Rune shrugged, leaning back against the wall. Dusk just turned his eyes to his brother, waiting for an explanation. Rune shrugged, crossing his arms on his chest. "I exscaped from their prison. They said that if I didn't search for you they'd throw me into prison. So I didn't look for you," Rune put his hands behind his head. "I escaped 'cause I was hungry. And let me tell you, I am never going back there." Rune declared.

     Dusk elbowed his brother's arm. "Neither am I. Where he goes, I go."

     Sara stared at Rune and said, "They make everyone they come across search for me. They have a price on my head as big as King Kong, but they want me alive." Sara didn't want to ever go back to her home town where guys flocked her wherever she went.

     "Shinook, calm down," sara said when shinook took a step towards Rune.

((BUMP))

     "Dusk worked with me for a while, so he got one too," Rune shook his head, sighing. "His isn't nearly as strong as mine, but it's still good for a still mortal wolf." Dusk rolled his eyes, standing up again. "My wolf actually his a naturla one. Rune bit his, and made it more vampir-ish than wolf." Dusk shook his head, clearly disgusted. "If you want, we can go find them and bring them back," Rune offered, thinking of how nice it would be to see his wolf again.

Crystal was listening the whole time.  "I just remembered something!" Crystal exclaimed, and she took off toward the cave.  Her feet kicked up dust as she ran at a fast pace.  When the cave came into sight she immediately stopped.

"How could I have forgotten about you, Diamond?" Crystal said as she picked up her vampire bat.  It wasn't a fruit bat, it was the one that drinks blood, just like Crystal.  The bat squeaked and flapped her tiny wings.

Crystal began to run back toward Sara, Dusk, and Rune with Diamond in her hands.  When she finally reached them she stroked her bat's back and said, "This is my bat, Diamond.  I had her since she was a tiny baby bat." 

     "It was either that," Rune raised his voice a bit, "or die. I wasn't going to let her die!" he contered, his usually amber eyes flashing red before going back. "You... you wouldn't understand." he closed his eyes. "And no, she doesn't kill relentlessly. She's in a closed off environment, and she only drinks the blood of little stray animals that make it in to her area. Either that, or I bring her her blood," Rune turned his head to gaze out the window. "I'll bring her here, if you want. She's really smart for a wolf, and she understands a lot more than just scents and sounds,"

     Dusk, upon seeing Crystal enter the room, waved cheekily, before noticing the bat. "Oh, awesome! It's name is Diamond?" he brought his fingers up to stroke the vampire bat's wings. Hesitantly, though. "I always wanted one, but I got a wolf instead." he grimaced.
