"I don't killl humans," Hissed Kohaku. "But I could make an acception," he bared him fangs. He glanced at Lend. "Like I would want to join you. They're find you, and all your other human friends. You can't stay here for long. There's still a trail of blood leading to this place," He paused. "And I don't need friends,"

Calyx whimpered, she couldn't just leave Kohaku, her only family left. "Please, Haku, can we stay?" She asked. "No. Its to dangerous."

"Dangerous?" Lend chuckled. "Do you see how many members we have. We have at least ten. They're all powerfull too."

Zane stood in front of Kohaku, still glaring at him. She wasn't a vampire, but she had the attitude of one. "You know," she said, "you don't have very good social skills, do you?" She was testing him. Seeing how tolerant he was.

"Thought you said you didn't kill humans." She smirked. She turned around to Lend and said, "We can't trust him, he's hostile." She turned back around to Kohaku. "I've been quiet for weeks, now I think I have the right to talk."

"Zane, calm down. You too, mister." He looked at Kohaku. "Kill one of the humans and you bring the world one step closer to dying."

"You're just scaring her. You know you could listen to us instead of blowing everything off." He stood up and got beside Zane. "Zane's been afraid to talk for about a month and a half. So telling her to 'shut up' isn't exactly helping." Zane looked down in embar*censored*ment, then looked up at Kohaku.

"Please calm down." She shook her head. She was about to do the thing she hated doing, apologize. "We're all on the same track here, but we're different carts. I'm sorry for being snappy. Now everyone needs to calm down, including myself."

"Finally," Kohaku muttered. "But we're still leaving. Calyx, come on." He said again. She shook her head. He let out a low hiss. "Fine, stay with them.  I don't care. Its your death-wish," He said, walking out of the building.

Calyx whimpered. Had she made the right choice?

"Way to cheer up your sister!" Zane said sarcastically right before Kohaku left. "Lend, we need to keep an eye on him. I don't quite trust him." Lend nodded and looked at Calyx.

"I think you made the right choice," Lend said smiling. "So, there anything else you need to tell us?"

"I have no memories of my childhood," Said Calyx quietly. " I have no family left, Kohaku's gone." she added. "Now what will I do?" She asked herself outloud.

Kohaku hissed, Calyx was so hard-headed.

"Consider me your sister," Zane said smiling. "Consider him your brother," she said pointing towards Lend. "Everyone here is like family. We have to be to stick together."

Lend nodded. It seemed like Zane was talking more than him now, and that was saying something.

((epic fail.))

Calyx allowed herself a smile. "Thank you," she said. "This is alot to take in.." She said quietly, giggling slightly. "Vampires and werewolves, who knew?" she let out a sigh.

"At least you're talking! That's a lot better than what I did." Zane laughed.

Lend smiled and walked over to Calyx. "So now you're a believer?" He joked.

"Guess so!" Giggled Calyx. "But....I'm still a little freaked out. How long can a Vampire survive on animal blood?" There was worry in her voice.

"Just as long as if they were drinking human blood." He looked at her and smiled again. "Animal blood isn't as healthy, but it keeps us alive."

Zane looked at Lend and frowned. She held out her arm to show Calyx. "When I was little, I was bitten, but another vampire came by and sucked all of the toxins out so that I wouldn't change. It hurts like crap."

Calyx let out a sigh. "Thanks," she laughed quietly. She tucked her arms and legs in her jacket. "Its freezing in here," She murmered.

"It is pretty cold," Zane said hugging her arms.

Mlle walked through the streets, smelling something that was unfamiliar to her. It was a vampire, but none of the vampires she knew. What she didn't know is that she was hot on the trail of Kohaku. Her nose worked furiously at the air, taking in scent particles. Anyone that didn't know who or what she was, would've dismissed her as some kid smelling a hotdog.
