Catie held the small faerie in her palm, her eyes narrowing towards the hybrid.  She tapped her bare foot impatiently...  she cocked her head, and began to stroll past the cages... she looked at the still unconcious Seri.  "Yukita, my friend.  I always wondered what Seri's reaction would be to ground faerie."  she stated expressionlessly, but completely serious, toying with a metal hammer on the table.  She has fed many different ingrediants to the demon-wolf...  however was forced to stop when she was scolded repeatedly when Seri had an alergic reaction and major aggression default when fed another wolf-hybrid's DNA.  Seri and Tru were both her most successful creations...  however she has been working to mix their DNA into that of yet another creation...

Tru looked up at Catie through tired eyes.  He was bored, and felt pity towards the small creature the human was holding...  he trembled nervously, not wanting to see Catie 'accidentily' kill another hybrid...  for he didnt believe the first two were accidents.

Catie felt the faerie go limp in her palms... she still felt a heartbeat so knew she didnt kill it.  She debated whether to use her 'ground faerie' idea...but knew Yukita would not accept her offer.  She withdrew more toxins from the cabinet...  she had to continue her experiment once Yukita would take the small hybrid back.

Thalia growled as she watched Catie and the other experiment. "Those monsters. What are they doing to her?" she whispered. She debated trying to distract Catie by making a fuss, then decided against it. It wasn't her concern what happened to the small faerie, and if she made a fuss, they might decide to use her instead. She sighed and sat down on the floor of her cage. The thing was, whatever they did to one experiment, they would do to another-namely, her. This just gets worse and worse, she thought

Kae stopped staring at the scientists and relaxed. They weren't looking his way, anyway, so he didn't need to waste time trying to hypnotize him. However, he didn't like the way Catie was holding Dusk. Who knew what she wanted to do. He grinned. "Well, maybe I can get some food this way." He unsheathed his cat claws and ran them down the side of his cage, making a loud screeching sound.

Dusk awoke from the loud screechy sound mace by Kae. She turned her head in his direction and hissed. She glanced up at Catie and felt the ominous precense of the needle agaim. She shuttered...

Catie's eyes sprang foward at the screeching noise.  She didnt flinch by it...her eyes narrowed.  "Shut up you worthless piece of trash." she growled dangerously looking straight into Kae's eyes.  She wasnt afraid of any of the experiments...even though she knew many were more powerful then she could ever be.  It was best not to anger her, for most hybrids who did...were used in her next experiment.

The dart began to where off on Seri... a low growl erupted from her throat as her dark eyes sprang open, she lunged at the bars once more, only to collapse when her legs fell limp. The toxin hasnt worn off yet.

Tre watched in distress and began to pace again...he hated seeing how the humans treated them... hated how the human known as Catie took even the most dangerous Toxins and injected it into their skin.  He shuddered at the thought, letting out a light growl towards Catie.

Kae considered trying to hypnotize Catie, but then thought of the earring in his ear and decided not to risk it. Even if he managed to hypnotize her, that other scientist would trigger the earring-probably with more than neccesary force. Instead, he smiled at Catie. "What did I do?" he asked. "I'm part cat. Cats need to exercise thier claws,right?" He gave her an innocent look. "Did I interupt something important?" This was probably suicide, but he didn't really care. He was bored out of his wits...at least this gave him some fun.

((That was a pretty lame comeback. Couldn't think of anything else, though))

Thalia watched Kae with curiosity. What would happen to him now? She leaned closer to watch Catie's reaction. Maybe she could glean some information that would help her survive this place.
