Jasmine shapeshifted into a Lacewing Dragon. Lacewing Dragons are pretty big dragons, but only half the size of most large dragons. They have gigantic dragonfly-like wings and six, spindly insect-like legs. Their wings make them the best flyers among dragons...at least, Jasmine thought so. She gave a slight growl as she scented blood on the breeze. Someone or something was injured. And there was another scent, to...Two-tone. With a growl, Jasmine took off. "I'll be right back!" she called down.

"Um... Magic food doesn't feel those like me and Raienzio up much.... We need food that's actually real.. Freshly caught. I'll shift back into the human form when I'm done hunting. It won't take me long." he told Caroline. He spread his wings and flew up a bit. He hovered and with a flick of his tail flew off. Raienzio shifted in his sleep beneath the water. He was unaware of anything and everything. He still slumbered on. Then he shifted again in his sleep. Volarune while flying high saw numerous food. He was soaring above mountains and what he saw was mountain goats. He swooped down and caught ten in his clawed feet. The died from his claws puncturing them. He then flew over the sea. He had shifted into his human form and bagged the rams and shifted back. He saw many sharks and fish. He flew to the shore and dropped the rams. Then he dove right into the water. The only way he could swim was as his demon form. The body was streamlined and his feathers trapped air. His wings he could use as long powerful rudders. And his tail as a steer. He saw a huge shark. The shark was much bigger than he was. But it wasn't stronger. Volarune was faster and slashed the shark with his sharpened wings and blood filled the water. More sharks came. "Great! More tasty Shark meat." Volarune thought. He diced them all up in the water by ramming into them. When it was all said and done; he scooped the prey into a bag. The bag as he surfaced drained itself of the water. He collected the rams and flew off some more. After about 4 hours of hunting, he made his way back. In total the journey to hunt and return with the food took only 5 hours. He dropped the bags of fresh kills near Raienzio. When the bags fell Raienzio leaped up about 10 feet in the air. He screeched out, "Volarune! You don't need to be so noisy..." Raienzio saw the bags of food. "Uh... with food?" Raienzio stared at the bags bug-eyed. Volarune shifted into his half demon form and yawned. "I better let Volarius wake up... And Raienzio... don't be grumpy next time I come back from hunting or no sushi for you!" He snarled. Then he shifted again. But this time into Volarius. Volarius opened his eyes and stretched. He then lit a fire and began to cook the food. He made many kinds of recipies with the Sharks and everything he'd found. Then he plucked out numerous fruit from his hunt as well. And many coconuts as well. Finally he prepared them as well. At last he was able to hand out nice, hot, fresh food.

Caroline was amazed at how much he had caught. She laughed at Raienzio when Volarune dropped the bag right next to him. Caroline then skipped over to Volarius. "It's nice seeing at least a somewhat normal human.... And yor bird friend? Well he was just grumpy... But don't tell him I said that cause he was also nice... He let me sleep under his warm wing.." Ceroline looked up at Volarius who seemed taller than last time. "Dang... You seemed to have grown a little bit.... I thought you were taller than me last time I saw you, but now your even taller...."

Volarius smiled and shook his head. "You've just never seen me standing up straight." He told her. Then he narrowed his eyes. "Volarune isn't human. And I'm only his Vessel. You know. Like a host that he created from his powers to hold him. But he's entirely aware of everything you know? He's right there in my shadow.." He added to her. He then pointed to his shadow that took the form of Volarune's Full Demon form. It even made the screech as Volarune. It seemed angry. "Hey... I can't help that... I'm not really even supposed to exist! So bite me!" Volarius stood on edge and sighed out, "Volarune.... Don't give her any ideas! And please... go to sleep.... You're cranky due to you being up too long!" He shook his head again. "Sorry Caroline.... He's sleepy." He chuckled rather embarrassed. He then sat down and handed her some food. "Here. I hope I've cooked this right to where it'll taste good." he said to her. Raienzio stared at them and shoved a mouthful of raw squid in his mouth and chewed it. He seemed to enjoy raw fish, steamed fish, and any kind of fish food. He then moved towards several fruits. He loved the fried apples and bananas as well.

Caroline took a bite. "Wow! This is amazing!" She began eating more as she was hungry after having to wait 5 hours for something to eat when she could have just popped a magical breakfast up right in front of her. She looked up at Volarius with a smile on her face

Volarius sighed and rubbed the back of his head. "That's a relief. Most people would find me silly. Since I'm a male that can cook." He sighed and sat down. He began to eat and picked up some steamed shark. He chewed it up really well. But coughed a bit when he tried to swallow the food down. He then recovered and sighed. He then took another bite of food and finished his first plate. Raienzio finished his third plate and grabbed more food. He also seemed hungry. But he saw Volarius seemed depressed. "What's wrong?" He asked Volarius. He tilted his head to the side. When he did this the long fin behind his head moving along with his long silver braid. Volarius just looked at Raienzio. He had somewhat an empty look on his face.

Caroline finished her first plate. "Well now I am full. Thank you Volarius for a good meal. She picked up her plate, and walked over to the grass. She then set it down, and took a few steps back. She shot some water at it, then soap, then she rubbed the soap in a little bit, then shot more water at it. "There all clean.. Any others?" She then picked up the plate and dried it off. She walked over and sat on the ground by where Volarius' stool thing was. She looked up at his face. "Volarius? Are you okay? You seem upset about something... I know its not my business, but what are you upset about..?" She then looked back at the ground...

Jasmine, still in the form of a Lacewing Dragon, gave a colossal roar of dismay: she had seen Two-Tone in the grip of another dragon...bright red in colour, and at least triple her own size. Two-Tone was in the grip of the creature's jaws and bleeding. Jasmine forgot all about being hungry. She couldn't just stand there and watch her precious friend be killed. "GUYS, IF I DON'T COME BACK, THEN I'VE BEEN EATEN BY A GIGANTIC RED DRAGON THINGY!" she called down. Then, with a final shriek, she flew forward at terrific speed.

<p align="justify">Jacklyn watched the excitement, a little taken back. She huffed, and became a Nerric, a large white bird almost like a cross between a hawk, eagle, and crane, the three most beautiful birds combined into one even more so. Stretching her huge wings, she decided to lift up into her nest above for alone time. While flying, she made an odd and foreign bird call, a little like this; <em>Koreef! Koreefu! Koreef! </em>A distinct sound that showed apparent disgust and anger. She curled up in her nest almost like a swan. She curled her long neck over and layed her head over her shoulder in a comfortable position, making a purring sound.</p>

Volarius looked at Caroline and sighed. "Memories I'm trying to forget flooding my mind. The memories of killing as Volarune." He then looked at Jacklyn and rushed some food over to her. "You hungry Jacklyn?" He asked her. Then he heard Jasmine was in trouble. <div>"RAIENZIO! Shoot your sharp fins at the dragon attacking Two-Tone and Jasmine!" he yelled at him. Raienzio stopped eating and eyed out their location. Then he spread his fins and crossed his arms outward. He focused and his body began to glow. An electrical surge was heard shocking the ground. He then threw his arms out, firing the fins in a circular pattern out into the sky.</div><div>The fins made a sharp sparking sound. Then sparks shot out of it. The sharp fins hit the Giant Dragon and cut at it's flesh. They then pushed out of the other side of the Dragon. They were heard coming back towards the Dragon hurting Two-Tone. It sliced through again in a boomerang manner. In a matter of seconds they returned to Raienzio's elbows. He then shot the Fins back at the dragon again. </div>

Volarius stroked Jacklyn's feathers and handed her some food. "Here!" he told her. He then laid down the food on the ground next to her beak. He smiled sweetly at her and sighed. "You're a sister to me... I hope you know that!" He added to her. Then he sat down next to her. He saw Raienzio fire his sharp fins back at the dragon attacking Two-Tone. <div>Raienzio adjusted his position as his target moved. He did a back flip and as the fins went back into place of his elbows. Then the Male Siren burst the fin back at it. He missed the hit going outward but, when he moved, the fins moved along with him to go back to place. They hit there mark on the way back.</div>

Caroline sat there watching him shoot the fin things at the big red dragon.. "wow..." Is all she would manage to say... She then noticed that Volarius was gone and she looked around till she found him by Jacky... She stood up and walked over to them and sat on the ground by them. "Eat up Jacky. Its good."

<p align="justify">Jacklyn arose, clearly not amused. Flapping her wings a couple of times, she lifted out of her nest. She landed on a pipe, her claws wrapping round. A purring sound escaped her beak, and she flew up towards the sun. As she disappeared, she shut her eyes. Opening her eyes, she was somewhere in Florida. She lay in a bed, human form, but not one she was familiar with. She ran the tests she did on Emmy, but turned up plain human. Except she was mute, no ability to speak. <em>Great! I can't talk! This is the best rebirth ever! </em>She thought sarcasticly.</p>

<p align="justify">Jacklyn stood up, and looked in a book. <em>Felicitey Rose</em>. She smiled, and decided to catch a cab back to Duvall. (Yes, its a real place, cause I live there!) It was a long cab ride to Washington, but she didn't really care. It was hard to tell the cab where to go, because she couldn't speak. Walking down the sidewalk, she pretended to look normal and find her old alley. She had long black hair, wearing a shirt and head band in metallic and neon colors. Her jeans were dark with processed rips. Her zebra-stripe earrings were bright in rainbow colors. She now finally felt free.</p>

Volarius shook his head and shrugged at Caroline. "I'm afraid I'm losing her..." He sighed to Caroline speaking about Jacklyn. He then looked at her. Raienzio was still trying to help Jasmine against the dragon. He was about to dry out and finally dove into the water. Volarius sighed and walked towards Caroline. He then sat down next to her. "Why is it I lose those I love as family?" He asked her.

He sighed and grew his Demon's wings out and covered her up with them. "I get close to people and then they abandon me..." He answered Caroline. He looked at her and shook his head. He was still depressed.
