Akiko stared out her window as rain splattered against the
pane of glass. Stretching out her arm
and placing her finger against the glass she began to draw. Soon she had
completed a small rabbit sitting by a tree with small birds in it. Looking
outside she saw a cat sitting on the ground licking it’s paw. Forgetting about
the rain she slipped out of her room and down the stairs grabbing a jacket and
heading outside. Looking for the cat she spotted it still licking its paw.
When Akiko approached the cat it got up and started to walk
away from her. Walking behind the cat Akiko followed it to the center of town
where it darted off after a mouse and she lost track of it. Noticing that no
one was around she frowned wondering why until she realized she was soaked. She
stood in the center of the square chuckling quietly to herself before she spotted
something else that interested her.
