Severin took a step back when a police car stopped nearby, and he half turned away. "Damn," he said, voice trembling slightly. Not out of fear, of course; out of anger. He couldn't help it.

One of the officers stepped out of their car. "Is there a problem here?" he asked. Severin's eyebrow twitched. He hated when they said that. Of course, there was a goddamn problem. They wouldn't be called out if there wasn't. "No." he growled. "What about that kid, not too far away from here?" the officer asked. "You get into a fight?" At that moment, he noticed Claire. Because he saw a girl, he *censored*umed the fight was about a girl. And, it was. Severin simply glared back at the officer.

Severin shot a glare at Claire over his shoulder. "Because I told you to," he hissed. Actually, he didn't want to tell her that he had a record on his back. No way. She'd probably be disappointed in him...or something. For some reason, he didn't want that.

Severin rolled his eyes. He glanced back at the police officer, muttered a few angry words, and started off himself. They weren't even paying attention to him, or Claire. Or anyone. They were simply standing around, talking. It made him even angrier. Not only did they have crappy teachers, but they weren't safe with this sort of police force. Jeez.
