(( Xrya could be the healer. Unless of course there is somebody that really wants to have the healer position. And I know exactly what you mean by a Warriors. I have read the books and when I saw the position of healer the medicine cats were the first thing I thought of ))

(Fwoops. Didn't see that crush. -scrambles off to update- And Kupa. No question is dumb. But Healer would count as important, yes. And Dragon, the only thing that's different between a medicine cat and healer is that healers can have mates. c; And I'll change Xyra to a Healer, if that's all right. If it is, we can start now if you all want to.)

(I'll start~)
Conri's eyes opened a crack and soon shut tight once more as the sun's rays found its way into his den. He flexed his paws and then slowly began to stretch every other part of his body. He opened his eyes once more and rose to his feet, shaking his fur out. Another day, another morning. But this was not just any ordinary day - oh, no. This was the first day of mating season. Perhaps this time around he'd find a mate. Quietly padding out of his den, the grayish colored wolf gazed up at the clear, bright blue sky. The bright giant orb that hung in its midst was the sun. Its heat felt nice on Conri's fur and he gladly welcomed the sun's spring greeting. As his watchful eyes swept across the camp, he realized not too many members of his pack were up yet. Though they probably would be soon. His tail swished and he laid down in front of his den in a nice sunny spot to bask in. Ah, the warmth just felt so good. --- He was awake, but he didn't want to get up. Riker opened one eye to look around the camp and saw that his alpha was up now. He quickly shut his eye once more and willed himself to go back to his restful, peaceful sleep, though he knew that it would never come back. His attempts were futile. With a sigh, the wolf got up to go do his duties. He loved his pack, sure; but everyone enjoys their beauty sleep, too. --- Alesa was awake already. She was always an early bird, always catching the worm. And that 'worm' was none other than Grissom, the totally cute Beta of Desolei Pack. She always made sure she would coat herself in water so her scent was disguised, then she would watch him sleep. Ok... perhaps that was really stalker-ish. But it didn't happen every day, only once in a while. Plus, he was just so freaking cute when he slept. The rise and fall of his chest, his striking beauty that was so similar to her own fur and eyes. Spotting some of the Desolei wolves waking up, Alesa's quick feet brought her to the safe shelter of the woods, where she then returned to her own camp in Miroan Pack's territory. She shook her fur free of the final water droplets and plopped herself down in the middle of the camp, enveloping herself in her own Grissom-themed daydreams.

Lanya opened her eyes and stretched out on the ground. Already, some of the wolves were awake and she felt that she should probably follow in their pawsteps. She stood, shook herself off, and started off in search of prey. Her stomach growled and she quickly found a small mouse near a tree. Lanya set off in search of a good place to eat the small morsel. She soon found her paws taking her to a small clearing near the edge of a stream, a place that was very farmiliar to her. This was where she normally came to just get away from the other wolves and have some time to think. The first thought that ran through her mind was of mating season. She had almost forgotton that today was the beginning of it, which meant she actually had things to do. The number one priority was to her pack, but closely following it was Grissom. He was her complete opposite: The Beta wold of the Desolei pack, while she was Beta of Miroan. Yet, even though it was forbidden, she found herself always thinking about him, wanting him to be there with her in the morning when she woke up... She growled at nothing in particular and flicked the half-eaten mouse away with a paw. I shouldn't be torturing myself with fantisies like this... it isn't normal! Lanya quickly stood again and shook as if to rid herself of the tormenting thoughts. She tried her best to make herself fall in love with a member of her own pack, one that she could be seen with, one that could actually love her back. And no matter how hard she tried, it wouldn't work. Quickly turning back towards the area that both packs roamed, she made up her mind to see how things went with Grissom, and if it didn't work, then it didn't work. There was nothing she could do about it... --------------------------------- Zaylek awoke with a jolt, his first thought being of Sabeline. The beautiful brown she-wolf was the love of his life and he had been counting down the days until mating season. "This year, I'll really impress her." He said aloud, glancing around to make sure no one had heard it. He loved her as much as his own life, but she probably didn't even know he existed. This, however, didn't dampen his spirits. He just rose to the challenge and tried even harder to make her love him as much as he did her. After standing and shaking himself off, he started walking swiftly into the woods, searching for Sabeline. ((Kupala, just read your post, haha...)) Soon enough her stumbled into they area where her and her brother were sitting. He tripped over a fallen branch and barely managed to catch himself. "Oh, hey guys!" He said in a surprisingly high pitched voice. He cleared his throat, "I mean, hey! I was just... looking for some other wolves to talk to." He looked away shyly. ((Oh Zaylek, such a goof...))

Grissom sat up, then stretched out. He was still tired. But it's morning, so deal with it. He thought to himself. He yawned, then padded out of his den. His gray-green eyes scanned the camp as he looked to see if there was anything going on, or anyone he wanted to talk to. Nope. Just another morning, I guess. He padded out of the camp. After all, there was nothing to be done there. He walked for a while in the woods. There were mountains off in the distance. He recalled that when he had been younger, he'd wanted to climb it someday. He considered it, but decided not to. He would save it for a better day. A more important one. The mountains were beyond the territory of either of the packs, and to get to them he knew he would have to go through a place he'd ran from a year ago, before he joined Desolei Pack. He didn't want to go there. He didn't want to relive those memories. He turned away from the mountains. To the left was toward Miroan Pack's territory, and to the right was even farther into Desolei Pack's territory. He turned to the right, and began walking. --- "Maxis?" Sabeline padded toward her half-brother, who was eating a rabbit. "Would you mind sharing a little bit of that...?" She laid her ears back when Maxis snarled at her, his reddish-brown eyes narrowed and clearly showing his annoyance. "Hunt something yourself!" Maxis snapped. "I can't!" Sabeline said. She had a bite in her left back leg, which was extremely sore. Maxis had been the one who had done it to her. (Sorry for the fail intro on Sabeline and Maxis.)

Prying her eyes open from her slumber, a hidden yawn made its way out. Her amber eyes looked around and she soon pushed herself up to venture on in this new day. Not only was it a new day, but it was the first day of mating season. Great, what fun. Mae thought to herself as she looked Conri. Muscles thoughout her face started moving, and she caught herself smiling right at Conri.
- Rolling and moving trying to get into a comfortable position, Aero had given up on trying to fall back asleep. Morning had wiggled its way into his eyes and he was now awake. Pushing through the dust and grass around him, he worked his way into the light and stretched the night away. Spotting one of the wolves in the camp, Alesa, he thought about making his way over to her. Instead, he stayed where he was and just nodded his head away from her.

Sabeline smiled, just a little bit. "Oh." She said. "I actually was about to go hunting, but you could talk to Maxis..." She offered, her smile fading as she heard Maxis muttering a rude comment under his breath, before turning back to the rabbit that he had refused to share. She turned back to Zaylek. "I'll talk to you later though, okay?" She stood up, and did her best to hide her limping as she padded away into the woods. She already knew where she was going, but it wasn't going to be hunting. She couldn't catch anything with her leg so sore, but there was a place she liked to go to in her free time. It was a long walk from the camp, but in her opinion, it was worth it. Maxis looked at Zaylek with a look on his face that said; You're not actually going to try and talk to me, right...? Maxis could care less about other wolves.

(( Writing powers activate! ))
The feeling was lovely. The wind was cool, clean, and comforting. It softly sifted through Xyra's feathers. She weighed nothing as she flow over a forest, a sea of complicated shades of emerald. Then there was a lake beneath her. An expanse of sapphire. Her senses began to fade, and she became aware of her own weight. Sounds quickly slid into her hearing, and her sleep laden eyes reluctantly opened. Light invaded her vision and Xyra squinted in an attempt to fend off the onslaught. Rolling over she caught many pleasant scents. The warm, homely scent of dirt, the soft sweet scent of rose petals, which she liked to keep near places she slept. Xyra crawled out from underneath the roots of her tree. Herbs hung from the branches, kept in place with globs of tree sap. She had heard that long ago, the humans who used to live here dried their herbs in a similar manner to preserve them. And for the most part it worked pretty well for Xyra. Except for when she somehow managed to get the sap between her toes. Her den was somewhat farther away from her pack members.
Xyra arched in a deep and satisfying stretch. A slight uneasiness in her stomach, neither pleasant nor unpleasant, told her that mating season had arrived. Not like she payed it much attention though. The stream was near Xyra's tree as she leisurely loped to the promise of water. Sticking her snout into the cool, fresh liquid, she used her tongue to guide it down her throat. Raising her head, shaking it back and forth spraying water around, she walked back to the pack. Before long the others were within sight.
(( I have a question, do the herbal remedies have to be realistic, as in that would actually fix a cold, or can I just take existing herbs and make up cures for them? ))
