Tamir was out of the internet cafe, he could still he the screams and gunfire ringing in the air. He ran to his flat, jumping in through the window (he had left his key in the cafe) "Come on, mystery" he said, clicking on the link again "who are you"
Mystery sat back "Two read it, one actually opened the site" she sighed. She sat on the side of the road typing quickly.

Tap tap tap. One loud, and perhaps slightly over exaggerated, sigh later and- no, who was she she kidding. "Christ, this is unbearable," Skylar hissed, kicking back her feet and sinking into her chair. "Just one, one, tiny- freaking minsicule- hint and I'm done, okay! Just one!" She glowered at the letters on her screen, pulled up against the background of yet another arthouse film. "You're Losing your touch Skylar Mortenson," she sighed softly and absent-mindedly tapped her fingers on the edge of her laptop.
Tooth: Mags, check your dash- there's this file I can't open- just a link
She narrowed her eyes at the message before opening up the platform and scrolling through to find the offending link. She scoffed ligthly, "Great, more spam, cheers Tooth, you suck."
Magpie: What of it? It's just one of those spam things. Enter email blah blah Tooth: Wait you got it to open? It's encripted though Magpie: Uh, yeah? Magpie: Oh freaking great, cheers Tooth, it's just sent me an email Magpie: s2g you're fixing my laptop if I get virus
Her eyes scanned over the message briefly, narrowing. "It's just another one of those chains," she sighed.
Magpie: Chain message- doom and gloom etc. Tooth: Um Mags, what email? Magpie: It sent me an email Tooth: yeah HOW? There's nothing to sign up for- Tom managed to get the link working and it was just blank Tooth: There's no way it sent you an email
Skylar paused for a moment. Once again she glanced over at the email. Hesitantly, she clicked the link again and he was right- just a blank page

Mystery smiled slightly "They're not gonna resist for lone" she said, tapping her thingers "Three down, two to go" She smiled, tapping away at her first post again: Welcome, Hackers, bloggers, writers, outlaws. I am a secret, I am the mystery girl. You've been chosen. Once you're chosen, there's no going back. Because you'll be head hunted, broken, tortured maybe. I've chosen you for my war. Because I have been fighting long and soon I'll be gone. Are you ready for a secret. No, you'll have to prove yourself. I've seen your lives and created some tests. I have... connections around the world. Don't be surprised if suddenly your thrown into my games while you're in the bath. They'll be murder, pain but it's all a game. Pass my game and you'll know the secret which will make you the best person, the worst, a freedom fight, a dark knight and the white wizards of the world people need. Mystery.
Tamir sighed, typing fast.
That's it mystery, you've got a lot of explaining to do. I just got into a major shooting because of your email, you're lucky I smashed the memory on that computer before they got to me. ~Tami
Mystery sighed, tapping her fingers angrily against her laptop. this isn't a chatting sight, let me explain. Not every one gets here, you've already been tested. Now you know what I'm doing, let me tell you what YOU'VE got to do. Just give the others time.

Skylar narrowed her eyes at the post. "What the hell, Mystery Girl," she muttered, "what is this 'thrown into my games?' What darn games, the Hunger Games?" She leant back and sighed softly, hair draping over the left side of her face. With a huff of annoyance, she flicked her hair with a sharp movement of her head and-
what
what was that?
Skylar leapt to her feet with a shriek, snatching up her laptop. Just in time too, for where she was standing had been riddled with the tell-tale hole of bullets. "Snipers- snipers?" For a moment, fear seized her but she shook it off in favour of running out her room, hearing the sharp ping of a sniper round. The teen skidded around the corner of her upstairs corridor and peered carefully out the window. "Oh no," she whimpered just as the timed device smashed through her window
00:00:20
Skylar practically threw herself at the stair bannister, grabbing her phone and clumsily snatching up whatever was nearest before hurling herself through the small door that led to the basement and bolting it shut. Only one more flight of stairs and- The shockwave managed to pass through the entire house, forcing Skylar forwards and she landed in a crumpled heap on the basement floor.
Magpie: Tooth Magpie: Tooth please I'm scared Tooth: Oh God Mags I just decoded that file- like properly Magpie: It's not a joke Tooth I just got attacked Magpie: You gotta get out, okay? Magpie: Now Magpie: Just go Tooth: Oh my God
A sob escaped Skylar's lips quickly covered by a hiss. "Nothing's broken," she murmured and hauled herself upright, coughing as thick black smoke lazily rolled into the room. "Gotta get out."

Mystery sat down, tapping her finger against the table. She smirked slightly checking her email. All done Timelock, first procedure. ~Drake
She smiled. Tami had got hit first and now Magpie, she needed the others to go through it. If Magpie had survived, she would have to assert the next challenges. Perhaps a little bit of an... accident would help them on their way. She sent one word to Drake and smirked. It's started.

((ooc: das kay, I'm on a plane in about 5 hours so I'll be away for a bit ehe o3o))
Skylar hissed in pain and surveyed the damage to her leg. "Well, not broken, sure, not in pain, heck no," she muttered. Blindly, she felt along the wall of the basement, choking on the smoke that was starting to dominate the entire room and burn her lungs. "Come on come on come on," she wheezed and barked out a laugh of relief when her fingers grazed over the latch of the trapdoor (well, that's what she liked to call it) that let outside. Fumbling clumsily, she grasped her phone and attempted to use what little light it could offer to find her laptop again. With a wince, Skylar shoved the laptop into a nearby backpack (thank you very much mother messiness does come in handy) and with shaking fingers unclasped the hatch. "Please," she wheezed. Her vision was fading at the edges and a dull orange glow coupled with an intense heat that swamped her senses were a clear indication that the fire was spreading. With a strangled gasp, she pushed the doors open and gulped in deep wheezing breaths before hauling her way up the small ladder and sprawling out onto a blackened garden. She sobbed for a moment, broken and small.
Magpie: Tooth Magpie: Please tell me you got out Magpie: Come on buddy Magpie: Please
"Please," she whimpered. Yes, she was going to lie here; no, she did not care that she was going to die. "You have to get up," Skylar moaned. "Come on, you have to do it." bleep
Tooth: Mags holy crap holy crap I need you Tooth: I'm alive (somehow) and I'm stuck for once Tooth: It's like 3am here and I'm pretty sure these guys are tailing me Tooth: I'm sticking to crowds here but Tooth: I'm gunna run out of options kid
Skylar closed her eyes and let out one long sigh before dragging herself upright, her injured leg screaming in protest.
Magpie: I'm here
