Name: Art Jenkins.
Age: 120, but loiters about as a teenager of 15.
Gender: Male.
Element: Water.
Breathing Ability: Shards of ice, or ice-cold water.
Appearance: Art looks like your average High-School go-er, in his human form, of course. He's fairly tall, if not of an average height, with a lean physique and shaggy brown hair. His eyes, though, are an odd color. It's amber, with flecks of grey in them, and are framed by his thick black gl*censored*es. He's quite feminine for a boy, with soft features, and cheeks that tend to go pink. Peculiar, yes.
Dragon Appearance: [Since I can't describe dragons to save my life, here's a picture. Oh, and it's minus the little chap. ^^]http://fantasygalleryart.com/library/37HobsyllwinandAngusHS.jpg

Personality: Art is odd. There's no other word to describe him. He's not a social butterfly, and prefers to keep to himself, not that he minds the company he gets sporadically. He's known to break out into random drabbles about the most random stuff, whether it pays any relevance to the on-going conversation or not. His flaw, though, is that he usually can't stand up for himself. Ah, that was a jolly note to end on.
Other: [As of now, I've got nothing. o_O ]

Nikki hugged herself as a huge gust of wind howled through the school's courtyard, tugging at her woolen sweater and skirt awkwardly. Flushing with embarra.ssment she held the edges of her skirt down and rushed for the main building, spitting out a mouthful of leaves when they flew into her face. "Ugh," she muttered, plainly in a bad mood, and padded through the large arched hallway that lead to the large double doors of the main building. Tugging her hair behind her ears the teen girl walked into the spacious lobby of the school and made her way to her first clas.s of the day, history.

Slipping into the small cla.ssroom she moved toward the desk at the back, just out of the teacher's radar but not far enough that the teacher would constantly be checking on her. Perfect. Dumping her shoulder bag onto the chair she pulled out her textbook and opened it to the correct page, then inserted a comic book. Grinning she leaned back and began 'studying'.

"Taylor, you're going the wrong way again," Maksis muttered as Taylor tugged him through the hallways. She paused in her step before stopping totally. After she glanced around a few times she admitted she was lost. Maksis grinned and pulled her in the other direction before releasing her hand. The wind howled against the walls of the boarding school which created an unearthly shriek that broke the calm atmosphere of the school. Taylor flinched occasionaly when a rather large rush of wind would claw through the cracks in the windows.

They came upon their history cla.ss quickly with Taylor muttering about how they wouldn't be able to fly tonight. The wind would pose too much of a danger for even them, masters of the sky. Maksis snorted at her pessimistic tone and took a seat at the far left of the cla.ssroom, nearest to the window. Instead of focusing on what the teacher may be doing, she cast her gaze out through the gla.ss and into the forest below.

History had never been Art's favorite subject. Hell, Art didn't have a favorite subject. Names can certainly be deceiving, because Art wasn't even good at Art. Oh, how twisted our little world is.

Art stared at his History teacher, gaping at her. He observed at how she just spoke and spoke, droning on and on in the same monotonous tone like broken record. He squinted, his black gl*censored*es almost slipping of his nose, and tilted his head to a side. What was her name, again? Aw, hell. Who cared? The way she was going on, he was doubtful whether she remembered it as well. He diverted his attention to his binder, and uncapped his pen. He hunched his shoulders, and as if on cue, sneezed loudly.

''Blah-CHHOO!''

Every student in cl*censored* spun to look at him, all with bemused expressions etched on their sleepy, drowsy faces. Well, at least they had some sort of entertainment. Oblivious to the distraction he had provided, Art smiled peacefully to himself, and began writing random words on the crisp white page, and underlined one particular word- PHLEGM.

Dinka groaned as he made his way through the same halls, past the same doors, and into the same first period, History. He held that word there for a while, revisting his emotion on how much he loathed the word. History. He thought again. Only someone pure evil would make such an annoying cl*censored*.

Slipping off his bandana that kept his ebony hair picked up in a messy updo, his hair messily fell and covered his bright red eye. He took a deep breath and opened the door to hell. He closed the door behind him and looked at the History teacher with his blue eye. He tried to look regrettful, but it had hate mixed in.

"I'm sorry I'm late." He said, not feeling sorry at all. His blue eye fell over all of the students in the room, and after another hesistant moment, he took his place in his usual seat. Seeing as this wasn't the first time that Dinka was late, the History teacher turned back to the board to continue her boring speech. Suddenly, as one of his fellow students unleashed a fury of a sneeze, he couldn't help but smile to himself as he turned towards the boy who's sneeze rang through the cl*censored*room and caused yet another distraction. He winked his red eye (although no one could see it) and gave him a thumbs up.

"Nice one, Arty."

[I could view it this time in a new tab. <3]

Snorting at Arty's explosive outburst Nikki rolled her shoulders and sighed when she felt her back seize slightly before loosening. Obviously being a dragon didn't change the fact that she still had back problems. Flipping her comic page she lifted an eyebrow at the teacher as she began droning on about the Battle of the plains of Abraham. Unfortunate choice, because Nikki had already lived through it and she wasn't too keen on revisiting the subject. Twitching her lips in what suggested a growl she settled back into her chair, ignoring the twinges of her back. They'd go away. They always did.

Only a few seconds after Dinka entered the room with a decidedly non-contrite look on his face and gave Arty a thumbs up. Lifting an eyebrow at the boy she shut her text book and glared at the teacher, daring her to continue on about the death of general Wolfe. The teacher shut her mouth and gave Nikki a stern look. "I suppose," she said haltingly, realizing that most of her students were on the verge of falling asleep, "we could learn about Genghis Khan and his struggle to dominate most of the known world."

[We can all control the teacher. :u Just so you know.]

Taylor's gaze, having still been intently staring at the gray stormclouds approaching, had flitted back to the cla.ssroom when an obnoxious sneeze erupted in the atmosphere. She turned her head slightly, acknowledging the boy with curiosity. She decided he wasn't worth her attention, as the same went for her teacher, and she threw her eyes back out the window. With every minute that pa.ssed, her ex
pression grew more haggard. Though she loved the rain, she loathed not being able to get outside and fly. There, in the sky, as another being, was an escape from this hell-hole.

---

Maksis pushed his books against Taylor's back and she swatted at his hand. He tapped her shoulder, this time capturing her attention. "What do you want," she hissed to him, not even meaning it as a question. Maksis threw his hands up in mock surrender.

"Hey, why don't you listen to this," he said and pointed to the teacher. Taylor barely heard the teacher's last words, 'We could learn about Genghis Khan and his struggle to dominate.' The only thing Taylor registered out of that sentence was that it reminded her of the pokemon 'Khangaskan'.

"Genghis who?" she spoke up.

The teacher coughed delicately and gave Taylor a frosty glare. "Would any students like to share their knowledge?" she asked in a grim voice, fixing Nikki with a particularly harsh look. Nikki sighed and rolled her eyes, tapping the desk impatiently with her fingers. "He was born in Mongolia and united the Mongol tribes that roamed the land," she muttered in a bored tone. "Louder please," came the loud command. "Repeat it louder Ms. Gervais."

Nikki recited her answer again, sitting up in her seat. "Happy?" she hissed mutinously, feeling at that moment like blasting their teacher with a nice thunderbolt. But, unfortunately, harming humans without reason was against the Dragon law. Scowling she leaned her head on her chin and looked out of the window, noticing that Taylor kept glancing in that direction as well. Birds of a feather flock together, Nikki mused with a faint smile.

After Nikki's reply to the teacher, Taylor lost interest in the conversation yet again. She pulled her gaze away from the window and up to the clock. Sighing, she realized happily that they only had more than a few minutes in this cla.ss. Today had gone by with the breeze, though it was still only first cla.ss. She settled her hand on her head and closed her eyes, mentally daring the teacher to call her out on such behavior.

OoC; Edited the bios. They have personalities and suchs now :3

BiC;Brennan held her head down close to her desk and ferociously scrawled down the words coming out of everyones mouths. 'Genghis khan. Mongolia. Mongol tribes that rule.' As f*censored*t as her brain could comprehend her fingers and hands could move. Thoughts about this lecture floated through her head, though she'd learned this lesson many times, it refused to sink in. she could tell you pi to the 25 degree and list you the elements found in bones, and possibly, on a good day the exact definition of calcined bone. But history was not her strong suit. Looking over at her cl*censored*mates she saw Taylor and Nikkiglancing out the window. 'I wouldn't mind heading out on a day like today...' she thought. Her ivy and gold coloured eyes searched the feld. she could see trees blowing about and knew how it would billow under hr wings and... she cancelled those thoguhts out and tried to train her focuson her stern and annoying teacher.

-

Seeley glanced from his teacher to Brennan to his paper. History, not his favourite cl*censored* of course, but still his grades were swell. His worst grade was a 75% in art. He didn't have a great artistic talent, and not many people liked him. Lifting his head he sought knowledge

ooC; Seeley's post is fail. sorry

Mavryk dashed through the courtyard of the school, his teeth clenched as he tried to get to his first cla$$. He was late, real late. "Aw, darn," he muttered, climbing the steps to reach the school doors. "Hope she doesn't freak." He was reffering to the first cla$$'s teacher. The first cla$$ was.. History, right? "Ugh.." He hated school.

He slowed his pace down once in the hallway, listening to the echo of his footsteps. He was the only student in there right now, and that made him nervous. Finally, he reached the door of the History cla$$room. Hesitantly, he opened it and stepped inside. Of course, the other students were there and so was the the teacher. She was looking at him. "S-Sorry I'm late." He stammered then quickly made his way to and empty seat at the back. He never liked sitting here at the back, he preffered being somewhere in the middle, but right now he had no choice. Sighing quietly, he slumped slightly in his chair and tried to listen about what the teacher was talking about.

Brennan turned around to face Mavryk, despite being socially inept she tried her best to strike conversations. "Mavryk, why did you even come to cl*censored*? There's not even ten minutes left." Her  sparkling green and gold eyes wide she pondered his options. Come late and not get marked absent. Not come at all, get an absent and a phone call to his 'parents.'

Art was completely oblivious to what was going on. Well, that wasn't anything out of the ordinary. He shifted in his seat uncomfortably, and noticed two girls from his cl*censored* gazing out of the window, ignoring the talk about the Genghis Whatever-His-Last-Name-Was. Curiously, his eyes followed their gaze, and he just stared out of the window with a blank ex
pression crossing his face.

What was so great about the forest that put them all in a stupor? He comtemplated, and then shrugged. Probably they were all dead bored of this stupid cl*censored* as well.

He saw a flock of doves fly in synchronization across the light blue sky, and he grinned goofily to himself. With his pen, he counted them slowly.

'' A one...a two...a three...a four-no, I just counted that again, a four, a- NO! Don't go away, birdies!'' he hissed, stretching his arm out, so as to catch them and prevent them from flying any furthur.

He sighed, and turned to his left. Without a second thought, he poked Dinka with the nib of his pen playfully, a grin spreading across his face.
