"Just as?" Calamity laughed. "You're right, I'm not. But, earlier this year, I jumped off a roof for money." He turned around, and pointed to his leg. "Cracked my fibula, busted my shoulder, fractured my wrist. It was hilarious."

( I can just imagine it right now... You're thinking, "How'd that happen? O_o" He landed on his side. )

Claire cringed a bit, just the thought was kinda painful. Okay, not really. "Oh, yeah, sounds really hillarious." She said, but the teasing tone in her voice was ruined by her chuckle.

( Don't you just hate when Res gives your words a shot?

"It totally was!" Calamity exclaimed, wheeling around suddenly to look at Claire. Then he tripped, stumbled, but caught himself. "I was in horrible pain, but while I was in the emergency room, I started thinking about how stupid that was. And I cracked up. And it hurt. Like hell."

"I wonder why. You only jumped off a roof, that's all." Claire teased, staring down at the ground rather then looking at Calamity. "Are you crazy? .. Or something?"

Calamity smiled sheepishly. "A little," he said, and shoved some of his black hair back. "But, hey, I was dared to do it. And, I got money for it, so I'm good." He stretched his arms out in front of him, folding his hands together and cracking his joints.

"Your logic is so messed up." She chuckled. And by 'your' she didn't mean Calamity's, but his and Severin's. But, he didn't know that, and she wasn't going to tell him.

"My logic," Calamity said, stressing each word a bit. "is not messed up at all. It's just..." He blinked, trying to think of a word. "Unusual." he said finally, smiling triumphantly.

Claire lightly pushed his arm, "You're unusual." She chuckled, ficking the hair out of her eyes again.

Calamity scoffed. "That's just fine," he said, and trotted ahead, stopping at the edge of a small wooden dock that went over the pond. He pulled off his shirt, shoes, skinny jeans, then proceeded to check and make sure all of piercings were secure. Then, he dived in.

Claire could have over reacted to that, but instead, she just chickled. She stood where she was, afraid of getting splashed if she walked any closer. How deep was that pond, anyway? Deep enough for someone to dive in, apparently.

Calamity's head popped up again, and he shook his head, shaking out the water in it. "There's lots of mud down here," he said, pulling himself up onto the dock again. "I sunk in. Sorry for jumping in all of a sudden, by the way." He sat down at the edge, then patted the space next to him. "Take off your shoes and let the fish nibble your toes." he said.

( It's -6 outside and I have to go get a new tree 'cause Tati knocked it over. Dx .... xD )

Claire walked over to him, and sat down on the edge, crossing her legs and pulling her knees up to her chest. She wasn't going to let the fish nibble her does, that would be strange.. wouldn't it?

"Orrr not." Calamity shrugged a little, and wiggled his toes, attracting a few fish. He didn't shy away, and neither did the fish. "So, it's getting late." he said, looking up at the sky and blinking. "I'll take you home soon, if that's what you'd like."
