Lanya snarled loudly but didn't go after her. Grissom needed help and Lanya wasn't about to leave him here to go off and chase around a random loner. She crouched down and started to clean his neck wound. If only things were like this all the time.... She zoned out a little but snapped back to reality when she finally understood what Iveria had meant. The Desolei wolves would obviously think that she had bitten Grissom's neck and he wasn't awake to tell them what had really happened. They would attack first, and Lanya knew she couldn't stand up to a whole patrol on her own. And when Grissom woke up to tell them what happenned... well, it would be too late. Lanya stood to run, but quickly crouched back down to continue cleaning the wound. She still couldn't just leave him here to save herself. She would just have to wait for the wolves to come, and hope that Grssom woke before they did.

(Accepted. I hope you find a pic soon.)
Conri sighed and turned away from his packmate after a while, then his ears tuned into a scream from the forest. No, it wasn't a scream; more like a very loud yell, though he didn't recognize the voice. Which meant there was an intruder of some sort. A low growl escaped his throat and he started towards the exit of the camp. "Amanu, Cambria - come with me. Now. Kieme, keep watch on camp while we're gone. We have some business to deal with," he said quickly, yet with an authorative voice. Amanu trotted over with his head held high, as always. He was so cocky and show-offish in the way he presented himself sometimes, but that was just him. You have to show the ladies what they're missing, eh? Following suit behind his Alpha, he couldn't help but notice what other name was called - Cambria's. She sure was pretty. Even though she was the Beta's little sister, that wasn't going to stop Amanu. All it meant was that maybe she'd be a bit harder to get to because of all that protective sibling crap. But dang... She was amazing. (Lol Amanu's perspective is so much fun to write about XD )

Cambria nodded, and followed, walking beside Amanu. (I'll describe her, since I don't have a picture yet.) Her fur was silver and white, with dark gray and black around her eyes, on her back, and on her front paws. Her eyes were light brown, and she was smaller than most wolves. She had been the runt of her and Grissom's litter, and her other siblings had all died or left the pack long ago. Wait a minute, why is Kieme watching the camp? That's Grissom's job, and....Where is Grissom!? She looked over to Conri with fear in her eyes. "Where is Grissom...?"

Conri gritted his teeth and replied, "That's what I'm also worried about." He had noticed it as soon as he had looked around camp for someone to guard it - his right paw man was nowhere to be seen. "I hope our... visitor" - he said the word venomously - "isn't involved with his disappearance from camp this morning." The thoughts attacked his mind; thoughts of worry, thoughts of possible outcomes, thoughts of ways to attack the intruder... Conri pushed them off. He didn't need them clouding up everything.
Amanu brushed up against Cambria. "Sooo, hi there," he said smoothly.

Kieme flinched. She shoudn't have to guard the camp, that was quite obviously Grissom's job. Where was he? The Beta Male was the last wolf Kieme would expect to go missing, and who had the strange voice belonged to? Just more questions that no one could answer. Typical.
Kieme watched Amanu walk off, curiosity pricking at her. She'd always been a little curious about the flirty young male, though she had absolutely no clue why. If anything it was funny to watch his actions, though he never bugged Kieme much. For some reason that bothered her a little. Maybe she just found him funny, it was hard to explain her feelings toward him. She glanced down at her white pelt, and gave it a few quick licks., realizing that she hadn't taken much time to groom this morning, and at the rate things were going, a few licks were all she would be able to get in.
((Kieme likes Amanu a little, I'll add that to her Bio.))

Felnar shot up, fur ruffled but bristling in alarm. Something had woken him quite suddenly, and it wasn't the stinging of his shoulder, which was bleeding again. He had heard something, he was sure of it. That's what had disturbed him, he was sure. It was now that he realized just how close he was to the Desolei Pack border. Had the shout/scream/ yelling sound thingie come from their side of the border?
Felnar relaxed a little, but still stood with his ears pricked and alert. There was something, or someone out there, and there was no way he was going to let his guard down again. The forest seemed to have frozen, Felnar heard nothing, and saw nothing. He was alone.

Iveria slowed down after she crossed the border into Miroan territory. She would have to be more alert this time: and more careful. She'd done enough fighting for the day, and she needed to rest. I should probably get all this blood off my face, so I at least don't look like a murderer. She looked around for a stream, river, lake, or pond. Anything would work. But if she walked around with all this blood on her face, she would probably be automatically assumed as a threat and attacked. After walking for a while, the silver and white wolf could see a stream up ahead. She sighed and padded over to it, and dunked her head and neck underneath the water for a few seconds. She lifted her head out of the water, and gasped for breath for a while before looking at her reflection on the water's surface. Most of the blood on her face was gone. Her neck was bleeding, still, but not nearly as badly as it had been. She was covered in scars, most of them from wolves who she had eventually killed. She had killed so many wolves. She was a monster. And now, she knew it. Iveria let herself fall to the ground, and she suddenly began crying. What have I done?
----
"Um..." Cambria was a little suprised by Amanu. "Hello." She continued walking alongside him, but she froze in her footsteps. They must be close to whatever had happened. She could smell blood. She remembered what the scream had said: Don't interfere! She wondered what that meant, and she wasn't sure she wanted to know.

Felnar flinched, but crouched down. He could... hear someone. Again. Why did things keep repeating? Confusion settled like fog over his brain. Nothing made sense anymore. He felt different, like nobody cared about him, yet at the same time he knew he had a pack to run. Run. That was a good word. He sure as heck wanted to run, to get away from all of his problems, not to mention his miserable little existence. Well, maybe not miserable, more like pathetic, lonely... yeah, he was miserable if he was thinking like that.
Felnar attempted to growl, but the sound faded in his throat and turned into a whimper. His shoulder hurt, his Beta had deserted the pack, he had failed at a hunt, Miroan's members were trying to murder each other. His eyes stung as hot tears welled up in them. Lanya had been right, he didn't deserve to be a leader. He was hardly any good at giving directions, and his pack was starting to fall apart under his watch. No, it had already fallen apart. Once again the breeze stirred Felnar's ragged pelt, reminding him that he couldn't sit here forever. He had to keep living one way or another.
Felnar was certain now that what he was hearing were the sobs of another wolf. Maybe someone else that understood what he was going through.
He didn't care anymore, he might be walking right into a trap, but he didn't care. Felnar slipped forward, slinking towards the sound of the voice, with his tail curled underneath him and his ears flat against his head in defeat.
He would normally have been shocked and angry at what he saw, a pale colored she-wolf sitting on the bank of a river in his territory crying. He stepped forward to reveal himself, but he never got the chance. His shoulder brushed against a thorn, and pain exploded in it. He yelped and slipped back down to the leaf-strewn river bank with his eyes shut. There was no point in getting up. He had nothing to look forward to, and nothing to go back to. He didn't even care to think whether or not this strange she-wolf was friendly or not. He just didn't have room left in his fried brain to care.

Iveria looked up when she heard someone yelp. She took a moment to realize where the sound had came from. She could see a gray and white wolf, not very far away. She could see a bite in his shoulder, and she padded over to him slowly. She was aware that he could kill her. If he wanted to. I would deserve it anyway. She stopped a couple of feet in front of him, and was silent for a few seconds. She tried to think of what to say. She thought about just telling him to do her a favor and kill her. No. She wasn't going to give up. Not yet. Maybe she could change. Maybe she could become a better wolf. She turned to the wolf with the injured shoulder. "I'm sorry for trespassing, sir, but I honestly don't know where I am, or whose territory this is." That was the truth. She didn't know where she was. Just that she wasn't supposed to be here.
She paused, and looked at his shoulder. "And...you look like you could use some help with your shoulder." She was still crying. Just not as loud as before. At this point there were simply tears running down her face, but she wasn't sobbing or anything. She hoped the wolf wouldn't turn on her. If he did, she wasn't going to fight back.

Felnar whimpered again, he couldn't help it, his shoulder hurt and he felt lightheaded. "Never mind about trespassing, if you're worried about a fight you'll probably only have to worry about one or two adversaries at the most, Miroan is no threat to you anymore. Neither am I," he finished, throwing away almost all of his pride as he did so. "Help me if you want, but it's not like that'll do you any good, you might as well leave me here. You're a loner, most of you only help if there's something in it for you, and trust me, there's no reward for helping me. If you ever meet a wolf called Lanya, tell her Felnar said thanks."
The Alpha shrank back, this she-wolf might decide to help him, but he wasn't looking for her to. Why would she? The only reason he could think of was that she might help him for a potential reward because he was the Alpha. But there was no way she could know that, and he didn't plan on telling her yet. That was his last, defiant though before he blacked out.

(Oops, sorry. Here.)
Sabeline looked up at Zaylek. "Thanks." She said. She was exhausted from the fight. "For standing up to Maxis for me." She lifted her head up for a second, and licked his cheek. If it hadn't been for him today, Maxis would've killed me. Well, sooner or later, anyway. She couldn't believe that someone had actually risked their life to save hers.
She remembered that just this morning, she had denied that she loved him, and had convinced herself that she wasn't. Clearly she was wrong. But the thoughts still remained. Get a grip, Sabeline, unless you want to cry your heart out.

Conri whipped his head around as he saw a patch of pitch black fur that clearly belonged to his Beta and another patch of unfamiliar colored fur. His lips pulled back in a snarl, revealing his sharp, white teeth. He sprang forward and bowled over the blackish colored wolf laying over Grissom and pinned her down. He let himself glance back at Grissom and saw a bite mark on his neck. "Did YOU do this to my Beta?!" Conri snarled. "Stupid TRESPASSER! MURDERER!" The gray wolf was about to go for her throat, when he felt something wet on the top of his head. Just a little spot of wet. He looked up to the sky and noticed how dark it was. "What the...?"
Amanu ran after his Alpha, momentarily forgetting about Cambria. He looked up to where Conri's gaze was. "I wonder how it got so dark so fast... It's like it's going to rain. But on the first day of mating season?" He was basically speaking to himself by the end. "Wow, I never expected this.." he then felt a wet sensation on his muzzle and for a second was cross-eyed. What he witnessed was a speck of white dissolving into his fur. "OH MY GOSH, IT'S SNOWING!" "It's what?" Conri muttered. "Impossible..." He got off of the she-wolf. "You... Don't come back. Leave now or I will hurt you," he told her menacingly before seeing specks of white appear on Grissom's coat. "Wow. It really is snowing... Amanu, this is not right." He padded over to his Beta and slung him over his body. He was still alive, but unconcious. Hopefully Xyra would be available. "Let's get back to camp." The snow was coming down in greater quantity already by now, and Conri's face was scrunched up in confusion. This was not right. --- Meanwhile, Alesa had noticed the specks of white back at Miroan Pack's camp. It began to come down and down and down... and it wasn't letting up. "Snow...? What is going on? Am I hallucinating or something?" The white was evident upon her darkly colored fur and she was greatly confused about it all. It was mating season! A time of love and flowers and beautiful weather. Alesa knew enough to know that this was not the time of year that snow was supposed to be pouring down now. It wasn't long before there was a thin blanket of it on the camp floor. Fenris looked up at the sky and winced as she felt a speck of snow get in her eye. She turned to Maxis and asked, "What is going on?"

Maxis shook his head, seeing the snow as well as a few snowflakes landed on his face and back. "It's snowing..." He breathed. "...It's alright, Fenris, it shouldn't last long. After all, it's spring. It should be warm enough to melt the snow."
---
Iveria gasped as the wolf blacked out. She looked around for a while, trying to figure out what to do. Then she noticed the snow, falling onto the coat of the injured wolf and her own. I can't leave him here, he'll either freeze to death or bleed to death, or someone will come out here to finish him off. She grabbed the unconcious wolf by the scruff of his neck, and tried to pull him away from the riverbank. She wasn't strong enough. She growled in frustration, and looked around.
There was a ledge on the side of the riverbank, and she padded over to it. She started digging a hole into the side of it as quickly as she could. When she was finished, it wasn't much of a hole. Just a dent in the ledge, but big enough for a wolf to fit in without getting any snow on them.
She padded back over to the wolf. She never had learned his name. The hole was only three or four feet away, so she managed to drag the wolf over to it. So hopefully he wouldn't be buried alive if the snow continued. She saw moss along the riverbank, and knew that it was what worked to help stop bleeding. She pulled it off the ground, and placed it on the wolf's injured shoulder. Then she sat down outside, and watched the snow as it fell.
--- Cambria looked up at the sky. "It's beautiful." She whispered. Personally, she loved the snow, and she followed Conri, but kept her attention on the snow. She didn't worry about Grissom, and assumed he'd be alright. He was strong enough to heal from it, right?

Kieme stared in wonder at the dusting of snow coating the denning area. Snow? On the first day of mating season? She shook her head. This wasn't even close to weird, this was past it. Kieme trotted off, heading for the small tree where her den was located. Where were the others, where was Grissom? She crawled under the shrub as these thoughts drifted through her head. Once underneath she curled up in a ball with her tail over her nose, her thinning winter coat not keeping her warm. She shivered. What the heck was going on?
---
Felnar stirred slightly at the touch of cold air, but he didn't wake. He felt oddly cold yet comfortable. Strange. But at least he wasn't dead.

Lanya stood up and walked after the wolf that had bowled her over. She wasn't going to leave until she knew that Grissom would be okay, or they killed her. For the first time she noticed that it was... SNOWING! The beautiful white flakes drifted down to land on the forest. She was a little scared that it would be snowing on the first day of mating season, but it was alright by her. Lanya had always winter better than any of the other seasons anyway. She went up right next to the wolf who was carrying Grissom, "I'm not leaving until Grissom wakes up, and until then, you deserve to be told what really happened, even if you don't believe me. There was a loner, Iveria I think, and I walked up just as she made him black out. I attacked her and she left, but not before biting his neck. She wanted you guys to think it was me, but I swear it wasn't." She trailed off as she gazed at Grissom, the love of her life. "I stayed to help until you guys got here. And, before you start asking why I'm in your territory, I'm a loner now. Miroan pack is only going downhill... There was a fight today between some of the wolves, one was almost killed. And Felnar is an incompetent Alpha."

Conri growled. "I'm not sure if that's true or not and I don't care about Miroan. But I know I don't trust you and I don't really know you and I want you gone. Leave. You have nothing to do with Grissom. If you don't leave peacefully, I will have my packmates execute you or I will do it myself," he told her angrily. "Buzz off, wolf!" he snarled. The snow was coming down even harder now and a wind had begun to wind its way into the mix. Oh, joy.

Lanya growled, "Execution is fine with me! I chose to stay here and help one of your pack mates. Without me, he would have been dead! Are you really so quick to kill me?" She continued walking with him, "As I said before, I'm not leaving unti lhe wakes up. I didn't save him just to see him die anyways! I'll hunt, or do anything to just make sure hes alright. If you don't let me stay until he wakes up, then you'll have to kill me." the snow was soaking her fur, but she didn't care. ((Its okay, mine is too. Theres only so much to say...))
