**Time jump for my charrie.** The pain, slowly fading. Jordin opened her eyes. She saw every thing in a new light. Unlike the other pokemorphs she had seen, she didnt have fur except on her ears and tail. Staring at hte ceiling, she noticed a faint yellow glow that pulsed slowly. She sat up, the band had been removed. Glancing aorund, she notcied a girl sitting on the floor crying, another still on a table, and she could here the voices of a few guys. Standing, she stretch, smiling as her bones cracked freely.

"am I a shiny umbreon?" I asked, looking at the other umbreon. She looked the same as me,but I had fur and my marks were blue not yellow.... -------------------------------------------------------- I cried silently as two boys walked into the room and sat down next to me. (( Sorry Flaaffy! )) Nyx looked over at Miranda. He blinked in surprise. He must of been so caught up in his own thoughts that he hadn't noticed her. He walked over to crouch beside her. "There, there, don't cry," he said softly, patting on her shoulder lightly. He'd never liked to see people cry. |

(( Lol what?! )) Nyx inwardly groaned. He didn't like depressing things. Slightly annoyed, he poked her cheek with his clawed finger. "Quit moping!" he scolded. "That doesn't do anyone any good." He glanced at the scientist, making sure they weren't listening, before leaning in closer to Miranda's face. "And it certainly wont help us escape!" he whispered quietly. |

Jordin flicked her tail expirmentaly. She noticed that the rings on her tail and ears had produced the glow on the ceiling. She glanced around the room. Flicking an ear, she caught the tid bit about escaping from the haunter pokemorph. She let out a half sigh, half growl. She found it felt good to growl.

Once again, his instincts made Nyx turn tangible and the finger went through him, causing him to shudder. He really needed to learn how to control that part of his powers. He pulled away so her finger was no longer in him and turned solid. "That feels weird," he said in a childish manner.

Nyx paused for a second, thinking. "Umm, a ghost pokemon, probably Haunter judging from these." He poked at the small purple ears sticking up from his head then showed her his claws and sharp teeth. "That and I can, well could, walk through the lab walls." He rubbed his nose, which was still sore from when he crashed into the wall earlier.

"Hmm, well we could try to raid the kitchen." Nyx offered, smiling. It'd be fun to have a partner in crime. "I did that about a week ago and the cook chased me out with a broom." He laughed as he remembered the fat old cook chasing him through the kitchen before Nyx had remembered he could go through the wall.

"I think we can eat both, I know I can." Suddenly Nyx remembered something from growing up on the streets. A creepy grin grew on his face and he leaned in closer to Miranda's face. "Did you know that Haunter feed off the life force of humans and Pokemon?" he asked. His voice seemed casual enough but there was a hint of deviance to it.

Nyx followed her, closing the distance so he was the same length away from her as before. "Aww, not even a nibble?" he teased. Clearly he was enjoying himself. It wasn't every day that you meet a pokemorph that wasn't peeved off enough about the transformation to try to kill you.
