Jasmine snorted and tossed her head high in annoyance.
"Get the heck off me." she muttered. "Oh, and I'm Jasmine." After waiting for a moment, Jasmine whispered something angrily under her breath and shifted into the form of the Hummingbird, buzzing away and then returning, shifting into the form of a Golden Orb Weaver Spider. She hoped this form wasn't too scary, but she understood if it was...Golden Orb Weavers were the size of dinner plates.
"That's much better." she hissed, her voice slightly strained in this form. Then, using her spindly forelimbs, she proceeded to spell out the signs for 'sorry if I scared you'. |

Jasmine decided to give an audible reply this time.
"This is the form of a Golden Orb Weaver spider." she said, and as she said it she spelled out the signs for what she was saying so as to avoid any confusion. "Latin name... Nephila clavipes, if I recall. Named for their ability to spin golden silk instead of normal silk. Also, the silk of the Golden Orb Weaver is remakably strong." She hesitated.
"Sorry, I do tend to ramble on a bit like that." she continued, again spelling out the signs of her words to avoid confusion. "If this form scares you, I could change it to something a little less scary?" She considered her options...the Harpy was out, because that was quite frankly terrifying. Dolphin or whale was out of the question because there was no lake/ocean around. Jasmine then remembered her only other form that could understand signs...a rabbit.

(hey gangs! Sorry I've been gone! My Account Arvien became unusable! Couldn't log back in....) A roar escaped from the forest. Then the figure of the roar came into view. It was a Dragon Beast Man. His violet scales gave way to markings that glowed a Deep Ruby color. His wings withdrew into his back and revealed long spines that were ablaze with flames. His eyes were intense and strong. He then stood up onto two feet and snarled. But he then looked away and slowly walked up to Jessamine, Jasmine, and Vega. He then growled and said, "What are you intruders doing in my Territory....?" He asked them. His mane was long and black with blood red tips running through it. It billowed magnificently in the slight gentle breeze. |

Jasmine, without so much as a single thought, shifted into the form of a Reticulated Python. She commonly did this as a warning to foes...though she also hoped that she wouldn't scare Jessamine very much.
"For your information, I've lived here for sssssseveral monthssssss now." she drawled. "You've not bothered me sssssso far." She then shifted into the form of a rabbit, spelling out the word 'sorry' in signs to Jessamine before shifting back into the form of the huge snake.
"I'm Jasssmine, I'm Irissssh, and you'd better not bug me." she warned. |

The Creature then seemed to show a look in his eyes that looked like he wanted to devour Jasmine. "For you information, I like to eat Snakes and Rabbits. So you seemed to look like food to me now..." The Dragon Beast Man snarled. He then lowered himself to all fours and flared up his spines. He then pawed at the ground and licked his jaws. Then show numerous dagger like teeth.

Jessamine glared at Jasmine. I'm mute, not deaf. She then turned her gaze towards the huge thing. Oh my god what is that thing! She almost fell over from all the blood rushing to her head.

Jasmine would have raised an eyebrow if she'd had any in that form.
"Not today, thanksssss very much!" she hissed, and she went into the form of a Lacewing Dragon. The Lacewing Dragon, you must understand, is vastly different to other dragons. They are only 7 metres long (very small for a dragon) and have long serpentine bodies. They have six, spindly insect-like legs near the front of these bodies which have almost no use at all for they can barely support the creature's light weight. However, the Lacewing Dragon makes up for this in flight ability; nothing can fly better, faster, or with more agility than the Lacewing Dragon, thanks to their light weight and huge dragonfly-like wings. But despite all this, it's the creature's other features that really make you stare...they have long antenna on their heads, insect-like eyes, and a scorpion-like stinger on the end of their tails.
"Don't try anything." Jasmine growled, fiercely. "I'll just sting you, and then my deadly venom will get to work. And just you try biting me...my blood is poisonous, too." She hesitated.
"And if you try and hurt these guys, I'll get you first." she growled.
((Wow...Jasmine's in a bit of a bad mood today!))

(Well, she usually is. Thats one of the reasons Jacky didn't like her too much! Jasmine kept tossing apples at her. >.>) Jessamine grabbed a small book with a blue cover and flipped through it nervously. If she had seen Jasmine, she would have 'said' Aw, how cute! But she didn't. Sucks for Jasmine. Jessamine put her finger on a page, read through the words, and did the signs with her hand while she was reading. A large gust of wind blew the horrifying creature backwards.

Jasmine gave the slightest of alarmed shrieks as the sudden gust of wind blew the creature off their feet. She was forced to dig her six insect-like limbs into the ground to prevent herself from being blown away as well. She tucked her head down and her antenna flattened to her neck.
"That...was...sudden..." she hissed over the gust. "I hate to admit such things, but...that was rather impressive!" |

Jessamine picked Jasmine up and placed her away from the wind. Just a flick of the wrist. She then waited to see if the creature would come out again.

((Did she pick up a Lacewing Dragon in her hands? Because the dragon is seven metres long! O_O))
Jasmine immediately made a casual, if somewhat clumsy, attempt to regain her posture. Of course, this ended in disaster and she ended up tripping over her own insectoid limbs and crashed to the ground, ending up in a rather undignified position. She hastily scrambled back up to her own six feet and made another attempt to regain her dignity. She managed to return to a more dignified posture, her body curled up like a snake around her six spindly limbs, but she was still rather embarrassed. She growled several words under her breath that, though in audible to the others, will not be put here. |

(what she lacks in voice she makes up in... MUSCLES!!!) Jessamine folded the book closed and swept it into her pocket as quickly as she created the wind. She wanted to make sure no one knew she had magic, because many fairy tales spoke of people trying to steal it.

Jasmine shifted into the form of a rabbit and hopped over to Jessamine.
"Thanks for that, by the way." she said. "And believe me, I NEVER say that!" She nibbled a blade of grass. It tasted a little like mint, much to her surprise and pleasure. |

The Creature came up from the windy blast and looked like he enjoyed it. He walked up to Jessamine and chuckled in a growly tone. "That was quite a rush. Thanks goodness my wings are tough." He told her. Then he got deadly serious. He then snarled and calmed down. "Listen. I'll only ask this once more. What are you two doing in my Territory? You see I guard this land and will with my very Life!" He snarled curling up his wings into his back. He was looking more patient. Perhaps it was due to Jasmine's form being another type of Dragon? The Creature then walked over to Jasmine and then looked at her legs. "If you keep working on building strength on them insect legs, you'll soon be able to run like the wind on them... An old Lacewing Dragon friend of mine learned how to do just that. Though he had to move his tail up like he was a scorpion and have his wings laid out to ensure balance. He was pretty agile for the such...." He growled. Then he got again on all fours and backed away to an large boulder and just flopped down on top of it. He was still waiting for an answer as to what they were doing here.

Jessamine glared at the strange creature. She made the signs for I was just at home then I saw whoever this is and just wandered over. If you want me to leave, I will. She folded her arms, taking the blue book back into her hand.

The creature seemed to mull things over a bit and sighed. "So that's all the reason you're here? Ah.... Darn my Over Protective Instinct!" He snarled. "You're one of those that live not far from here... then? That means you can be here all you want. Anytime you want. I'm only permitted to chase away those not from around her. My sincerest apologies...." He then rolled over onto his back on the rock and stretched. "Name's Nekoryu by the way..."
