Outside the human mind, is reality. But no one likes it, so lets go back to the human mind. It's complex, confusing, and altogether one huge cipher that nobody can crack. Except, if you happen to be Silent. Studying for nineteen years on the human mind, he finally cracks it, only to find that it's more dangerous than an average human can handle. But the government want's his success and his work and they'll stop at nothing to get it. Desperate to keep his discovery hidden, he hooks up with the ten most ordinary people to the human eye. But inside, their minds are so complex, it's beyond human. Because their not humans. Their what we call, 'fantasy creatures' in reality. Each having a special mark identical to the one that Silent naturally has on the back of his right shoulder. Before the government finds Silent and his chosen creatures, they have to escape to the place where no one can touch them and where no one can find them. To the very stronghold of the world. The very heart of the earth. The brains of the world above. Keyword, above. Hidden thousands of miles below your feet, lie an ancient and hidden civilization called the Cyphers. The one creature that managed to crack the human mind before the actual humans. But in order to get to them, Silent and his chosen companions have to skirt the government, fool the military, find the entrance to the civilization, and travel a thousand miles below the earth, without getting lost and dying in the thousands of tunnels that the Cypher's created.

Cyphers

Cyphers are amazing creatures. On the outside, they look human with intelligent and wise eyes. But on the inside, Cypher's are beyond the word fickle word intelligent and have special and complex insides. their bone structures are so dense, that they are harder than a diamond, but lighter than a feather. They have simple organs, like a human, that are so advanced that no toxin or venom could penetrate even their mouth. Their bodies tend to be slim and seem wiry, but in truth, their strength is beyond our word, strong. Cyphers also have their own language. As you might of guessed, that is where they gained their names. Cyphers. Because no human or creature besides Silent knows how to speak and understand their language. Cypher's are quiet beings and they live in the underground civilization called Agaroth. Each Cypher is born with a special mark on his right or left temple. Twins being born is rare among Cyphers. Cypher's also, you could say, immortal. They can suffer the same physical damage as a human, but live through the pain. Their bodies heal three times faster than humans. So basically, if you inflicted a death wound upon a Cypher, it wouldn't kill them. they would feel the sever pain, but not die from it. They can relate to animals and yet they are omnivores. They are lithe and agile and extremely fast. They are skileld in hunting and eluding the eyes and blending in, almost seeming to become invisible.

 And Yes. I JUST created them.

Riven Fidell is an odd one at times. He can be unnaturally smarter than a Cypher and yet he can pretend that he's dumber than a human. He tends to space out and when he comes back, the oddest things come out of his mouth. You can find him looking at pictures of the sea or drawing. He writes amazing stories and draws beautiful pictures. But no one knows why.
