With a smile, Ember poked her head into the "office" and said,

"Order me a few tank tops. Plain, please, nothing like those fancy, multi-colored things you bought me last time. Oh and a new pair of shorts please, mine are wearing thin."

Ember then turned and hunted down a few strips of bacon, a species that was quickly becomming extinct. From the sizzling comming from the stove, they were reproducing. While munching on her bacon, Ember also snatched a few berries and said through a half-full mouth, "I woulb wub bancakes, Abyx." After a moment, she hoped he could understand her.

Raze had been daydreaming for a few moments until he noticed that some of the flock were suddenly missing. He glanced out the window, catching sight of them. He gritted his teeth and sprang into motion. Charging through the door, his ex
pression was one of fury at the sight of the stranger.

     Naaya, hearing what Ember asked for, scribbled the order down. "Gotcha."  She turned back to the creature, tossing the note pad behind her. "We're not gonna hurt you. As long as you don't hurt us." she said bluntly.

     Tess, hearing the exchange,  got up from the floor and slowly walked toward the front door. She hid behind Naaya, trying desperatly not to seem afraid.

Nylat was getting a bit uncomforatable now. Three, and what looked like a fourth up in the sky...She narrowed her eyes, she was cornered. Only way out was up, but...That was going to be hard, being wingless. She whined a bit, then covered it with a mix between a growl and a hiss. She wasn't the most socialable, and now, with this cornering, her aggression was starting to show.

Her eyes flicked to the one who had as.sured her they wouldn't harm them. She snorted, chuclking to herself.
"Oh, is that the case? Then I'd like to talk to one. Alone. Preferably the one in charge? I'm not too fond of crowding."

(I just talked to her, she says hi and to give you a bunch of huggles :D )

Raze yelled to Naaya,

"Naaya! What are you doing? Get away from her, you don't know what she is!"

Suspicion and unadmitted fear made him come off as very very angry, which probably wasn't a good thing at the moment...

Ember heard Raze yelling and glanced up. Fear made her heart stop dead as she saw a few of the young ones talking to a stranger, but that wasn't what was terrifying Ember. It was Raze, so obviously angry. She swallowed down the last of her bacon, forgot her berries, and dashed out the door after him, calling, "Raze!! Don't!"

(She said she doesn't know, been doing other things with her friends from school :3)

Raze stopped, frozen both by Ember's concern and the creature's odd response. his lip lifted in a soundless snarl, but he remained where he was.
