Claire followed, and pursed her lips. "Wow," She said, brushing her finger over some of the artwork on the wall. "Impressive."
( I totally was just reading and let my mind wander. I thought someone actually just thought she was his girlfriend. That shows how tired I am, I can't even read. xD )

( xDD Ha. ) Calamity shrugged. "Thanks," he said, flashing her a smile. He sat down on a random stool, patting a seat near him that looked similar to the kind of bed you had to sit on in a doctor's office. He turned away, pulling out a binder and holding it out to Claire. "You can look through that." he told her, smiling.

Claire smiled. She flipped through the pages. Lots of flowers and tigers, but nothing that meant anything to her. She didn't stop looking at the pages, but she asked him quietly, "What do you think I should get?" She paused before flipping the page.

"Tribal tattoo," Calamity said, adjusting the needle on his tattoo machine. "They're very nice. Oh, and, easy to make," He gave Claire a smirk. "They look compliated, but they're not, really. Least painful place is probably your butt or thigh or back. I really don't know; I can't tell the difference anymore."

"A crow," Calamity answered, poking the tip of his needle. "It hides under his hair. It's sort of under-slash-behind his ear, so, most people can't see it." he explained, and looked up to smile at Claire again.

"Great," Calamity chirped, and flicked the switch on the tattoo machine, touching the tip of the needle to Claire's skin and tracing out a pattern. He drew slowly, of course, being careful not to mess up.

Claire winced at first, but she got used to the sting of the needle. She followed the pattern with her eyes only and smiled. Claire almost cried with she would be without him for a year, but she sucked it up and got a tattoo. Severin would be proud, right?

Calamity turned Claire's hand over slowly, beginning to fill in the shapes he'd drawn. Just for an added effect, he drew a few leaves, details and all. He turned her hand a little more, crossing lines and coloring in here and there.
