"Oh no." Azalie laughed. "If it were that easy, everyone would have a griffon. Remember when I said it took me a year to earn her trust?" she said, smiling. "She put me through many, many tests. Of course, she trusts anyone that I trust." Jack made himself at home in the dip of Iradon's back. "First, she left footprints going backwards to see if I was clever enough to track her down. Then, she actually fought me. Of course, she wouldn't have injured me." Of course, she used magic to fight. "One day, she flew with me on her back. Against my will."

Azalie sighed. "Of course, those were only the main tests. She gave me many smaller challenges, such as finding a way to get her to come to me when I called. I had to get this whistle," she said, showing Stucka her whistle around her neck.

        Stucka looked at the whistle and nodded. "But she's worth it right? I don't know if I would would have the patience for all that, you deserve her." Stucka looked back at Azalie, smirking as he ment every word. Stucka then took one of his hands and placed it behind him, leaning slightly as he almost lounged on the large griffon.

         " But I can't blame you, this is somethig that can make you feel like you can escape what's happening around you, and it kinda makes you feel........libero."  (libero-free in Italian)

        Stucka sighed, thinking about his famliy for just a second, going back to sitting normally as he felt a little off, not wanting to fall to his death anytime soon.

"Yes. Iradon was worth every second of that year," she said, smiling into the sun. "She is extremely loyal. Just as loyal as Jack." Azalie sighed, and closed her eyes. She turned around to face Stucka, and leaned back onto Iradon's neck.

"I've always heard about great heroes riding griffons and pegasuses." She tapped her chin. "But I think that griffons should be the heroes. Iradon has saved my life many times." She covered her mouth. She had let too much slip out. That's what would happen with Azalie. She would talk and talk, then a secret or something that was linked to a secret would slip out.

        Stucka smiled. "Dont' worry, your secret's safe with me, I promise." he made a zipping motion over his mouth. "I'm like a priest." he leaned forward a bit, making sure to rest both his hands on Iradon's back. " I have a pet too, he's a bald eagle, but nothing like this." He looked over at Azalie and contemplated over what to tell her, and what not to tell her.

         "And my dad's in Aneru city...not sure if he's alive." Stucka looked down below, seeing if he could see anything from this high up. He wasn't easily emotional, so the thought of crying, or getting flustered wasn't his kind of style.

         " And, no silings, my mom died during child birth." He looked back at her, shrugging as he smiled. "There, now you know more about me, don't worry, I would understand if you want to wait to talk about you, don't mind at all." He left out the shifter part, that would be something he would leave for the future, he only tells his best friends that he trusts to death about that.

Azalie was shocked. "We're alike in some ways, but my brother, River, has been missing for a few years," she said, lying. "I hate to break it to you, but when Iradon flew over Aneru city, I didn't see anyone that was still alive." She shook her head, feeling guilty.

"I don't really remember who my mom or dad are. I just remember that they died when I was very little." She thought about River. He had raised her. He basically was her dad. Of course, she was left to her own resources at age ten. "When River went missing, I left my hometown and went to Irayni's mountains, hoping to find peace there. However, all I found was Iradon."

        Stucka nodded slowly, looking down at his hands, not sure what else to do. "I hope you find him then." He smirked weakly, still not looking up. He knew something was missing in his heart, the feeling made him think of the worst.

         Stucka looked up and hid his emotions well, acting as if nothing was on his mind. "Do you have any plans after this? I mean, somewhere to go, something to do?" He didn't want to push the questions, he knew she wasn't very open to answering them with a good reason. he didn't take it personally at all.

"Like I said earlier," Azalie said, "I live on the streets. I have nothing to do." She smiled. "What I do for fun consists of playing tag with Jack, and flying on Iradon." Azalie felt at ease. She was happy up here. Stucka was the nicest person she had met in years. Of course, that didn't say anything because she hadn't really talked to anyone in years.

Iradon angled herself down slightly, riding the air currents downward. That was a sign of her descent.

        Stucka held on tightly as Iradon went slightly downward. "Well whenever you want, you can count on me for entertainment, I can get bored too without anyone to hang with." He nodded at his own comment and smirked, feeling a little uneasy as he didn't want to fall, the act would most likely end in tradegy.

Iradon was careful not to let Stucka fall. Even if he did, she would catch him with her claws. Stucka didn't have any bad feelings towards Azalie. That much Iradon could tell.

Azalie was quiet. "Okay." She smiled to herself. She closed her eyes as the wind made its way through her hair.

Iradon landed back in the city, and people gathered around once more. Azalie got off, and she waited patiently for Stucka.

        Stucka hopped of, stroking Iradon's head and smiling. "Thanks Iradon." he looked over at Azalie and ignored the people gawking at the huge animal. Before speaking, he had to think of what to do next, he knew his father was probably dead, but he wanted to make sure, he could never be put to rest until he found out.

        " I should go back to Terror, he's probably hungry..." Stucka walked toward Azalie only a few more steps before standing still. "Thanks by the way, I apprecite the ride." he smirked, remembering the experience that only occured a few seconds ago.

        Stucka was just about to turn around before saying goodbye, but he heard Azalie's stomach growel, making him stop and smile. " I should have asked earlier, after I feed Terror, we can grab something to eat, my treat."

Stucka walked over to her and extended out his hand to help her get up. " But I need to stop at my house first, it's WAY past his feeding time."

        Stucka gave a slight nod. "No problem, and he's my bald eagle, but don't let the name fool you, he's real nice. I'll lead the way." he turned slightly, making sure Azalie and Jack were in his line of sight, and walked forward. "It's not far from here."

        "And here is my crib, nothing really special, but I can't complain." Stucka gestured to it, the house being one of the biggest on the street. He felt a little bad having such a large house when Azalie didn't have one at all, and now that he had it for a little while alone, it seemed bigger.

         "Are you going to come in, or do you not trust me enough yet?" he smiled, almost seeming to tease her. He opened his door and leaned against the frame, looking at her and Jack.

Azalie blushed. "I'll come in." Jack followed her inside, and she was amazed at the size of Stucka's home. "Wow," she said, looking around the room. "It's huge."

        Stucka nodded, shutting the door behind her and shrugging. "It's pretty awesome, all my dad though, I really need a job." he scratched the top of his head and chuckled ackwardly. "Anyways, come on, Terror is in my room."

        Stucka walked over to the stairs and ran up them, going right to the room at the end of the hall, one of the bigeest one's actually, only because his bald eagle took up half of it with his huge cage. He opened the door and walked over to the cage, opening it right away and resting his arm out. Terror fly over and landed on his open hand, Stucka's glove keeping the talon's from piercing his skin. 

        His room had a huge window, facing the street that rested behind Stucka's bed. His walls were mostly blue, with a slight trim on the corners that held some slight white. On the other side of the room was a television with a few gaming systems, and to the other wall, was the Terror's cage, all the other stuff stayed in the room nest to his.

Azalie followed Stucka, Jack making it up the stairs before her. She walked into is room, and gaped. The room was huge, too. However, half of it was a bird cage. And then she saw it. The bald eagle. Terror. "Whoah," she said, keeping her distance. She didn't expect the eagle to be that big. And the talons. Huge, huge talons. She shivered. "That's one big bird." Jack walked over to Terror's cage and sniffed the corner of it.
