(No, coincidental)

Cadiak frowned. "No dreams? No omens? No premontions?"

Whether we wanted it or not, we\'ve stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let\'s get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta\'aurc. From what I can gather he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank outside of Rubicon. He\'s well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

[Ironic.]

Firen raised an eyebrow. "Uh......I had an omen dream of a....Squirrel and a sign...Which was, hmm let me see, Angels trying to kill me on sight?" He said, a slightly sarcastic tone tinting his rolling accent.

Cadiak frowned. "A squirrel?" he asked, sneering slightly

"Yeah, one that killed an angel for me." Firen grunted, turning his back on Cadiak. "Got a problem with that?"

Xirus blurted "Like I said before, I came here cause it was a nice place to live. If you direct your attention to that hill over there ,you can see my house." Xirus pointed towards a nearby hill. At the top was a wooden cabin surrounded by a really weird garden. "I wanted to live in the town nearby, but there were too many Templars and I want to use magic." Xirus added.

"Hello, this is... Mom Universe. Yes, the children are playing swords. Sorry, playing with swords. They\'re bleeding, oh noo they are dead. Don\'t call again. * click * Sorry I panicked"

Cadiak ignored Firen. "If you keep your magic to yourselves, we should go explore the town. I'm trying to find a certain scholar who can tell me more about the Malebranche" said Cadiak

Firen stifled a grin before nodding. "Fine." He said, walking off towards the town.

Cadiak walked to catch up to Firen. "We should circle round and enter through another gate. This one is too heavily guarded" he said. The entire town was surrounded in walls apart from the west where there was a harbour. There were four gates, one at the north wall, 1 at the south - where the characters stood - and two on the either side of east wall.

Firen nodded before motioning for Cadiak to lead the way. He was careful to keep his brands from view and placed his sword inside a back pack filled with fire wood. It was one of those ones that are wood bound in a circle.

Cadiak beagn to lead the party east, to the farthest gate. A small dusty road led into it and there were only 2 guards; standard city militia, not Templars.
"We need to make it look like we're coming from that road" said Cadiak. "Otehrwise they'll be suspicious"

"Do remember that these aren't the brightest of people, as long as we don't do anything to draw attention we will be fine." Fennrick pointed out.

If a man dedicates his life to good deeds and the welfare of others, he will die unthanked and unremembered. If he exercises his genius bringing misery and death to billions, his name will echo through the millennia for a hundred lifetimes. Infamy is always more preferable to ignominy-Fabius Bile

"Right." Firen agreed, shrugging the bundle of fire wood over his shoulders and picking out a long, staff like stick from the grass beside the group. "I already look like a farmer, Fennrick here can be a.... Halfling friend of mine. Basically, we could get into the city without trouble."

"I go to town a lot to buy food and stuff. I don't need a disguise." said Xirus.

"What creativity! A Halfling friend of mine-genius." Fennrick said sarcastically. "Still, the base idea is very good, we will need to look as normal as possible."

"I didn't say it was good, I said it would get us in." He muttered, grumbling quietly afterwards.

"Oh come now, it was just a joke." Fennrick said, shaking his head.

Xirus smiled "Yes we shall." She began to walk towards the path.
