"You don't have to cover me up.. I'm not going back to sleep..." She looked up at him... "I'm not going to abandon you.. I mean where else on earth would I go? I am a 12 year old with no family.. How sad is that?" She didn't want to bring up the fact that her birthday was next week, cause she didn't want to go through ANOTHER birthday without a family... Why did the month of December have to come this early? The worst month to have a birthday, and to have Christmas... Especially with NO family to celebrate them with!

Volarius smiled at her. "I know how you feel. I'm an orphan like you. I may be 25 but in numerous ways, I'm only 15.... In official behavior and aging terms." Then he nodded. "My Birthday was the day I killed Jacklyn's family... But I haven't really celebrated my birth. No reason too. Nobody seems to care about me. Not like the care about you secretly." He sighed. Then he pet Caroline's hair. "You have the world all over you can go to. If only you'd not be afraid of heights. You can also find a new family. Just work on your skill around other people." He added to her. Then he removed his wings and stretched them. He then hid them in his back.

She pushed his hand away from her hair. "DON'T touch my hair! Thats mine. And I don't want a new family..... I quite like not having a little brother or sister constantly nagging you to play with them..." She sat up and made a brush appear... She combed out her hair, and poofed the brush and pillow away. She sat cross-legged and looked down at the ground...

Volarius frowned and then stood up. He then took a step away from Caroline. "You've no understanding at all do you?! I've had to live my ENTIRE life alone! I was an only child. It's not as easy as you think... Being hated all your life for what you are..." he snarled at her. Then he ran away. Tears fell from his cheek as he rushed away. A dark energy escaped from his body. He was so stressed. He didn't realized the Demon inside was losing control.

Caroline stood up and ran after him. "Volarius.. Please I didn't mean it like that! I'm sorry!" She noticed the demon coming loose... "Umm... Dude! Control!" She took a few steps back... She for sure didn't want him to get angry... She noticed that the Siren dude was staring at her with an evil smile on his face...

"You need to learn... You've got it great. You've had a family... He never had that. You have people who care about you... He never really had that either. All because of his Demon. Pain and stress causes him to lose control. To keep him alive Volarune takes over and is forced to hurt others...." Raienzio snarled at her. Then he removed his evil grin. "But that also is what is slowly killing him..." He sighed and shook his head. "Please do as he asks. It isn't much to learn to cooperate with others. Or try to understand their feelings. Also learn to like animals. One day it'll be an animal that MIGHT just save you..." He then sank under the water and swam to the other end of the watery area. Obviously wanting to stay hidden.<div>Volarius stopped and began to shake. He fell to his knees and trembled. His shadow began to move around. It took the form of Volarune's full demon form and it's eye glowed a blood red. The shadow disappeared but could still be felt forcing it's way out of Volarius. Volarius yelled out in terrible pain. "WHY?!" Was his yell. His body began to grow Volarune's feathers and the shirt he wore ripped off of his body. Huge black wings escaped his back. His hair turned darker and feather that looked like porcupine&nbsp;quills&nbsp;shot out.&nbsp;"All I want is to be understood... Have a family... A brother or a sister...! Yet condemned to stay all alone!" He screamed out. His feathers then changed color. They were black but now becoming Red as Blood. He screeched out a horrific dragon's roared and shifted into the Full Demon form. He stood up and snapped at the air with his sharp jaws. He turned to face Caroline. His eyes shown his pained rage. He lunged at her. But stopped inches from her body. He flapped his wings causing a powerful breeze. Then he flew up into the skies.</div>

Caroline stood there with wide eyes as he was changing into his demon form... She heated up the water to make Raienzio become a little warmer than he would have liked... WHen Volarune lunged at her, she screamed with fright and covered her face. She felt the very strong breeze, and put a spell on herself to not fall over... (lol) When the breeze stopped, she looked around... She then looked up to find him in the sky... "huh.. His wings are blood red? That is new..." She turned to face the water... She looked to see if he was screaming from the water that was getting hotter and hotter...

Volarune screeched as he flew higher and higher.&nbsp;<div>Raienzio had already jumped out of the water before it gotten too hot. He was right behind Caroline. His body posture was like he was going to grab her and move her out of the way of Volarune's frenzy. He let loose a huffed puff of air. "I was thinking he'd bite you and gulp you down so I was hear trying to... AGH!" He whistled and screeched the AGH! He seemed frustrated that he actually cared enough to save her. He then chilled the water down and lept back into it.</div>

Caroline turned around. "You wouldn't have to save me. Its okay... I can just throw a fireball at him." She then threw a fireball at the water making it hot again. "Just like that one!" She threw another one and made the water even hotter. She started laughing as she watched him swim around trying not to burn himself. She then looked up at the sky but couldn't see Volarune... She shrugged her shoulders and continued laughing at the crazy looking Siren.

Raienzio shot out of the water and knocked her down. "Stop! That's the very behavior that would make us try to kill you! It doesn't matter how old you are.... My kind of Siren are the most common sort of killers.... Now Fireballs wouldn't work! Dragons are Fireproof. And my kind of Siren live in volcanic springs so we like the heat in our water... Thank you..." he snarled. He held his sharp fin to her throat. "Give me one excuse to move this fin to slice open your throat..." His eyes shown a&nbsp;monstrous&nbsp;anger. Almost like Volarune's shadows eyes. "I'm patient as I can be... But you push it... I should kill you.. But that'll make me stoop lower than you... You're not as invincible as you think! Magic is mostly useless on other magical creatures... When I show you what I mean you'll know." He then held her down still. He saw Volarune coming back. The Blood Red feathers seemed to have gotten even redder. He blasted at them both. Raienzio forced Caroline up and carried out of the blasts way.

Caroline didn't want to touch the arms to move them away, cause she was afraid that they would slice her up... When she was being held down, she felt like she was being squished under a big iron... Before she knew it, she was being held onto and standing... Her eyes became wide as she saw the blast hit right where she was being held against the ground. She looked up at Raienzio.. "If you wanted me dead, why didn't you just leave me lying there to be hit by the blast?"

"Because. I'd be no better than those who made Volarune like this...." He snarled with a hiss. Raienzio plopped Caroline down there and hid her under a large tree. He then looked at Volarune. The Full Demon Form landed near where Caroline was last. He scrawled and violently shook his head. He then smelled Raienzio. He spotted the Siren and narrowed his eyes at him. He slowly walked towards them. His was snarling in a manner that his many teeth were showing his teeth. There were over a hundred teeth. He snapped at them and jerked his head at them. He saw the Fear of Caroline's face. He closed his eyes an roared in agony. He flapped his wings and flew off again.

Caroline fell to the ground behind the tree with hurting her arm... "OWe! Every heard of being gentle Raienzio?! Gosh..." She held her arm and sat behind the tree... "Now that he is gone... Can I come out from this ridiculous hiding place?!"

Jasmine was greatful for the assistance. With an almighty shriek, she dive-bombed the dragon, who by now was weakened considerably, and hit them with as much force as she could muster. The dragon's jaws fell open and out tumbled Two-Tone's body. Jasmine caught her and flew back to the others. She shifted to human form after laying her friend down. Two-Tone had been heavily injured and was bleeding. her breathing was pained. "Two-Tone?" Jasmine asked. Two-Tone made no reply. She was alive, but incredibly weak. THAT was when Jasmine finally cracked. Jasmine's eyes turned a deep blue and then she turned back into the Lacewing Dragon. But there was something different this time. Her scales were jet black and streaked with blood-red stripes. Her eyes, still deep blue, were glowing. Then Jasmine frowned. "What's just happened to me?" she whispered.

<ol><li><div align="justify">Felicitey stood and stared in amazement. She wanted to yell out to them, but she knew she couldn't speak or get anyone to realise her words. She was terrified of the scene before her, but instead of hiding she ran up to figure out the cause of the jumble. Standing by the nearest tree, about a foot away from everything, she ran her fingers though the air. Gold letters that became words that became phrases, formed <em>Excuse me? What is going on? Hello?</em> She doubted people would notice, that is the thing that stinks about being mute. No one knows when your talking, or who your talking to. Especially the blind, they never know what your saying. She tried again, making the words bigger. <em>Excuse me! Hello?! Is everything okay? Can you read this?</em><br></div></li></ol>

Raienzio nodded at rnFelicitey. "Yes! I can read that..." He sighed to her. Then he turned to Caroline. "I would've been if I hadn't tripped up a bit Caroline. My leg's wound is the proof..." He then pointed to his bloodied up leg. He looked up into the skies and didn't see Volarune. He looked at the ground and sighed. "Volarune." Hew jerked his head up and saw Jasmine. He walked over to her and pat her scales. "You're enraged... And in pain. Your feelings have hold over your powers. Control your feelings and emotions, you control your powers... That's how it always has been for Volarius and his Demon half Volarune...." He told her. 
A terrible screech had erupted from the skies. It was Volarune. He was flying around frantically in the skies. He was slowly losing altitude. Volarune soon lost all control and fell with a crash. He landed next to Felicitey. He was still covered in the feathers that was Red as blood. He saw Felicitey and scrawled. "Your aura... It feels like Jacklyn... in you..." He then sighed and closed his eyes. He was out cold. 

Volarune sighed as he felt a strange power entering him. He wasn't entirely possessed but was very pained and stressed. The power of life in him scared him. He thrashed about and Raienzio was thrown off and landed on his back. Volarune snarled and snapped his jaws at Felicitey. He was terrified. "Who are you!? Where's Jacklyn?!" he screamed out with a caw. He was panicking. 

Volarune backed away. He shook his head almost thrashingly hard. He snarled and sighed. He then felt the Essence of Felicitey's calming nature. He was still scared but slowly calmed down. He fell over and growled. "Jacklyn.... Why'd you vanish? You said you wouldn't leave me..." He scrawled with sorrow. He lowered his head and covered himself with his wings in a tight feathery ball.
