Volarune shielded Jacklyn from the fireball. "Don't do that again! Jacklyn is like a sister to me... And she's been good to you Caroline. Trust me... Most Sirens are like me.... Monsters.... True Destroyers!" He screeched. He then grabbed Caroline and held her down with his sharp clawed hand on his wings. "I could kill you! But you was at least somewhat nice to me... So please... STOP being a BRAT!" he then let Caroline go and rubbed her with his neck. Almost like a huge gentle bear hug. "You're not the only one who lost family." He told her. Then he stood up high and wrapped Caroline with his tail. "Now do you want to see what real freedom is?" He asked her with a purr. Raienzio sighed. "Caroline... Volarune is right. Most of us are quite heartless. I'd rather him eat you but I'm not at all gentle toward misbehaving kids.." He screeched with a whistle. He stood up and walked a bit away. But then he turned around and sat down.

"Let me go!" She was trying to get out of the big tail feathers. "I don't want to fly anywhere! I want to stay on the ground!!" She looked over at Raienzio... "What do you mean?" She stopped trying to wiggle free, and had a confused look on her face as she stared at him... Then she looked at Volarune... "Let me go!!!"

"I won't unless you try to listen to me.... I'm not like most Sirens because I'm a different type of Demon as them. A more heartless sort. But I've learned love... Though I've never really had it before for long...." He said to Caroline. "Please... Allow me to show you freedom. Please fly on my back just this once.... Then I'll let you back down on the ground. Perhaps we can chat... I promise I won't hurt you nor fly too fast and furious." He added. Then he placed Caroline on his back. The feathers were incredibly soft and very warm. He then spread his wings and flew off into the sky. Caroline he made sure was on his back. "Hang tight!" He told her. Then he flew a tiny bit higher. His flight was slow. Gentle in the sky and peaceful. He soared over the park. He shown her what he saw. A land in the sky of great beauty. Many birds were flying in the sky with them. One of them was a rare beauty to behold. "You see that bird. Thousands of people have wished to see this creature. All because of it's song. It is a rare breed of Phoenix. It's song is said to bring peace and harmony to their Souls. And it is true... Shh. Listen!" He told Caroline. They Phoenix made it's song. It sounded like a bunch of crickets chirping over a rippling brook, with the sounds of a peaceful breeze laying over the willow trees. "See.... It is a sound that is said to be of utter peace." Volarune added.

Caroline had her eyes shut the entire time... She was hanging on tightly to the big beast. "Okay I have had enough! I want back down! NOW!!!" She screamed this at the Volarune... She knew he was gentle and all, but she was TERRIFIED of heights.

"Not yet.... You won't see the beauty of true freedom... Unless you face your fears..." Volarune snarled. "Your fears of gaining a new family through being nice to others for one! And your fear of animals for another. Also.... your fear of heights... So calm down and stop acting like a terrified little girl. You aren't helpless. Not like I was when I was a kid... I was born with this Evil Appearance and couldn't move very well, nor could I fly. I had to create Volarius to survive..... If I hadn't... I wouldn't have had friendship or any of Life's small joys. Yes Joys of Life so small... Yet they mean so MUCH!" The large Demon Added. He then lowered the altitude a bit. He flew a bit faster yet was even more steady. He soared on and on. "Please look at the sunset!" He chirped with a Raven like caw.

"I'm no beast like you think I am! So look! I'll let you down on the ground the moment you get a better look at the sky. Just one thing.... Please? I promise to cook whatever food you want as the Human Conscious Volarius! And you'll not have to do anything else I ask of you, unless you want to. But just see the sunset as I see it..." He pleaded with her. He then raised altitude and hovered a tad bit. What he wanted Caroline to see would be worth it if she wasn't stubborn. If she would just see the numerous clouds turning many shades of blue, purple, gold, and red. Also the rainbow showing itself over the sun. All this as the sun set. "Please... I promise... to let you on the ground as gently as possible. Okay. Just see the many rainbows of colors the clouds become and the rainbow over the sun. Many would die to see this!" He added with a whisper. He then lowered his head to let her see what he meant.

Satisfied Volarune scrawled a bit. "Yes... I'm happy. That's all I wanted you to see. THe Beuaty you will continue to miss as long as you keep being afraid. You shouldn't be afraid of heights but be afraid of what happens if you fall from them. Heights can't hurt you. Falling from them can!" He screeched happily. Then he made a fast dive and slowed down. Then he landed in front of Jacklyn. He hovered for a few seconds from the ground and landed gently without a single hitch. "There we go.... Now you can get off. I'm truly sorry I scared you by making you face your fear. But consider all life like what you seen. You know? Keep letting your fear rule you and you will continue to miss out on more beautiful things!" He then purred and hugged her with his wings. Then again he let her down and go. Raienzio stayed in the distance. He had a bit of a scowl on his face. "Volarune... Why are you so gentle when you are so dangerous?" he asked his friend. Volarune jerked his head and snarled out, "Because that'd make me very weak... You aren't strong unless you break your chains that make you the way you seem to be the way you are supposed to be." He then walked towards Raienzio and snarled again. He then knocked the male Siren into the pool of water nearby.

"Volatine!! That was rude!!" she hit the big giant beast thing with a brick that appeared out of nowhere. She then used her magic and helped the siren dude out of the pool and dried him off.

Volarune seemed unfazed at all by the brick. Raienzio snarled and slashed at Caroline with his razor sharp fins on his elbows. "Back OFF! It wasn't rude! I needed to get wet.... I dry out easily and need to keep from getting dry." He yelled. Volarune got in the middle of the two right then. "Raienzio... Calm down. She's just a misbehaving child. 12 years old is still considered an innocent age! Not entirely knowing yet how wrong their mistakes can get... Now jump back into that pool..." Volarune snarled at him. Raienzio nodded and ran back into the water. He dived right into it gracefully. And swam in circles. Volarune then turned to face Caroline. "His fins on those elbows are razor sharp. They can even cut me in two unless I harden my feathers.... Please. Try to behave around him... He was getting dehydrated and quite cranky due to it..." He explained. "I'd never push a friend into a pool of water unless they needed it..." He squealed with a dragon's hiss. "Now then... Are you being more crabby than usual because you're hungry?" he asked with a curious grin on his face.

Volarune shook his head. "You'll learn what that is one day... Trust me... You and I.. Were not so different... When I was your age.. I was just like you.." He then wrapped his warm body around her like a long feathered serpent. "Now let me get you warm. Also please don't get mad at me. It get cold here at night. My Feather's will keep you warm." He sighed. He laid down next to her and yawned. He then closed his eyes and sighed. "I'm crabby too when sleepy. I find it best to sleep when so.." He scrawled. He then made a small purring sound and was silent and still.

She was going to tell him that she wasn't sleepy at all, but fell right to sleep under his wing. She slept hard... She was VERY tired. (time skip?)

(Maybe you do it.) Raienzio stood up out of the water and saw that Volarune had Caroline under his wings. He shook his head and sighed. He walked back under the water and fell asleep beneath the waters. Volarune smirked in his sleep and wrapped his friend more with his huge wings. "Whenever you need me... I'll be there..." He sighed to Caroline. He then slept and let her snuggled beneath his wings.

She sighed a silent sigh, hoping that no one heard her. She kept looking at Volarune's beautiful black feathers. They looked very pretty in the morning sunlight.

(LMAO Troublesome Lag has caused the terrible Double post!) Volarune heard her sigh and yawned. He slowly stretched his long and very large, fluffy, poofy body. He then kept his wings wrapped around Caroline. "I hope you stayed warm.... last night!" He cawed with glee. He noticed Raienzio was still slumbering in the water. He slowly got up and sniffed the air. "If you're hungry... I'll hunt us down some food....!" He then stretched himself some more. He then fluffed out his many feathers that were shining red in the sunlight. He yawned again and waited for Caroline to let him know something.
