Caroline started laughing. She used her magic to pop up a meal of that pigeon he was trying to catch. "There. Just for you. If you want more I can use my magic some more."

Jacklyn was breathing heavily, but quietly. She closed her eyes, registering everything. Then she put her hand on her heart feeling the strange beat. "Something is wrong with the Siren Society, that demon thing killed the elder before it too disappeared. Maybe thats why I'm human." Opening her eyes, she blinked a couple times. She couldn't see anything. Waving a hand infront of herself, she gasped. "Am I blind?" Her eyes where milky white, almost blended with her whites. Now she was really scared. "Siren Society is gone, and it took my vision. Great, just great. Why did I have to live! I was perfectly happy as a dead person, and I wish I could have died a few minutes ago. This is wrong. God kill me!" Apparently she had made her way next to Volarius and collapsed in an unconscious heap next to him. |

Volarune sighed a bit when she fell on him. Again the Jewel of the Golden-Eye Raven glowed. This time with an even more strange power. A power to restore vision and powers that have been lost. This power also forced Volarune to revert back into Volarius. The Feathers of Volarune flew away on the breeze. He began to stir and sat up. Gently pushing Jacklyn off him. "Jacklyn?!" He exclaimed. "Are you alright?" He asked. He had no clue of anything that had happened.

Jacklyn got up, wincing. "Sorry Volarius... Dang it I'm still alive." She brushed a bit of platinum blonde out of her eye. She growled, cupping a hand over her mouth and hugging herself with the other. Sighing, she walked over to a bench and sat down. "I lost the test, and as a punishment I lose my vision and... Gain life. God, someone kill me now. I don't even want to come back..." Gazing up at Volarius, her new milky eyes tried hard to see him. Knowing she couldn't Jacklyn's also new heart skipped a couple beats. "Now that I'm 18 I would be able to control my powers if I still had them." She lowered her head. She wanted to commit suicide. |

(I know it was funny!) Volarius knelt at Jacklyn's side. "No... You've not failed. You've not yet Failed. You passed in a rarest of manner... It is now testing your will to survive! If you pass the will to live, and without your powers for the time being.... You'll again regain them if you pass. Trust me. I am like you. Supposed to lack a pulse. You instinct to protect me... Helped you pass it. But! It has controversy. So if you pass the Will test... You'll again be your old self. So hang in there. I know. I've had a brother that was like you. A demon Shapeshifter Hybrid." He told her. He then smiled at Jacklyn and stroked a strand of hair off of her face. "Trust me..." He then grabbed a chain he had and handed it to her. "Here placed the Jewel of The Golden-Eye Raven on this chain. It will feed off the nature in your soul. And it will eventually tame me. And put the Demon that caused this mess, to rest in peace." He looked at Jasmine and handed her the other Jewel of The Golden-Eye Raven. "You need to hold on to this and have it on a chain like Jacklyn's." He told her. He then saw Two-Tone and tilted his head at him. "You're a ton like me and my Inner Demon put together...." He told it. Then he saw Caroline. Again he tilted his head but this time with a sigh. "If only the Ancestor Demon had three eyes, it would have had Three Jewels of the Golden-Eye Raven." He muttered to her.

Jacklyn looked up at Volarius and smiled. "Thanks, Volarius. But how do you know about the Siren Society? It has been secret for millions of years only to demons like me. Er, not anymore cause it lost the battle to you guys. Now its gone. I still haven't gotten over how you guys killed my family. So now I give you my amulet of protection, to keep you safe. I don't want you to end up like me." She dug into her pocket and pulled out a strange necklace. It was a dolphin curled around a glowing blue gem, holding it into her palm so it shined in the sun. "Voice of the Ocean." Jacklyn began glowing even less, but she smiled through the pain. She seemed to be reminded of something, and opened a locket that was on her neck. She seemed lost when she looked in the eyes of her father and brother. Her smile then seemed to fade. |

Volarius smiled and handed the necklace back to Jacklyn. "I've got my own. My mother Seariyana, was a Siren too. That's how I know so much. And she lost her's for a while. Her Siren Powers and sight. But in her desperation to save me.... She regained all her powers. And became even more powerful! So don't think about giving up!" he snarled at her. He then handed her his Mother Amulet. It was the shape of a rare specie of Blue Sea Dragon. It was glowing vibrantly. And even had a wisp of water surrounding it. "This is my Mother's. She was a Sea Dragon type of Siren. Considered a true rarity like you!" He told Jacklyn. He smiled and gave it to her. "Your Siren would've truly been lost forever if you'd killed it. Err killed me as I was possessed." He told her. Then he wrapped Jacklyn in a cloak. "Why don't we return to your Alley?" He asked.

Jacklyn nodded. "I bet the tourists are gone by now, plus I need to find another way to wash away the rest of your blood." Taking Caroline's hand, she walked them back to the alley. "Home sweet home..." She held the amulet close to her heart, closing her eyes and sighed. |

"Hmm....?" Volarius suddenly felt a surge of power. "Um? My Mother's Amulet I gave you! It's gaining power from the Jewel of the Golden-Eye Raven!" He told Jacklyn. He sighed and closed his eyes. "Yes... My Mother's Spirit.... I feel her..." He added. He opened his eyes and walked up closer to Jacklyn. "It might have the power to wash it all of the bed. Try it!" He added. He lept over the bed and climbed the stairs in the alley with great ease. Apparently his hunting instinct was now active. He had found a large bird and caught it. He jumped down from the high area and landed on his feet without a problem. He laid the bird down on the table. Then he sighed and focused. "Volarune. I'll need you to take over. But please have the power to hunt in the forest, two countries away from here. It's the only way we won't starve to death." He said to the Inner Demon. Volarune's voice echoed from Volarius's body. "Are you kidding?! I've never felt stronger. But you do realize you'll have to sleep for quite a while!" It said to Volarius. Volarius nodded and closed his eyes. Then Volarune's feathers grown out of Volarius's body and the flecks appeared on his face. Again they were switched. Human Conscious and the Demon Conscious. "Graagghaaah!" He scrawled with a long stretch. "I'll be back before long. I'm an expert at lonbg distance flights and with speed!" He said to Jacklyn. "I'll be back with TONS of Exotic foods and everything! Least I can do for all your help!" He then grinned in a creepy manner, spread his wings, and transformed into his Full Demon Form. He screeched with a powerful purpose and flew off. He would be back and much sooner than expected. As soon as he reached high up in the air, he seemed to disappear rather quickly. At such speed it was surely unexpected.

Jacklyn collapsed on a bean bag chair. "Ugh. For a murderer, he does have skill. Even when he is a demon, I gotta admit." She sighed, tired for being awake for a whole week. "Gah, I guess I have a little time to sleep. It won't hurt, will it?" And there, she passed out sleeping. She imagined herself underwater, watching something strange. She saw the Siren Society, burning in bright blue flames, screams of men, women, and children. She snapped her eyes open, and wiped a bit of blood that trickled down her forehead. "How did this happen?" |

Caroline continued to stare at Jacky. "You know Jacky... You guys don't know my other hidden talent..." She said this with a smile on her face. She had a hidden talent that she rarely showed to anyone. She then heard footsteps coming down the alley. She turned her head and saw that they had a gun. She did 3 back-hand-springs, then a backflip. She was now in front of the people with the gun. Looking at them with an angry look, like 'get out of here or else'... Of corse they weren't that scared of someone who was like almost like a head smaller than them, and who was only 12 years old...

Caroline stomped her foot and crossed her arms... She wanted to be the heroic one for once... She walked in-front of Jacky and kicked one of the dudes in the spot... She smiled with her accomplishment. Although she didn't expect one of the dudes to pull out his gun and point it at her.. (Caroline)... Caroline stood behind Jacky. "You guys heard her... Leave!" The dude loaded his gun.

Jacklyn glared at her. "Caroline! Why?! Okay buddy, thats it. Your asking for it. I don't care how long it takes to mop up your blood." She lifted the gun and shot five times per gunner until she was sure they were all dead. She lowered her gun and smirked. "Thats what'cha get for messing with me and the small one." She turned around and walked away, giving Caroline a little noogie on the way. Jacklyn leaned against the wall, crossing her arms and legs. Laughing at Caroline a little, she shut her eyes. "When your older, kid." She sang a joyous song, changing the lyrics for her country Ukraine instead of America. "Sing a song of peace through the world... 'Till every nations ringing! Sing a song of peace through the world... Full of hopeful singing!" She shifted her song to a little more solemn one. "L'viv, oh L'viv... Shall we tell you how we feel? Kyiv, Rivne, Sumy, Poltava. Let your brood grow." She opened her eyes, and winked towards Caroline. |

Caroline did a few back-hand-springs over to Jacky. She then glared at her. "I am not that little!" Caroline kicked Jacky in the leg, then gave her a little smirk. She skipped off over to the little chair that Jacky was sitting in earlier and sat down. She smiled the whole time.

She pulled a cell phone out of her pocket and held it by a chain. She waved it around and let go of the chain. She caught the cell phone before it reached Caroline's hand. "Only if your good." |
