Jakio laughed and shook his head "you hang out with her?" he asked as he turned back at Alik. Alik smiled "i talk to her,but if i were like you she would be long gone." he said with a small laugh.

Demyan continued to walk over to her and froze as the area began to turn light. He turned around, his eyes and everything about him frantic as he saw the horizon become lighter and lighter. He tried to run and his eyes went wide when he felt his energy become close to gone. He looked around and hid behind a tree a few feet away from Drakine closing his eyes tight as he hid behind it.

Jakio was about to take another swigg from his bottle when he saw dawn approaching. "oh sh!t..here come with me" he said as he grabbed Alik's hand and ran towards a dark cave. They made it just in time and Jakio sat down once more with a sigh. Alik wanted badly to go out and make sure that his brother was okay and somewhere inside away from the sun but it was too late to go out now he had to wait till sundown once again.

Drakine watched Demyan become fantic and a sigh of relief washed over her. Dawn was here. Fi-na-lly. With a pained grimace, Drakine rose to her feet and called her raven friend out of the tree. Riiva landed lightly on the girl's right shoulder and lightly nibbled Drakine's earlobe. With a smile, Drakine managed to get over to a tree close to her. Another grimace etched itself onto her face as she climed up the trunk. The movement hurt her ribs. Getting onto the first branch, she sat with her back against the trunk and sighed. Rubbing her eyes, she glanced at the tree that Demyan was hiding behind. A snicker pas-sed from her lips, but she kept her thought to herself.

Drakine shrugged the shoulder that didn't have raven perched on it. "Not making fun, bloodsucker," she said casually as she leaned her head against the trunk. She closed her black eyes.

Demyan growled and cursed himself as he hit his head against the tree on purpose before bringing his knees up to himself and hiding his face in his knees. "it's not fair.." he mumbled to himself.

Alik sighed and sat down next to Jakio. He was exhausted, he closed his eyes and found himself in his own little world, where he could live as long as he wished and hunted whatever he felt like.

Within seconds of closing her eyes, Drakine fell asleep. Her breathing deepened and she shifted slightly against the bark. But she winced when her side brushed up against the tree.

Hearing a scream, Drakine's eyes snapped open as she moved forward. Pain jetisoned through her side and she sucked breath through clentched teeth.

Demyan sighed and closed his eyes, trying to fool himself that he was still in the dark where nothing could hurt him. He began to calm down and he soon fell to sleep his head against the tree with a small tilt to the right. His knees up to his chest and his hands within the safe shade of the tree.

Demyan's eyes flew open. He looked at the ground and saw that it was still day, though just not as bright as it was. He pulled his hand away from the edge of the shadow of the tree and sighed of relief that he hadn't been burnt in his sleep due to the shadow moving. Though it had moved a little bit to where he could reach another tree next to a bush. He stumbled to his feet and fell against the tree next to the bush holding his right side where the sun had burned him. He crouched down once again wincing.

Riiva watched Demyan as she remained perched near Drakine. She ruffled her wings and cocked her head sharply to the right. Drakine shifted and winced as her broken ribs rubbed against the bark. The raven flared one wing and used the primaries to lightly brush against Drakine's skin. The girl shuddered and woke slowly. She rubbed her eyes before doubling over as she coughed up blood into her palm.

Demyan's eyes flashed open as he smelt blood. He turned and looked over at Drakine "hey can you give some of that to me" he said as he pointed to the blood on her hand. If he wanted to reach his brother he would have to have some energy to get to him or at least wait for nightfall, which wasnt far away.

Drakine looked out of the corner of her eyes to glare at Demyan. She continued to cough into her hand and started to wonder of her broken ribs had punctured a lung.

Demyan sighed "worth a try" he said as he leaned back against the tree and watched the sky as stars started to appear. He gave a small smile at the thought of feeling safe again from the sunlight and hoped that Alik would look where he had left him.

Alik opened his eyes to find the sun beginning to set. He looked over at Jakio who was asleep on his back with his feet ontop of Alik's lap as he drooled on the cave floor. He gave a small laugh and smacked him over the head to wake him up. Jakio flew up "who's there!" he said a litte dizzy as he looked around with a yawn.
