodded approvingly. She had taught the girl well to seek Danu's good favor. Nikki smiled at her, giggling. "And yet, I want to have a regular wedding. Maybe with a few faerie fashion twists in the dress, but I was thinking an outdoor wedding with just us and my dad, maybe my mom if he can get her to come.Plus, Garrett I think might like having some connection to normality."

Eri smiled, laughing. "I agree. He shall need the occasional remiinder of his mortal origins. Thus my conclusion that you will be good for him. A constant reminder. So I have the perfect dress in mind, my dear. You shall look stunning beyond measure."

OOC: It's fine. I understand that. Just as an aside, do we have any idea what we are going to do about the queen? 

ooc:// Hurr. I really don't know, only that I don't like either of the queens that much. Also, it's a lot of fun to play the total witch. If we bring them both in, you could be the daughter? She sounds more Unseelie than Seelie...

  IC: Faile laughed with the others. "It will be glorious! We will give them the most beautiful seat possible from which to watch their loss!" She sighed... "How do we inclde Melody? Without a doubt, Llew will want her involved. What can I do..." she trailed off, looking to the othes for help.

  Faile yawned and streached, then said, "It's a good idea. Come now, though. It is time for us to seek our rest. In the morning, we shall all discuss what is to be done."
