The child seemed to get bored and ran off, leaving Rebecca in the street alone. She watched people from over the school wall and sighed. She had actually gone to a school like that once, but had left after her parent's murder. Come to think of it, wasn't it THIS school?
"Surely having a little look wouldn't do any harm?" she muttered. She preceded to climb the wall. But because she had only six spindly, insect-like forelimbs and no hind legs, she couldn't climb all the way. So she gave up and started to fly instead. Because her wings were just like really oversized dragonfly's wings, they made a soft buzzing sound as she rose into the air. Rebecca looked at some of the people below. If they saw her, the tattoo of a lacewing dragon on her right wing may have given away her identity to some; after all, she had been here before.

For once, Rebecca didn't feel bad in her Lacewing Dragon form. In fact, she rather enjoyed it. She let out a roar that echoed around. And then she giggled.
"This is kinda fun!" she said. "Maybe I should use this form more often!" She circled around in the sky, and roared again. Her transparent wings caught the sunlight.

Rebecca looked down to see that she was being watched.
"Maybe just this once..." she began. "...it would be nice to say hello." So with one flick of her wings sheswooped down and landed awkwardly on the ground near the people who were watching her.
"Hello!" Rebecca said, cheerily. She shifted a little on her six thin forelegs and curled her tail around herself like a snake. "Who might you be?"
