"I might be Robin but I'm not sure ." Robin said "I'm pretty sure I was Robin last time I checked but I might be wrong .Because I don't really have anything that tells me if I am actually Robin except a little note in my pocket but otherwise I don't even have a birth certificate to prove that I am in fact Robin .So maybe I don't even exist because I don't have a birth certificate to prove I was even born .So maybe I'm a robot that has problems because I have feelings and I more than mildy dislike whoever left me at the orphanage when I was a baby .But then again robots don't grow up. So maybe I was born in a lab and I'm really a parentless freck how has problems and was dumped at the orphanage to cover up something or rather that the scientists did." he paused "Umm so I don't know just call me Robin because that's what everyone else calls me." he said looking at Rebecca.

"Oh, my name's Rebecca." rebecca said. "And by the way, I'm not a dragon. I'm a shapeshifter. Watch this!" She quickly began the transformation from Lacewing Dragon to human form. She HAD intended to turn straight from dragon to her cat form, but she thought it would be polite to become human first. Flicking her hair, she smiled.
"Cool, huh?" she asked, smiling.

"No, I'm not a spy or anything. Just a traveler. After all, I have no home to return to any more..." she said, looking downwards. "Sorry if my shapeshifting creeps you out..." Then she looked upwards and smiled.
"But the advantage is that if you can shapeshift into something that flies, you can travel anywhere! There's no limits!" she said, passionately.

"But then you're leaving any friends you've made." Robin said "And if you're always traveling then you'll always be alone or always feel alone. I mean Sure I wish I could travel and see the world and maybe find my birth parents and lecture them on how messed up a kid get's when he knows that his parents dumped him at an orphanage a few weeks after he was born because they didn't want him!" he said his voice slightly angry when he said the last bit.
He looked at the ground "Sorry ." he said "It's just I really am messed up in the head because of them.".

Rebecca looked at him, thoughtfully.
"I never made many friends. Well, I had a boyfriend once, but he leftme. And as for my parents......they were slaughtered by a vampire." she looked down a little. "It's ok. I understand what it's like to have people mess with your life..." She flicked a lock of her brown hair from her face.

"I'm sorry." Robin said "I know it's probably not what you want to hear because I know I hate it when people say it to me. But having someone you deem as close leave you and having both your parents murdered by a vampire is tougher then never knowing your parents." he said.

Rebecca kept silent for a moment. Robin was right, she thought.
"I suppose so..." she said, quietly. And then she started to shapeshift into something else. This time, it was something much smaller than a human...it was a tricoloured cat. She looked up and smiled.
"I usually shapeshift with my emotions, sometimes." she said. "Usually, it's this when I'm thoughtful or sad. But once it was an elephant. Now that...THAT was horrible." She shivered, but giggled at the same time.

Robin looked at her with a slight smile "I hope you're more thoughtful then sad at the moment." He said "And being an elephant must have been awful what I would like to know is what emotion could bring an elephant out." he said.

"Ah, I can' remember what emotion brought out the elephant, I think it may have been anger...or embarassment..." Rebecca said, licking a paw. "I THINK it was embarassment, because I usually turn into the Lacewing Dragon when I'm angry..."

Rebecca laughed a little.
"Thanks." she said. Her tail twitched and she swatted a paw at a passing butterfly. Then she stopped herself.
"Better not." she muttered. "I WAS a butterfly once."

Robin looked up at the sky "I was a butterfly once." He said with a slight laugh as he remembered a play he was in during elementry school "Although later on I turned into a fairy so I guess it doesn't count." he said "Although it being a costume probably doesn't count either.".

"I suppose that doesn't really count." she agreed, smiling. "But I'm sure you did well in the play. I was once in a play. I had to be a cat. Naturally, I didn't need a costume, being a shapeshifter, and I just went like this." She laughed.

"Prince of Faries getting turned into a butterfly, huh?" Rebecca said. "Oh, and thanks." She twitched her tail a little.
"That reminds me..." she said after a moment. "I was in another town once and I shapeshifted, but some kid yelled at me 'Are you a Zorua?' I burst out laughing!" Rebecca giggled a little.
