"Good food? Feed yourself any more and you'll split the seams of your shirt. And I absolutely hate sewing things together with my power unless it's for myself, or needed."

She said this jokingly, of course, and smiled at him to lessen the sting of her retort. "What ever. Besides, when was the last time you actually cooked?" she asked pointedly. "Considering that you just mentioned the cooks never actually let you help in the kitchen."

Scratching the scar on her neck thoughtfully, she shot Akira a glare. "And don't even mention the words 'Cooking channel'. I will bite your head off."

"I don't know why we don't just get groceries delivered," Cyrus grumbled quietly. Had he ever thought to look into it before? He was the on ein charge, if it was anyones fault then it was entirely his own. He shook off the thought. He'd definitely see later if they could just do that, having to go there every week for a ton of food was just ridiculous. But he wasn't above doing menial chores to keep the place running.
"Well, I guess we don't have much of a choice at the moment. I'll go pick up groceries. Do either of you want to tag along?"
He.. really hoped they did, because it'd be torture to carry all of that back by himself. Then again, there were plenty of other people he could enlist to do grocery duty.

Tori's hand immediately shot up. "Me! I wanna go out!" She sang, only to have her hand grabbed and pinned to her side. "No!" Levi growled. "You're going to do something stupid again, like enter us inside another lottery." Tori rolled her eyes. "No I won't." She lied. Levi sighed. "Cyrus... if anything happens, it's your fault." He said, shrugging and returning to the dingy table. "Besides, someone needs to look after this place while you're gone."

Akira shrugged. "Sometimes I actually stay up until midnight, then sneak into a kitchen for a midnight snack. And by snack, I mean steak." He grinned. Lucretia rolled her eyes. "That's probably why the second floor stinks in the morning." She murmured, folding her arms. 

"That was that burning smell I scented last night?" Wynter asked incredulously. "You mean I thought that the house was on fire for nothing? Or was there actually any flame?" Crossing her arms with a sigh she tapped her foot angrily. "There probably won’t be any kitchen left,” she teased, though her voice held an underlying mutter to it.

Cyrus grinned in response to Levi's words.
"So harsh. I won't let anything go wrong, don't worry," he replied. His second-in-command was never someone you'd describe as easy-going. But it was better that way. He knew that Levi was someone who he could rely on- which he needed quite a bit.
"It's just grocery shopping."

It didn't matter how much he re*censored*ured Levi, of course. He'd just have to keep an eye on Tori and keep her from doing.. anything.. Or, if anything did happen, he could just conveniently neglect to report it back to anyone else and just quietly deal with it on his own. If no one knew about it, no one would get hurt.
"Well, Tori, let's go. The others will probably be pretty angry if everyone wakes up to find that there's no breakfast cooking," he announced, heading off towards the front door to fetch his jacket and wallet.
