Lend laid there and waited for Calyx to fall asleep. Mlle jumped and frowned. "You scared me. C'mon," she said running down an alley towards a forest where the snow wasn't heavily stacked ontop of the trees.

Lend gently got out of the bed and walked down the stairs to find Zane conked out on the floor. "Ding," he said loudly, a good immitation of what the coffeemaker sounded like. Zane shot up like a rocket and looked at the coffee pot. "False alarm," she said quietly. Lend bended over he was laughing so hard. Mlle ran through the trees for about half of a mile before she reached the lake. The air was warmer and the morning sun glistened off of the top of the water. "Here we are," she said aloud.

Mlle leaned into the kiss, putting one hand on the back of his neck, the other entangling itself in his hair. The sleeves on her jacket were a little too long, so they covered most of her fingers.
