((Oh, yeah. Sorry, I geuss I didn't mention that in the plot. You could start your character at their escape froum the school, but it might take them a while to catch up to the flock.))

Naaya woke to white light on the back of her eyelids. She groaned, rolling over so her back was facing the light with her back. She almost screeched when she felt the bed dissapear underneath her body. She fell to the ground, tangled in her bed covers. She groaned, trying desperatly to get out of her messy sheets, wondering how badly this day would be, seeing as her day had already started badly. Once she was freed of her bed-sheets, she crawled to her dresser to get ready for her day. she grabbed a comb from on the top, combing through her long blonde hair. She pulled open one of the draws and shoved through different shirts before deciding on her standard white cami. Opening the top draw, she gasped at what she saw. She stomped to her door, kicking it open, fuming. Her normally rosey cheeks were now fully red with anger, her mouth a soundless snarl. She was currently wearing a white cami and her pajama shorts. She called out into the hall, "Who took my favorite jean shorts?!" [Good?]

"Oops.. Sorry Naaya." Dusk walked into the place wher Naaya was and shook her head that was covered in black hair. "Here you go, they don't fit though, too big." Dusk held out the jean shorts to give back to Naaya, "But its alright, I found my own." She looked down at her tiny, skinny body. She had on a pair of jean shorts with a flowery pattern on the leg. Her shirt was a goldenish color with blue dots on the arms. The wings on her back were folded against her body like bat wings. Around her feather-patterned neck was a string necklace with a blue sapphire hanging from it...

Ezekial awoke by falling hard on the ground off his loft bed. "Ughh" he groaned, "Why don't I ever catch myself?" ooc; Sorry for his failure intro guys Jael slipped out of bed and quickly changed into one of her favourite outfits, fashionably ripped jean shorts and a super man shirt. The clas.sic "s" on the front reminded her of playing with Zeke when they were younger.

"Are you saying I'm fat?" Naaya growled, though the corners of her lips were twisted up into a smile. She smiled and ruffled the younger girl's hair. "Try not to take my stuff in the future, kid. Kay?" she shook her head. She grabbed her shorts from Dusk's hands and stalked back toward her room. She almost slammed the door closed, pulling on her shorts soon after. "I need new shorts." she noted, seeing as her shorts were already becoming too short, thanks to her ever-growing height. She walked over to her mirror and observed her face, glaring at her blue eyes, and watching the face in the mirror glare back at her. She didn't like blue eyes. She wished she had different colored eyes. She grimaced, and pictured herself with green eyes. Pretty green eyes. She closed her eyes, wishing that she would have green eyes when she opened her eyes. She sighed and opened her eyes, leaping backwards when she saw that her eyes had actually turned green.

Alyxander Wolfe rolled over in bed, his asymetrical hair sticking almost straight up. Sitting up at Naaya's yell, he groaned and opened one grey eye. Drumming his long nails on the frame of his bed, Alyx swung his long legs out of bed, wearing a pair of black boxer and nothing else. He poked his head out the door, the naturally golden ends of his hair swinging past his face. "Dusk, what sis you take now?" He said, his long lashed eyes half-closed. Alyx stepped out into the hall, stretching. His huge black wings brushed the ceiling, before he folded them again, padding down the hall. As Alyx reached Naaya's room, he knocked on the side of the door, sayiing, "You do realize that some of us are trying to sleep, right?" He ran his hands through his hair, a large yawn escaping his lips.

Zatchine sighed at the morning routene. This wasn't their first morning in the house, and he knew they were lucky to find furnature, even if it was kind of run- down. He ruffled his wings, glad that the flock wasn't getting larger any time soon. There already seemed too many of them sometimes, but it was nice. They were family, not enimies, even if none of them wanted to admit it. Zilla, however, was more than satisfied with the flock. She loved and had given her heart away to every member as equally as she could, making sure to leave none to herself. Without the flock, she would surely fall. You could say she was like a mirror: One crack and it would all be over. Her ears pricked, noting that some of her friends were already up. Zilla was definately one of the younger members of the flock, but there also seemed to be a large gap between her and the other young members. Even if this was so, she was probably just as skilled and just a little too headstrong. But then again, she'd always been that way. The crimsoned winged girl was pretty short and looked up to most members of her flock, prey for the youngest three., but she knew they would p*censored* her soon. She ran into the next room where there was a seemingly anchient, long leacher sofa and a broken down TV that bady received the local news and kid shows once Zatch and the others had fiddled with the over- used outlets. It was a wide room, and twards the wall there was two flights of stairs, one going up, the other down. The basement was creepy, and as far as she could tell, nobody'd slept down there. It was filled to the brim with spiders and other creepy- crawlies that even Zilla dared not encounter. Upstairs was all the bedrooms and a few bathrooms. This is were the flock had stayed the night and probably gotten the best sleep they'd ever had, and on real beds, too. Well, except for Zatch, who stayed up pratcially all night looking for Erasers. Zilla had come to check on his a little past two in the morning, and he was p*censored*ed out on the couch. Odviously he woke up only anf hour or two after. He must be insomniatic, as if being a teenage mutant freak wasn't enough to deal with. Zilla heistated in the room for a moment before decided she could go upstairs. She came into a wide hall lined with doors to bedrooms, each claimed by a flock member or pair of flock siblings. She had heard what went on between Naaya and Dusk, and almost laughed. She just reached the hall when Alyxander was speaking to Naaya's closed door. "Relax, Alyx," she gigled, giving a little toss to her hair so it went behind her shoulders again. "We can't help it if some of us are early risers."

Alyx turned to see Zilla standing behind him, and smiled slightly, yawming again. "I'm just not a night person, Zil," He said stretching his arms. "Wanna go flying?" He asked, ducking into his room to pull on a shirt with large slits in the back and a pair of grey cargo pants. The tag on his choker clinked softly. It was actually a tag from the school that he had refused to take off, that said simply, "24" which was the number of expiriment he was. The tag was silver, and always resided on his neck. Stretching his night black wings again, Alyx headed down the stairs, opening the old white refrigerator in the kitchen, saying with his head in the depths of it, "Zatch, did you EVER get to bed last night?" Alyx pulled out eight eggs and cracked them into a bowl, mixing them swiftly and putting them into a frying pan, the sizzling permeating the silence. "Do we have any bacon, Zil?" He said to the red head, kneeling, his head in the fridge once again. While Zilla was on one end of the hieght scale, Alyander was at the top of the other, his head reachinig nearly six and a half feet. All the doorways in this house were too short for him, and he had to crounch through most of them. It was weird at the top, having to bend and fold yourself to even get into the panrty next to the firidge. He envied people like Zilla, who never had any trouble fitting anywhere, and they could hide in small palce, while the only option Alyx really had was to either climb a tree or fly away.

"You read my mind," said Zilla was her cl*censored*ic, big smile as she lingered in the hall before following Alyxander down the stairs and into the kitchen. She hung in the doorway there, too, affraid to touch any of the food she and some other flock members had stollen the night before. She had tried to help with he cooking, but the only thing she created was a small WHOOF of flame in a fring pan. which had temporarily filled the entire kitchen with smoke, even with the windows open. Zilla was lucky that the anchient smoke alarms had seemingly died years ago. Zatch continued to stare through the gl*censored* wall, looking for any sign of movement in the earthy sea of browns, blues and greens. He tried looking at the scene from his colorless eye, the sea immediately turning to grays and creams, giving off a rather eiry glow to the mountian forest. He opened his other eye, taking a seccond to let his vision refocus. He pulled himself away from the wall for the first time in hours before walking across the room and sitting on one arm of a couch. He called to the kitchen, "Alyx, do you really have to ask? I barely slept in the School, you think I'll sleep here." Zilla shuttered at her brother's voice. It had been the first out- loud mention of the school since they arrived, as if a weight had been lifted from the flock's shoulders. Zilla pushed the thought away, coming closer to Alyx and beggining to open coubords as if she would find something of use. She grumbled, "Leave it to Zatchine to bring up a serious topic in light air, leave it to me to missplace everything." Somehow, Zilla's eyes remained bright. She herself noticed the grin on her face, and wondered how dorky she looked with it. Zilla chuckled to herself, constantly surprised as how opertunistic she was.

thanks :) sorry for late post Name: Ember Aproxamate Age: 18
Personality: Though generally the calm and caring type, Ember is surprisingly easy to anger.(she has one hell of a glare) She is also extremely untrusting of strangers and any humans are completely out of the picture for trust. Despite this, she knows a bad situation when she sees one and tends to intervene on the side of those she believes is in the right. This often gets her into tight spaces.
Strengths (2): Good at fighting hand-to-hand / runs very well
Weaknesses (2): difficult to approach / clumsy flier
Appearance:
She wears whatever she can get her hands on; she's not picky in the slightest Crush: Can she like Zatch? I'd be fine with a little rivalry X3 Other: none
----- Ember cursed as she met the branchs of a tree again. Ignoring the pain and the various twigs and leaves that were now entangled in her hair, she took off again, glancing down. Between flashes of pine branches, she caught glimpses of her three pursuers. The erasers were getting closer. Though they culdn't catch her in the air, it was only a matter of time before she hit something that knocked her out of it; curse her flying skills. She should have never gone for a morning flight. Stupid, Ember, stupid, she thought to herself. Her heart leapt when she spotted the cliff face up ahead. The feeling soon dissappeared with a "woosh" of air as she bounced off of another tree trunk. A moment later, she was in the open air, no trees for another hundred meters. With a laugh, she looked over her shoulders, where the erasers were shouting at her retreating form, obviously angry. Ember took an indirect route back to the house, not wanting the erasers to find out where it was. When she got close, she landed, prefering to walk as she sifted through her thick hair, painfully pulling the pine twigs from it. she stopped dead as she heard activity in the house. Curses... she thought. They're already awake. Ohhh I'm going to be lectured again.... With her head only slightly hanging, she opened the door, and stepped in.

((Oh, wow, it's like a love-hexigon now. lol, I'm sold.)) Zatch jumped immediately at the sound of the front door and stood up, ready to fight a gang of Erasers. He was almost disapointed to see Ember instead. He sighed, his shoulders relaxing as he reached out and pulled a pine twig from her hair before dropping it on the old wooden floor. He tried to smile, but found it hard. He was usually so light hearted, but found it hard not to be serrious when: A- Erasers were tracking the flock and B- Nobody really took a direct leadership of the flock, as it seemed to p*censored* on from day to day. Zatchine remained serious for a moment, forcing himself to think of how long she'd gone, when she'd left. His stomach sank. HE was only out for an hour or two, when on Earth did Ember sneak by him? He had failed. An akward moment of silence seemed to p*censored*, then two. He burst out laughing. Zatch nearly doubled over, his voice somehow quiet enough to barely reach those still sleeping upstairs. How could anybody stay that stern for so long? True, he could stay focused for hours at a time and was deathly quiet by himself, but there was something about the flock that he just loved. Zatch would never even think about thinking about a flock member dying or being caught by Erasers, but he couldn't stay worried for very long, either. As with Zilla, it was just in his nature to opertinustic. After a seccond, Zatch caught his breath, breifly wondering how regular teens laughed without giant lungs. He looked Ember in her soft, green- gray eyes, debating how to sting his thoughts together in a sentance or two. Finally he found his words. "You may be stealthy enough to p*censored* me by, but apparently not the trees." He reached out as he noticed another small twig caught in a strand of her firy curls that suited her name so well. He withdrw, dropping the seccond stick to the grpund before she could even think about swatting at him. In just two minutes Zatch had displayed one of his weakest and strongest points. His speed, for one. Though it usually came through by flying, no right- minded flock member challenged Zatchine to a race. At the same time, he lacked to be serious. He may have the mindset of a leader, but it never surfaced for very long. The more relaxed he was, the more his mind wandered. In his cage at the school, he would often ask the flock members something absolutely stupid like, "What if the cages had wings and we could talk to them?" These comments were always discouraged by a strong electic shock sent through the iorn of his bars. They weren't allowed to talk to eachother then, all the more reason it felt better to be free. Zatch didn't wait for an answer, instead aking after a breif pause, "Really, Ember, what did you crash into today?" His tone was ringing but calm, as if he already knew the answer. It was not harsh in the slightest. Zatch was one of those being that used the same tone to nearly everybody. A complete stranger child would get exactly the same treatment as a beloved flock member unless, of course, they where absolute brats and shot Zatch with their weak little BB-guns. That may just be the only case where Zatch would hate a child.

Ember swallowed down the blush of embar*censored*ment that tried to rise to her cheeks. As a result, she immediately adopted her serious face, a formidible weapon, except when used against Zatch. When he burst out laughing, Ember was hard pressed to resist the urge of swatting him. If she really wanted to, she could also hunt down one of the many pressure points and send him sprawling, if she could catch him. Instead, she crossed her arms and set up one of her glares, a light a playful one. "The trees don't like me; I thought you knew this." She brushed by him, headed to her bed and her mirror. The blush that rose from er contact with Zatch was much harder to suppress, but she managed it. When they were all locked in cages, Ember had been the defiant type, the one who refused to give any type of reaction at all, whether it was fear, nervousness, or pain. Anger, however, was one she consistently displayed. She picked through her hair again, getting rid of any excess twigs she could find. Then, taking hold of her brush, swept through it a final time, bringing back its lush softness and shiny texture. As she did so, she said, "The erasers are getting bolder. They're really close; jumped me while I was picking berries... Oh! I nearly forgot." She spun around, reaching inside the bag strapped over her shoulder. She retrieved an apple and threw it at Zilla, saying with a smile, "You look hungry."

[[So we're all living in the same house? And sorry for starting late :d]] Arlori blinked open her eyes, and got up from her bed, yawning and rubbing her eyes, an attempt to wake herself. "Gooood morning." She muttered to nobody in particular, standing up and going to the bathroom, brushing her teeth, which was now what she considered her daily duty. Looking in the broken mirror, Arlori stretched her pure white bird wings, pleased with how wide they were. She got dressed, and went downstairs. --- [[I think I should add a male character too, to even out the gender ratio]]

(I'll add a male too :3 ) Name: Raze Aproxamate Age: 19
Personality: He's the type of person that won't let anyone tell him what he can or can't do. He also has a bit of a brother complex for the younger members of the flock and he protects them furiously. He also has a huge appetite and gets cranky when hungry or abruptly woken up; you don't want to be the person that wakes him.
Strengths (2): extremely reliable / physically strong (packs a bleeder of a punch)
Weaknesses (2): easily angered / can't resist a challenge of any kind
Appearance:
(stupid pic wont show if i paste it) http://browse.deviantart.com/?q=angel%20boy&order=9&offset=24#/dg6aq6 Crush: open
Other: none ---- Raze grumbled and rolled over in agitation as the flock slowly woke up. The noise bothered him profoundly, but he refrained from openly complaining. That didn't stop him from scowling as he completely woke up, though. Running his fingers through his hair, he stood up, groaning. His hammock being on the second floor, he leaned against the railing of the landing, looking down upon the activity below. The others were waking up as well; breakfast would be served soon. That thought made his stomach rumble. It also seemed as if Ember had gotten into trouble again. Silly girl, He thought. his opinion about her quickly changed, however, when he noticed that she had food.

Natessa knew she had good senses. Which is why, that even though flock members were still sleeping, she ran down the hall screaming something along the lines of, "BACCON!" waking many flock members up from their rest. Her white hair flying out behind her, her too-big blue nightgown billowing out beneath her, almost trailing on the floor, her favorite stuffed animal bear being dragged across the hall, and her lavender wings spread to their full length. She loved her wings. She couldn't imagine not having wings. Though she could've done without the whole "I-will-do-experiments-on-you-until-you-drop-on-the-ugly-cold-floor-dead" thing. How could humans not have wings? Having no wings would leave you basically, in her view, not living at all. She believed there were two types of people in the world. The ones that had no lifes, and the people who had wings. To her, having no wings would be like a human having no legs. Flying was like breathing to her, something she had to do or else she would surely die. Reaching the stairwell, she pulled in her wings a bit. Although it was easier to fly down the stairs- and much faster, too, her wings would probably brush the sides of the walls, something that didn't hurt, but that she found a nuisance. She skipped down the stairs, going two at a time. Bad choice, she realized too late. She tripped over her nightgown, rolling down the last three stairs, colliding with Zatch. -~- Naaya, glad that her eyes were back to their normal pale blue color, started to clean her room a bit. There was the bedsheets all dumped on the floor, seeing as she had a fight with them earlier, and clothes scattered around everywhere. She was not a very clean person, someoneyou would probably not want to share a room with. She tossed the scattered clothes into a hamper, rearanged her bedsheets, and opened the windows, letting the cool [what's the seaosn?] air fill the room. She breathed in deeply, her eyes closing. She was relaxed, until she heard the sound of her little sister running down the hall, screaming something barelly understandable at athe top of her lungs.

[Not much. Some people made new characters (Ember, Daemon, Raze). Naaya is still in her room, Tess is just ran down th hall screaming, Alyxander and Zilla are in the kitchen, Ember is in her room, Zatch is near the door, Jael and Ezekiel are in the rooms. I think. -o-o]

(ember doesn't have a "room", she has a small section in the main room that has her bed and a small dresser with her other belongings. Same with Raze except he has a hammock) Ember smiled as she heard Natessa perform her daily ritual of sniffing out what breakfast was. She deposited the various fruits and berries she had gathered in the previously empty bowl in the kitchen. With a quick sniff, she turned around and almost gleefuly asked, "Eggs too?" Despite being part bird, Ember loved eggs. Also, for some reason, she loved bacon, but hated regular ham. she had always wondered about that but not for long as the scents of a very good breakfast filled her nostrils and made her mouth water. Before long, she could tell that she was drooling. --- Raze gave a final, somewhat disgruntled, yawn before joining the others that had went, or tumbled as was Natessa's case, downstairs. As he threw himself over the ancient couch's armrest to land with a thud, he asked, "Please tell me you're scrambling those eggs?"
