Caroline's smile disappeared off her face... She looked down at the ground.. "But... Can I just have a chance? I am only 12... Please?" She then looked up at Unknown.

Unknown hissed. "Don't bribe me." He grabbed her tightly by the arm and threw her into the rift, slamming the door and shattering it with his dagger. "See you in the afterlife." |

Quickly as she could, Caroline put a spell on herself before she was completely in the rift. She then reappeared outside the door. She looked at Unknown. "Please.. I won't be a bad girl, I will do anything to stay out of the rift and alive. Please!!!" Caroline was on her knees begging Unknown.

Unkown pulled up his hand unleashing a swirling black hole pushing Caroline in. He laughed at her with about a thousand voices. "Your magic does not work in the rift, stupid girl." He closed the door again and hacked it to peices. |

Since the spell was on her, again before she went down all the way into the rift she appeared outside a few paces from Unknown. "Unknown... Please sir. I will do ANYTHING to not go in there. ANYTHING! Please I am a child with no mother or father and no family. I haven't had a good life, and I want to change it where I will stay in the real world and stay alive. Please Unknown! You have to understand! Please!"

"Im standing right behind you... But I will... But please? May I please live? And not go in the rift?" Caroline sat down on the ground and became quiet.. Like the good girl she said she would be.

Volarune was found only 5 miles from where he was last seen. He was covered in blood from where he crashed. He seemed so lifeless. So fragile and breakable. He looked up at Jacklyn as she was flying overhead. The look in his eyes seemed so lifeless. So weak and hopeless. "Jacklyn....? You never answered me.... Why...? I trusted you... as a big sister... Though I may be older in human years... My true age is 15..... Not at all 25... My kind just age slowly and takes hundreds of years in human before we are grown...." He whimpered. His voice was light, so very weak. Almost just a whisper of air escaping his lips. He looked at her with pained eyes. He then looked away and closed his eyes. He was giving up. The Will to Live had all but faded now. Suddenly the Amulet of his Mother's he'd given to Jacklyn began to glow. "Hush my son...." A voice whispered from it. "She too was deceived. It wasn't Tyler drifted from the Mirror. But another entity. Her brother is still trapped in the Voidal Mirror. Only your powers can stop him, with her help. But you must open the Darkgrim Voids.... That way, all three of you can get out of the rift." The voice added.
Volarune looked up and opened his eyes, "Mother? Is that your spirit speaking to me from your Amulet...?" The Amulet's voice said "Yes, Don't give up! Love Never Dies.." Then it went silent. Volarune snarled in pain as he trying to get up. "I've no real reason to do anything...." he murmured. He looked at Jacklyn and shook his head. But I can open the Voids. We can ALL get out! Not just one or two. But I need some of your power to help me... But I doubt you'll do that...." He snarled in his agonizing pain.

Unknown covered his face with his hand. "Your trouble." He groaned and made a huge ice dome around Caroline and cleaned up the shards of the rift. Jacklyn landed close by to Volarune. "I do not trust you." She growled. Even as a white bird, she seemed to darken a bit. "Unknown already broke the door." She brought her wing over her face to symbolise sadness and anger. "You have given up. My powers are gone yet again. I am stuck like this until they are back, which will take about a hundred years. My skin is still alive but I feel dead inside..." She looked away, engulfed in blue smoke. "Because you have given up. Even as you are only 15, you are still older. As a siren, I have no age. I could be 90 at most." She felt as if she could laugh, but she was too distraught to beam. The smoke got thicker until she couldn't be seen, and when it lifted she was kneeling in human form. She was still draped in black, but she didn't care. She looked up at him, one eye covered by hair. "You gave up." She whispered.

Caroline heated up the ice dome and it melted.. She walked up to Unknown... "Please give me a chance. I will do anything to learn in the footsteps of someone who is amazing at what they do. I respect you Unknown. I will do good, be good, and do what you ask. All I am asking is for a chance."

"Because you gave up on me.... By betraying me... Like this... You gave up first..." He scrawled with agony. He then looked away and sighed. "Perhaps it was best I was never born.... So much pain and suffering... All of it I caused... Just trying to live like I deserved life..." His voice was of deep suffering and painful. Despite that fact he's given up, a part of him sounded like he didn't want to. Like he was still wanting to fight. Fight to live. But not for him. "I'll not give up entirely... Not on you... Just you don't give up on me... I know it sounds impossible. But your family CAN be brought back to life.... But that is if you've seen a Blackness surrounding me that day I killed them!" He snarled with a caw as he kept trying to stand. He looked at her with an unknown type of inner flame. "My Mother..... Seariyana... She'll give you strength, as she's giving me power. You don't need to trust me.... But I DO need to trust you. For some reason, though you've hurt me... More than I could have ever hurt you... I still believe in you.. I STILL Trust you. Call me a glutton for punishment!" He then looked back towards her. His eyes shined a white silver instead of the Soulless gaze that is blank and always staring and gazing. He then scrawled with great power. "I'll help you get Tyler back... But first... Answer my question. When a Demon gives it's oath of servitude it must obey and can't ever tell a lie! You've got the means to have me serve you.... The Nature, the Kind Heart, and something that EVEN the courageous Raienzio lacks! Courage of the Heart. That's why you can lose your powers yet when you need them... You can regain them!" He approached her, slowly, and yet calmly. Not at all in a threatening way. Almost gingerly and scared himself. But a sense of a powerful need to survive and try to grasp a way out. It was giving him strength. "I've once claimed you a sister.... If you just don't give up on yourself nor give up on me... We can get out... But please..... Help me... So in turn I can help you!" he lowered his head to her head's level. If he wanted to, he could bite her's off in a single gulp. But instead he used his head like a cat's and rub his neck around her, with a gentle nudge. He purred in a birdish way. "Please..."

Unknown chuckled. "Yeah right." He put his hand on Caroline's head and forced her to turn around. As soon as she faced the other direction, he pushed her forward. Jacklyn looked away, because she felt she was about to squeeze out a tear. "Volarune, I never gave up on you..." She steeped over to Volarune giving him a meaningful look, and hugged him. "And I never wanted to bring my family back to life, I tried to bring Tyler back only because I needed his help." As she let go of him, she was glowing about five colors; Red, pink, blue, purple, and black. As Volarune came forward, she staggered back. "I'm ending. Volarune, remember me." A large black rift in the ground swallowed her, and she fell unconscious. As she fell into the red abyss, burning lava rose up to engulf her. The rift closed, leaving Volarune alone, all by himself. |

After he did this, she stopped herself before she fell... "Owe!" She put her hand on the spot where he had kicked her forward... She turned herself around again and looked at Unknown. "Im not kidding. Please Unknown!!!"

"No! I have no where else to go!" Caroline then got a worried look on her face cause she was shouting at Unknown. "Umm... Sorry for shouting at you..." She sat down on the grass and put her hand over her mouth.

"Owe! Your hurting me!!" She stood up... Mostly because she was forced to... She took her hand off her mouth. "Please may I just have one chance to work at the feet of an amazing magic man! Please Unknown!!! I have powers.. And I WILL use them if you tell me too on whatever you tell me to do! I can help YOU rule the world!!! Please!!!"

"I can help you rule the world though?" She then decided that is where she should stop talking. With her arm that wasn't being held onto very tightly, she put her hand over her mouth to show that she would shut up.
