( In Claire's world, he does. ) Claire didn't look Calamity in the eye. Why would she? This wasn't really something she wanted to be talking about, anyway. Still a bit early, right? She wanted to snap at him for syaing that about him, but it was true, and Calamity didn't deserve it. She didn't even have enough of a voice right them to tell him she didn't want to talk, that him leaving still made her feel.. well, she would've trailed off then. Claire sighed, "Fine, he's the same to everyone." She said, but she didn't mean it. She even added an 'as far as you know' in her head. |

( Hrr. o3o ) "Fine," Calamity repeated with a sigh, deflating a little as he did. His head still bent down, he mumbled, "You're a sweet girl, you know that? I'm glad Severin found a girl like you."

Smiling a little bit, Calamity sighed. "If I said that, you'd obviously disagree," he said quietly, and then looked up at Claire. "You wanna go somewhere else now?" he asked.

Claire ignored his first comment, shrugging. "Sure." She said, looking outside at the sky, it was still mid-day. She figured it would be later, but it wasn't. Hm.

"Alright," Calamity said, and waved his hand at the girl who had been their waitress. "Check~!" he called cheerily, and was handed it to him not too long after. He placed a card on it and handed it back.

"Alright, let's go," Calamity said, setting down a tip for the waitress under a salt shaker. "We've been here long enough," he added with a smile. "My food is all cold and gross. So, you know." ( xD Because Calamity has the tendency to butt in where he's not wanted. At least, when it comes to his family. )

Calamity walked out of the building, completely ignoring his car as he walked out of it. "Let's go to the pond," he said, pointing ahead. "It's not too far from here, and it wouldn't be too crazy to go right now." He turned and grinned at Claire. "Afterwards, if you'd like, I'll take you home."

"I like the pond," Calamity said randomly, head bent down as he kicked a stone along the sidewalk. "It's quiet, and people don't really go to it. They'd rather go to the beach or something, but, I prefer the pond. It's cute."
