Nova looked around the alleyway, noticing that the light was
quickly fading, leaving them with little shadows to hide in. The stench from
the trash cans and the dumpster was starting to burn his nose. It felt like
there was smelly fire in his nostrils. He covered his nose with his hand, the
sleeve to his jacket barely filtering the smell. It didn’t change anything a
lot. It was still burning at his nose. He started to breathe less often, trying
to keep the stench from his nose. It was making his eyes water. He hated being
in the allies, but they did keep the villagers from seeing them and beating
them. He shivered at the memories but he didn’t really care all that much so

When Aria dragged his over to the mouth of the alley, Nova
jumped. He was startled slightly, but only from not paying attention. He peeked
out of the alley and saw there were very little 
shadows left.  Maybe a couple here
and there, but not many. They should surely be spotted before they even tried
to get out of the alley. Nova thought hard. He wanted to see the tree, wanted
to see the whole thing really. Maybe they could pretend to be beggars or something.
Then again, there weren’t many here because everybody pretty much had the same
amount of money and goods. He reached into his pocket and took out a large
piece of cloth. “I could always pretend to be blind. And we could tie your hair
back with the cloth and they won’t really remove your hood since it is hot
outside.” He offered his option, unsure as to whether it would even work. He
shrugged. “It would be harder to spot your hair once it’s nice and tied back
tight. I can even take you to a human I really trust. She doesn’t judge people.
She gave me those photos and the sketch book.” He smiled sweetly.

Ryu thought that the mornign had dragged on far too long. It was bugging him that he had just met this girl and he had done nothing but argue with her and show her a side of him he had hoped to keep dormant for a far longer time. He hissed to himself, not likign how this day was turnign out, at least teh start of it. He rubbed his hand over hsi face, rubbing a bit harder than he should, but he didn't care. He was frustrated, more with himself than anybody else in this room. He didn't know what to do right now. She was sitting on the bed and he obviously had been havign terrible mood swings that would jump far too much from one extreme to the other. He sighed into his hands, not loud enough to make a noise, but enough to where it was a sigh, not just a breath of air. He looked through his finegrs and looked toward Rue, unsure of what to do and it showed. He ran his hands through his snowy mane and mused the spikes until they fell from their spikes and fell flat against his head. Theys tuck out a bit, but not as much as before.

He looekd at Rue again, unsure of what to do. He rubbed his hand together just so he was messing with something. He looked at her again and walked over, steady and uneasy in a way. He stopped when he was at arm's length from her. He pat her head gently,. unsure if that was even welcome right now, with how their morning had gone. He looked at the top of her head before he spoked. He cleared his throat a little and opened his mouth before he shut it. "Ya know.. I offered you to bather earlier. I don't mean that offensively! But if you still wanted it, the offer is still there and I don't want you to feel uncomfortab;e while you're here. For however long that is." He smiled at her, an uneasy smile, but it was genuine.
