((Sorry, I'm here. :3)) Kyle nodded at Ella's words, the "Pain is nothing" comment. He desperately wished that were true for him also. But, alas, it was not. His eyes grew wide as Ella's words continued. "I... I, uh, I had no intention of telling anyone, I swear!" Kyle stuttered through his sentance, looking down at the girl's hand at his throat. "I don't have anyone to tell anyways... Secret's safe with me!" The boy tried not to be nervous, but from what he just saw, Ella would go through with what she said.

Ella put her hand down. She brushed herself off. "Good." She ran her hands through her brown hair and said, "We need to get rid of the body before your parents come home." Ella was nervous. What would Kyle's parents do if they saw a naked, dead man in their back yard. She was shaking. She tried to be tough all of the time, but she hated killing people. She looked at the man's dead body. She shook even more.

"Oh..." Kyle said, not even thinking about the dead body, or his parents reaction. "You know... The river is just down there?" Kyle said, looking down the hill. He didn't know how smart that would be, but the river flew downstream, meaning the body wouldn't be their problem when it washed upon shore elsewhere. "Do you think that's a good idea?" He asked the girl who was shaking. He would have comforted her, if he knew how.

"Yeah," Ella said. She grabbed his leg and began toting him to the river. However, the idea of touching a dead body terrified her. Her free hand was shaking like she was being electrocuted. She began to slow down, waiting for Kyle.

Kyle noticed that the girl didn't like to be touching the body; it wasn't his idea of fun too. He went to grab the man's arm, but it made his skin squirm. "I think we should not carry it... It's a fairly long walk to carry someone of his size... I think we have a wheelbarrow in the shed... Do you think we should put a weight on him as well? So he stays in the water?" Kyle was thinking this through a lot, which usually wasn't a great idea.

"The current will drag him under," Ella said, letting go of the body. "Yeah, you should go get the wheelbarrow. She felt like she was going to throw up. The man's eyes were still open, and there was no life in his eyes. They looked like frosted gl*censored*. She shivered, and looked away.

Kyle nodded, rushing to the shed. He sighed and pulled the key from under the mat. He pushed the key in the padlock with shaky hands and unlocked it. He threw the padlock and keys to the side and thrust the door open. He looked around for a few minutes, shuffling through all stuff. Finally, he saw the wheelbarrow: It was buried under a bunch of crap. He threw the stuff down and retrieved the devise. "Got it," He huffed to Ella, rolling the wheelbarrow down the hill. "Let's get him loaded, quick. My parents' will be home for lunch soon."

Ella took in a deep breath, and closed her eyes. She picked the man up and hefted him into the wheelbarrow with minimum effort. She pulled away, and looked like she was going to collapse. Ella's father was right. Fear was her only weakness. She feared death most of all. She shivered, and grabbed one handle of the wheelbarrow. She waited for Kyle to get the other. The man was heavy, but Ella was a shifter. She could handle it. If she wasn't so scared.

"Oh jeez..." Kyle said as he gripped the other handle. "I could have helped you get him in here!" He said with a small 'huff' of breath. He lifted his side of the wheelbarrow up and pushed. "He's pretty heavy..." He added, looking at Ella with admaration for a slight second. He looked away quickly and kept walking. "How many are there of you?" He soon asked the girl after moments of silence.

"You're one of the few priveleged humans to know about our race." Ella refused to look at him. She pretended to be extremely interested in her bare feet. "We all live in secret. A few of us choose to live camoflauged with the human race. However, only a few succeed in doing that and keeping our race a secret." She sighed. She looked up when she heard the river's roaring waters. She stopped at the edge of the river and clenched her fists. Just yesterday, Ella had almost died in this river, and now, she was pushing a dead body into it. She shook her head.
