Nick layed down beside and layed his head in her lap and whimpered in agrement. He curled his body around her to keep her warm and twitched his ears as she talked, catching every word as it fell from her mouth. ((Fail, sorry.))

((Nuuu. Tlditters, dun leave...)) Zane stopped shaking and patted Nick on the head. She was warm. She laughed then and looked at Nick. "That was crazy, but awesome and terrifying," she said. Now she wasn't in shock anymore.

Nick thumped his tail against the ground and stood, thinking it would be better to get Zane somwhere warm, and quick. He nudged her side and took a few steps towards the Rescuer's base. He felt she would be safer there than whith him. And besides, Kuma most likely wouldn't allow Zane into the warehouse again.

Zane got into the base and closed the door behind her. She looked back at Nick and walked away. She walked past Lend and Calyx to her room. She was a bit shaken, but she wasn't sad. She turned her earphones up louder and sat down on her bed, singing the sond softly.

Calyx no longer needed a blanket, for a fur coat that Kohaku had on his back, the same color as his own fur, was warm enough. Not to mention the 100 pounds of pure wolf all over her. Calyx roughly patted her "dog"'s back and he lead her to her room. She pulled on her wolf skin coat happily, jumping up on the bed. To make sure theere were no springs and lumps in the bed, Calyx jumped on it, much like a 3-year-old. Satisfied, Calyx layed down.

Nick sat at the door of the base and waited, knowing he was dead if he went back to the warehouse wihtout giving Kuma time to cool off. He sighed and layed down to sleep. As he drifted off, he felt snowflakes cover his fur until he most likely couldnt be seen .

((Timeskip~)) Zane awoke the next morning, tangled up in her bedsheets. She went through her morning routine: eat breakfast, take a shower, brush teeth, comb hair. She slipped on a beanie hat, a big t-shirt, and some blue jeans. Before she left to go on her morning run, she grabbed her iPod and a thick coat. She opened the door and started running, staying away from the shadow-infested alleyways where the vampires liked to lurk.

Nick woke when Zane come out of the building but stayed hidden under the snow until she was out of site. Then, he stood and pricked his ears, listening for her footsteps before lifting his head and howling to Kuma, telling her where he was and where he was going. He flicked an ear back and set out to find a human to rescue, contemplating joining the Rescuers. Kuma had slept in wolf form as well. She flicked her ears and woke to the sound of Nick's howl then answered with a short song of her own, confirming she had heard and knew where to find him if she needed to.

Zane heard a howl and jogged backwards to find Nick in his wolf form. She glanced at him and nodded before running again. She had her iPod blasting in her ears again. She looved her iPod. She laid down in the snow and just sat there, in plain daylight. She hoped that the vampires weren't feeling daring today. They seemed to be behaving themselves today. She smiled and leaned back against the brick building that she was sitting by.

Nick pricked his ears and followed Zane, feeling protective of her. He didn't go out into the sunshine, though. He stayed back in the shadow's and kept a lookout for vampires. They hung back in the deepest shadows and seemed to behave, for now. Nodding, Nick turned and sprinted back to the warehouse, loving the feeling of the wind as it whistled through his fur. Once in the warehouse, he quickly changed into a human and slipped on some jeans and his dog tags before heading out again in the direction that he left Zane, not even bothering with a coat or shirt. ((Is it ok that he doesn't wear a coat or shirt? My brother does it all the time.))

((It's fine. Zane'll have red cheeks.)) Zane opened her eyes slightly to find Nick near her without a shirt or coat. Her cheeks turned beet red. She sank down in her coat, only her eyes and pink hair visible. "What are you doing?" Her voice was muffled due to her mouth being under her coat. She attempted to make her cheeks turn back to a normal color, but failed.

Nick grinned and sat down beside her. "Coming to hang out with you." He said and leaned back against the wall, laying his arm over her shoulders and glancing up at the sky to watch the clouds float by.

Zane took her earphones out. Her cheeks turned ten shades redder when he put his arm on her. Oh god. She felt sick, but bit back the feeling. The last time she had felt like this is with her old boyfriend. That was when he almost bit her and Lend killed him. She shook off that memory and the sick feeling went away. "Okay, so why come out here with no shirt or jacket on in the freezing cold?"

Nick shrugged. "It doesn't realled bother me." He said and took his arm back to scoop up a handfull of snow then smash it into a ball and gaze around for somthing to hit. His gaze teasingly locked on Zane.

"No, you wouldn't," Zane said, backing away from him, dropping his arm on the snow. She stood up and pointed above him. "If I were to kick the wall, a huge pile of snow would fall from the gutter ontop of you." She smirked, her gaze equally teasing.
