Catie senced happiness...which she hated.  "Dusk, you don't want me to have an accident with you, now do you?" she called behind her in a menacing voice, without turning from her work.  She slid down tru's leg... gripping her large surgeons blade and fingering it gently.  Careful not to prick herself.

Seri growled..."I hope she cuts her fingers off." she growled once again in an unknown language.

Seri replied to Dusk with a dark snarl.

Catie looked up, "then I should gather it." she said dangerously, gripping a larger surgeons blade from her counter... one that was dyed with the blood of her...'scientific disection.'  She glanced at the reddish crimson that dyed the blade, quickly cleaning it with yet another chemical.,

Catie sighed, "Are you sure?" she breathed cooly, sharpening the blade on a heavy stone that sat on her table with the rest of her supplies.

Seri pricked her fur, revealing her own claws menacingly, each one sharpened to the point...each one dencer and stronger then Diamond itself...  She bared her teeth... hoping this small hybrid will be her next meal.

Catie smiled darkly to herself, she strode over to her cabinet, ripping opent he doors.  Blades of every size lined the shelves and walls of the grand storage place.  She placed the knife gently on the shelf and pulling out a much sharper, but thinner blade... it was large, about the size of her forearm, but still thin enough to hold in one's hand.  she twirled it around in her hands, careful not to touch her skin with it, for it would most definatly draw blood.  She chose to ignore Dusk, making it apparent she had done so.  She walked over to the still unmoving Tru, climbing atop his back with one hand, the other holding the blade that was suspended away from her body.

Seri growled, and relaxed her claws, laying down in the back of the prison, her gaze on the wall instead of the human... this would be a bloody sight.

Thalia grinned at Dusk. "Your blood heals, huh? Bet that will help a lot around here." She glanced at Catie briefly, then looked away. She didn't want to know what the scientist was going to do with that knife. Looking at Dusk, she added, "We all probably wish we had that skill."

Kae nodded, only half listening. "Yeah, that would be nice," he said quietly. Most of his attention was focused on Catie, fascinated despite himself. He was still shaken from the Tru's death, and wanted to look away from the scientist, but couldn't help himself.

Catie rose the blade, striking down in between the lion-dragon's shoulder blades... she made a slow, gentle motion down, stripping pelt from the hidden muscles and veins.  Blood dyed her arms and hands, as she continued the motion... the sickly sound of the blade stripping the flesh seemed to make the hybrids around her shutter.  The blood stung her arms but it was no where close to the pain she experienced before... she realized this was because of her previous invention, which she injected into herself after first experiencing Tru's blood's unique qualities.

"Silence faerie, or you might be next." she warned expressionlessly, her eyes clenching shut in the silence.  The only sound was the blade hitting the tissues of her once ally.
