Catie shook her head.  So the chemical was a success... by using immece pain...she could heal.  Dusk's sight had returned...so it cured her blindness.  Seri's blood defaults were repaired according to observations.  She let out a wicked smile.  "Excellent." she whispered, writing down the observation.  She picked up Dusk, sealing her in the small anti-break glas.s enclosure...placing her on the shelf where Yukita and herself held the smaller hybrids.  She looked at her hand.  It looked normal, she shook the thought out of her mind, returning to Tru.  She straped him down and used the awakening chemical...Tru's eyes sprang open.  She looked up at Yukita.  "Yeah.  just an accident.  She handed Yukita the clipboard of Tru's blood

Tru was held down by a powerful straps.  He could hardly move, he looked up in terror at Catie... the by far most dangerous... scientist.  If it wasnt for Yukita...he would be dead by now.

Catie stroked Tru on his revealed flesh, pulling yet another needle from her tool kit...she mixed several chemicals together creating her highly experimental acid, Yurinthm.  The acid steamed as she drew it into the needle... she strode over to Tru, placign the needle in between his shoulder blades, and injecting.  She stood back.

Tru felt an immence pain striking through his system, his body thrashed uncontrollably...the straps preventing his movement.  His roars of pain echoed throughout the labratory. He glanced down and saw his blood literally boiling beneath his pelt, causing small bubbles on his flesh.

Catie stood silently several paces away.  Just watching.  her arms behind her back

Tru screeched much more... he felt his lungs gasping for breath... he choked on an unknown liquid he coughed it up.... his own blood dripped from his muzzle that seemed by the gallons, falling on the protected tile floor.  His eyes began to glaze over and he knew he may never awaken, he fell into a deep sleep...as his heart fell silent, the thrashing ceased.  For he would not wake up.... the lab was silent, the only noise was his blood dripping to the floor.

Catie stroked Tru gently.  She sighed heavily, but a wicked smile went across her face.  She looked at Yukita, "What is our plan?" she asked, her gaze drifting around the labratory.  She hoped the other hybrids will now realize what she was capable of doing... but she shrugged off the thought.

Seri's eyes were wide.  The human was completly insane.

"OK, so we need to mix that blood with every substance and then every illness we have here." Yukita looked over at Catie, "Whos blood is this anyway?" She asked looking down at the chart for the name that Catie had forgotten to write down. "We will need to move them into an entirely different room, with constant care from one of us. Time for the old shifts." She sighed, working late and then coming in early wasnt her favorite thing.

Catie made a dark smirk.  She simply pointed to the limp lion-dragon hybrid she created so many years ago...  She probobly should have tested her sample on the little faerie who seemed to have a big mouth.  She sighed heavily and got a box of antitoxins from her bag.  Perhaps she could awaken her creation...

Seri put her paws over her ears...the hybrid who had been next to her since her creation was dead.  His cries of pain echoed in her ears.  Her eyes clenched shut.

Thalia curled up into a ball, too shocked to even whimper. Her wings ears and tail were glued to her body, and her eyes were squeezed shut. In all her years on the streets, she had never seen anything like this, and she doubted this would be the last one. She rocked back and forth, tears welling in her eyes. These people were as much of a monster as she was! She raised her head and stared at them, talking as coolly as if they hadn't just killed the creature in front of them. Rage filled her eyes

Kae was shocked, despite having been there for longer than Thalia. That experiment had been around for as long as he could remember, a constant. Now it was gone. Unconciously, he was on all fours, his ears against his head and his tail in the air. His fur was bristling and his claws were extended. His wings were spread to full length. A sound half cry, half hiss rose from his throat.

Catie looked up.  A dangerous look in her eyes.  "One of you will be next, so SILENCE." she growled.  Her emerald green eyes suddenly turning to a calming hue.  She returned to her work...pulling more venoms and her own chemical creations in front of her in small test tubes.  She ran her fingers through Tru's unmoving pelt.  The blood that dripped from his jaw started to burn through the tile.  Her hand stopped where she had injected the toxin that no doubt killed him.  The flesh still seemed to bubble in that place, the swelling remaining dispite the dropped temperature.  Her eyes narrowed as she sat in a seat, carefully mixing more toxins, stopping every now and then to take notes...

Seri felt a low growl echo through her throat... it was supposed to be her on that table where the lion-dragon lay...  what had changed her creator's mind was beyond her.  "Shes insane." she mouthed in an indistinct language.

"Catie, this is amazing. Who shall i bring to the table next?" Yukita looked around spotting Yusharan first. "How about him?" She asked pointing at Yusharan's cage. "I think we should see what it does to him."

Yusharan pricked his ears up and retreated to the back of his cage, whimpering as he went.

Catie ignored her co-workers words and carefully dropped a bit of the murderous toxin in with another experimental chemical which was said to reverse the process.  She simply put up her arm and waved towards Yukita, signaling her to bring the creature foward.

Yukita walked over grabing the tranquilizer gun and heading for the gate. She shot Yusharan in the shoulder, watching as each of his mucsles failed him in the next few seconds. When he had fallen, she opened the door and reached inside, pulling the moster out of the cage and hoisting him up on the table.

Yusharan wimpered silently, fearing for his life. He was going to be experimented on by Catie, the most feared and insane scientist in the whole place.

Catie continued dropping tablets of undistingusished liquid into a test tube.  Stopping momentarilly to check for color changes.  She pulled her hair back.  "could you do this one?" she called behind her.  "Im working on an anti-toxin." she said bitterly, not noticing her change of tone.
