(well, nothing happened really. they're still in their base and they got their mission. Kentaro and Meridith spilled hot coco on the floor and they are going over the plan to stay hidden in the party and not attract attention.)

Meridith followed his lead and stood. "So we should go light on the weapons. Not only do we have to blend in but we will be in a crowded space. No need for anything big." She turned to Amy and Avven. "You guys coming?"

Kentaro's face went as rigid as stone and he followed the two out toward their weapons bunker. "Meridith is right. We need light weapons that won't be hard to handle and won't show on dresses and tuxes. WE can't give away that we are there for protection." He looked around the weapon's chamber, eying the hundreds of weapons that the people in the building could use.

Meridith was the last one out as she followed Kentaro. Glancing at the wall of weapons, she walked towards one end. This was where they kept some of their lighter stuff. "What do you think? One weapon per person? Or maybe just for the girls. You could probably get away with more." She asked, looking towards Kentaro.

Kentaro shrugged. "I don't really know. I mean, I don't want to be carrying around multiple weapons and you will most likely have a purse, which would fit better weapons. But, I guess one per person would be fine based on what the situation is. Plus, I think we'd need just one gun and probably something we can use to catch. Like the rope nunchucks. So they wrap around the legs."

She nodded. "Yeah, you're right." She continued to eye the weapons before making a mental note of what she would take. She would come back later to gather them, they served no purpose to her at the moment. "I think I know what I'll use. I'm going to head over to the costume closet to get a dress."

Kentaro scanned the weapons with no emotion, making quick notes of what he could fit into different kinds of outfits he was sure he might be wearing. He nodded and looked at Meridith. "I'm going to go with you. I need to find myself a suit I suppose." He walked out of the weapon room and toward the room that held all their disguises.

Meridith walked beside him down the hall to their next destination. "This is probably odd of me to say," She started, breaking the silence between them. "But I'm glad that we are on the same team. You're pretty much the only person I actually talk to when there isn't a mission involved."

He gave her a sideways stare and then a small smile. "I see. Well, taht's glad to hear." He looked at the door and opened it, revealing the clothing that ranged from Antarctic snow gear to African hot weather clothes and everything in between. "I only talk to you as well." He smiled a little more.

Meridith gave him a smile before going in. "Alright, let's see," She said, mostly to herself. Walking up to a rack with clothes that hadn't been put away to the proper spot yet, she pulled out a snowsuit. "Here we go. This is perfect." She laughed before hanging it up and going over to the section with formal wear hanging, ranging from long dresses to short dresses. "Now to be serious," She muttered, looking through the dresses.

Kentaro actually gave a chuckle at her antics. He smiled and walked in, following her toward the formal wear. He pulled a few suits down and tossed around some ties that were just plain weird, like, when did he wear a polka-dot tie? He sighed and finally decided on a plain black dress pants and vest. He hated the jackets, so he settled on a tail-coat. Black of course.

She continued to look through the dresses, finally settling on a short, pale blue party dress. After finding a bag to match and was big enough to hold a weapon, she turned to Kentaro. "Find something?"

Kentaro held up the outfit he found and pulled out a pale blue dress shirt so that he matched somebody, which was his partner of course. "Yeah." He hung everything he picked on a hanger and held it close to him so that he didn't lose anything. "Did you?" He reached into the inner pocket of the tailcoat and decided it was big enough to hold the weapon he chose.

Meridith finished tying the shoe strings to her converse. Not the typical footwear to events like this but it made it easier to run if the need arose. She stood from the chair she was sitting in and gave herself a once over in the mirror. "I guess I'm ready." She said, checking for the tenth time her weapons were in place. "How about you Kentaro?" She asked turning to her partner. They were given this room to prepare, having spent most of their morning familiarizing themselves with the building and staff.

Kentaro pulled the tailcoats of his jacket before he fixed his tie and tucked it into the jacket. He looked himself once over and nodded. He pulled out the weapons he chose and placed them in various places, before he checked himself again to make sure he didn't look like he had something to hide. "Yeah, I'm ready.." he tied his shoes, which still had the small heel he loved and tapped his foot in. "Alright, ready?" He held his hand out to her, already getting into a different character than the shy quiet Kentaro.
