Continuing her walk around the place, Meridith noted several other plants concealing different weapons. Looks like they could strike from anywhere they pleased. She thought grimly. As she walked by the entrance, she noticed Amy and Avven arriving. "Oh my gosh!" She exclaimed, rushing towards them. "I can't believe it's you two!" She grabbed them both, pulling them into a hug. "We found something." She whispered to the both of them. Letting them go from her embrace, she let a huge smile cover her face. "It's been too long! We have to catch up! Come on," She grabbed their hands. "Let's get something to drink while we chat."

Amy smiles "Okay!" and looked at Avven, while Avven's eye's caches other wemen. Amy punched his arm and he quickly jerked back and let out a small sigh and a warmingly cold glance "Were on a mission! Not frikin' date night!" she whispered. Amy turned her attetion back to Meridith and smiled again. Avven sighed again and looked around, trying not lo look at the rest of the people with his cold-ish, glance.

Kentaro scanned the area once more and noticed a few glints in little potted plants and then a few were up where he was as well. They planned to have this thing go down whenever they wanted and anybody who was part of it could go and grab their own weapon to make sure people oblige with their demands as they carry out their as.sas.sination. He looked around and backed up to a plant and quickly picked up the gun, turned around and tore the thing apart as quickly as he could before he shoved all the pieces in his deep coat pocket. He walked back to the balcony and spotted Meridith talking to Amy and Avven.

Leading them to the refreshments, she grabbed a drink then headed to a spot close by that was empty of people. As quickly and softly as she could, she explained how Kentaro first spotted the man and the hidden gun and how she had found several more. While speaking, she was using her arms and smiling and laughing, making it look like she was telling some entertaining tale in case anyone near wondered what was being said. "Kentaro will meet us down here later but I'm sure he will find must the same as I have." She finished.

Spirit smiled and nodded, she punched Avvens arm again, he kept geting to cought up on the other ladies and not paying any attetion to... anything but them. Spirit found it was geting harder and harder to pay attetion. {And,, is it okay to bring some drama in the roleplay?} {And, Avven is like megie on CSI! XDDD}

Kentaro finished tearing apart the other guns and keeping pieces that were necessary in his coat. He didn't want them making them again and having it work. He smiled and walked back down the stairs to go find Meridith, which he thought he saw over by the refreshments. He smiled and mingled slightly until somebody grabbed his arm and asked him to dance. He sighed and accepted. He took the lead immediately and danced her toward the refreshments before he released her into the arms of another man. He stepped in next to Meridith. "Sorry, I'm back though. Find anything?" He smiled.

(Drama is fine. As for the bad guy, I talked to the person who is supposed to play them a few days ago and they said they were still doing it but if they don't show up soon, we'll just have to move on without them.)
Meridith scanned the crowd, looking for anyone with a weapon. While looking, she noticed Kentaro making his way over and almost burst out laughing as he started dancing with someone. Smiling and chuckling slightly, she nodded. "Several more plants. And I just finished catching these two up. And what about you?"

((okay, before we move on, i think we should confirm whether or not they will be our bad guy and if so, we should wait for them to post something so we know when the hit goes down and if not, them we find someone else or someone gets another character.))

"So, when does the guest of honor make her appearance? I haven't seen her or her family all day." He smiled and grabbed Meridith's purse, opening it and shoved the pieces of gun in, making sure not to open it too wide to that people could see her gun. "Alright, well, let's see if we can find them." A man leaned against the wall and looked around the ball. His casual black suit made him blend in perfectly and since he was also under cover, he was well known in the upper class. He held his sleeve closed and smirked. It would go down today. Tonight he would fire the first shot and have his people finish teh rest. |

"They should be here soon. They wanted to wait until most people were here before they made an entrance. When she and her family arrive, they will go over there," she nodded her head to the back of the room where there was a raised platform. The orchestra was currently playing on it. "And that's when they will give the speeches. If anything happens tonight, it'll be then." Meridith was saying this while watching Kentaro placing the gun pieces in her purse. Wish I had thought of that. Although with all these people around, I probably wouldn't have been able to anyways.
