Ooc; Jethro!!! 8D Lake, thanks for changing the blood manip., but I always find the whole "Slowing down Time" thing to be absolute Godmodding and powerplaying because you're always making other characters freeze so they could easily be attacked.

Lake, dear, I just want to say that your barrier is a Godmod power. :x It's not fair that it's impenetrable, can take any shape and feed off others' life force. The take any shape isn't bad on its own, but it should at least be her own energy and can be broken, otherwise it's unfair. It's the same with the matter cloning. She shouldn't be able to make any ob ject, even if she has to see it first. I noticed the last one is only if it's acceptable, and it's deemed not. D:

((Am I literate enough to join? If so, here is my bio. If not, I will edit the bio out. I must say, though, this is a very interesting plot. It kinda reminds me of the Hunger Games.)) Arena Name: Firecracker Name: Holly Rutledge Age: 15 Gender: Female Looks: Holly stands at 5'6".She has brown hair of many different shades that is wavy, and stops at her shoulder blades. It has many layers, and is very thick. Her skin is lightly tanned, and she has a few freckles across her cheeks. Her figure is slim, and she has lean muscles on her arms and legs. She usually wears ripped clothes, that have some burn marks on them. Kills: Fifty Four Powers: - Fire manipulation: This power has some ups and downs for Holly. FIrstly, she can set herself on fire, but her clothes burn up in the flames. Secondly, she has some problems controlling the fire; however, the fire doesn't affect her. - Illusions: She can make you see things that aren't real. She can turn the arena into a funhouse, but it takes a good deal of energy. - Compulsion: She can magnify your emotions about her, or dull them. Let's say... Maybe you want to kill her. Holly can use her mind to wiggle its way into yours, and make you not want to kill her. And if she thinks that you can be her ally, she can use your feelings towards her against you. Let's say that your character has an attraction to her... She can magnify that attraction to make your character her ally. However, this power doesn't work on everyone. It requires intense concentration, and Holly can only manipulate whatever emotions the person already has. She can't take you from hating her to falling in love with her, but she can change your mind with some effort. ((If Holly's third power is a bit GMish, tell me, and I will edit it, or give her a new power.)) Personality: She's new, so her personality will develop throughout the roleplay. One thing is for sure, though: she will be very aggressive and uncontrollable, just like the fire that she manipulates. ((I may add a male character if needed.))

Ooc; You can join, Wolfie. Lola, my character, Dustin, only has 2 kills. :3 Their amount of kills actually makes them lower targets to others, but feel free to bump them up if you want and your characters are perfectly fine.

Editted them all a little bit. ^^ I wasn't comfortable with the time thing either though I wasn't thinking so much as getting them to be easier as I was getting her to be harder to hit. ^^

((I actually disagree on the matter cloaning thing, Typo. o3o As long as it isn't unlimited, like can create troops upon troops of wolves and such, it should be fine. Most of the time, with that kind of ability, it's based on the user's energy. Like... a knife would take less energy to make than a desk because it's smaller. Also the Shield... o_o If that's not GM, I'm a turtle...))

[OOC: your a turtle? O...o I never would have guessed xD Anywho, I did make it so that it wasn't impenetrable.... you can get through it to, and it sucks on her energy. ^^ If your saying that the changed version was GM... I don't understand how it would be.]

Ooc; That's interesting, Lola. xD Guys, I think we can start now. Lake, I'm sure your powers are going to be okay when we start. :3 Also, Wolfeh, her third power is fine. You put the limitations on it by saying she couldn't generate a totally new emotion. c: Now let's get this party started and let the bloodshed begin! Bic; Riley wove her way through the dense trees of the woodland area of the Arena. Her footsteps were muffled by the shadows that swirled around her and her dark black wings shuffled on her back. Her black eyes scanned the forest, each speck of movement clear to her penetrating gaze. She walked on in the forest, stretching out her senses and seeming to taste the energy of the forest. When she broke through the forrest, she made it to a small encampent. It resided just underneath a large rock outcropping and she could faintly hear a shuffling of feet from inside. Her eyes flickered once, the charcoal black pupils being swallowed by crimson red as her night vision kicked in. She could see the young boy moving around in the cave and she let her tense muscles relax slightly; not all the way, though. Ever since her seventh kill, the spider boy, she always kept tabs on the movements around her and never let her guard down. She was an absolute killing maching and just the thought of Dustin in that cave, warm blood pumping through his veins that could easily splatter against the walls with one of her shadow knives. No, she thought as she shook her head, whisking away the malevolant images as she did so. She had a purpose, always had after that first kill. Yet, she always seemed to fail when it came to withstanding the effects of the drug. "Hazard, you there?" Dustin asked as he poked his head through the cave. He squinted into the darkness and Riley let the shadows provide a veil over her. She walked up to the boy and when she was a breath away from his face, released the shadow covering. He stumbled backward, but kept his scream silent, knowing they would get found in a flash if he released the noise. "And that's how you get killed," murmured Riley as she rolled her eyes. She whisked past Dustin and sauntered into the cave. Her black boots hit the floor with loud cracks, but the noise was muffled outside. Of course the boots restricted some speed from her which was a major disadvantage, but she wasn't going to lose herself to being a monster. Besides, she liked the look of the biker boots. "Why do you always have to scare the crap out of me like that, Hazard?" Dustin complained as he walked into the cave. He settled down near the wall and Riley's black eyes flicked up at him. The way his muscles coiled when he stretched out and when he diverted his attention, she was already calculation hundreds of ways to jump him. Silently, but swiftly. Always silent. She was a hunter of the night, her vision capable of seeing as if it were plain daylight. Dustin's gaze flicked back to her and he grimaced at the sight of her red eyes. "You know that freaks me out, right?" he said irritably. Riley bared her teeth at him in a snarl and grabbed a piece of dried meat from the ground. Dustin had probably cooked it while she had been out...hunting. "Does it look like I care?" she said in response as she slid the meat down her gullet. Rabbit meat; she recognized the taste of borage and other leaves in it. She slid back against the wall of the cave and pointed to the cave entrance. Shadows seeped from the walls around her and covered the entrance to the cave. "Nighty night," she muttered before she curled up on her side. Tomorrow, they would go scouting again and find another place to stay. Hopefully, they wouldn't meet up with any other contestants; not before she could control the bloodlust. After eighty-seven kills, it was getting harder. Riley fell asleep to the sound of Dustin's breathing, her frenzied mind lost in ways to kill him and silence the noise. She wanted his blood to wash around her, smatter her clothes, and fill her nose with its scent. The murdurer inside of her wanted to end his life. Riley wasn't having anymore of it.

((-.-; I said that because I'm obviously not a turtle and that was obviously a god-modded power... Almost always will anything "impenetrable" be a god-modded power. o3o And never using your own power is also almost always god-modded.)) The roar of the waterfall was all that could be heard as a white serval slid out the water of the large pool the waterfall crashed into. A single, shiny, silver fish was in the feline's jaws, still struggling against it's hold even as blood seeped from it's body, staining the serval's muzzle the color of his crimson eyes. Alec, or Anima as he was known to most, threw the fish down onto the rocks with such force that it died. In a matter of seconds, he consumed it, leaving only the bones and stomach contents. With his meal finished, he sat up and licked the blood from his muzzle, beginning to wash his paws as his fur dried. He prefered eating and hunting in this form. It was easier to catch prey and elimiated the need to cook his food. Not that he was worried about making a fire, but it was a waste of time. Most would think that his white fur was a curse. What could be worse than being such a bright color when an enemy could be at your throat at any moment? However, Alec had the second most kills of all the Arena's inhabitants, labeling him as the second most powerful. Second only to Shadow Castor. His fur was a challenge and statement to all. He didn't need to hide and cower in the shadows like her. He left himself open to anyone who tried to kill him. So far, all of them had lost their lives in the attempt. "You'll die soon enough, Shadow Castor, as will the rest of you... I am the perfect fighter," the serval growled, getting to his paws as he shook the last of the moisture from his fur. He looked up at the sky. It was dark now, which meant it was time for him to hunt. While most people slept, he found the opportunity to kill those who were carelessly sleeping, completely defenseless to the world around them. Scenting the air, he found nothing of interest, so he dove into the brush of the surrounding forest, racing silently through it with all his senses alert for his next victim. Tonight, he was determined to get ever closer to succeeding Riley's Kill Count. Once he'd rubbed his victory into her face, he'd take her life, and hopefully her powers, for his own.

Must... kill... him... Holly's eyes watched the white serval slink into the brush after eating its meal. Must... kill... him... Her mind was clouded with bloodlust. She wanted that boy's blood. She wanted his powers, his life. That little kitty couldn't be too hard to beat, could he? Of course, Holly knew that he had the second highest number of kills. However, that didn't mean anything to her. She had three components on her side; compulsion, fire, and illusions. She would make her move soon enough, but not tonight. Holly slinked away into the forest. She made her way to a tree that had three burn marks on it, and nimbly climbed it. She layed down in the forks of the branches, and listened. She wasn't going to go to sleep. She knew better than that. She was going to make sure that everything was completely still before even shutting an eye. And once she killed Anima, she was going after Shadow Castor.

Ooc// Inspiration...tell me if it's not okay. :x Bic// "What a pretty girl you are...too bad I'll have to kill you." Sage clenched her fists and tried to keep the mask of pure innocence on her face. The boy in front of her, with his sinister snarl and assuming leer plastered on his face tried her patience to a dangerous extent. She widened her eyes, and took a step back. "W-what do you mean? Can't we just be...friends?" Sage wanted to cheer. She nailed the voice perfectly, the ignorance pouring out of it like a fountain. The boy just laughed, and drew a knife. In a flash, Sage was a blur of canine, and then the boy was down on his back, knife thrown carelessly aside as he raised his hands to protect himself. Amateur, Sage growled, don't you dare underestimate me. You'll pay a high price for that mistake. Your life. But all that came out was a garbled tangle of growls. With an irritated flick of her tail, she realized that he was whimpering, begging for her mercy. She snorted. As if she had any. She hurriedly looked over her shoulder, and confirmed that no one was in the near vicinity. Then, she did her business quickly. This was her first kill in nearly three weeks. She tried to stay out of sight, but this imbecile had stumbled upon her, feeding. He hadn't realized the innocent looking horse shifter had a deadly streak. And now he was paying for it. With a sudden shiver, Sage realized that this boy had a power. An air elemental. Warm flurries swirled across her skin as she absorbed his power, his essence. His reason for existence. Sage shuddered at the thought, but leaned back and shifted into her crouching human form. She stood and flexed her hand, sending a too-large blast of wind across the narrow forest clearing. She looked behind her again, and then dropped into her four-legged wolf once more. There had been enough noise here already. Time to move on. In a moment, Sage was just another shadow of the forest. --- Marim finished the rabbit with gusto, licking his muzzle clean as the meal finished. He looked around, curious but also wary. The grassland he was concealed in now had tall plants enough to conceal him, and he was perfectly warm in his thick fur coat under the cool night sky, but one could never know who was around in this part of the arena. He had met a deer shifter with fire elemental abilities, and wondered how the poor girl had even managed to get them. Some people had just gotten the worst of the lots here. Shuddering, he thought of those whose powers he had robbed. Marim had only attacked one person--the electricity elemental who had killed his only ally. The others had made the wrong move, challenging him. He wasn't proud of his kills--ashamed, really--but what was one to do, set in an arena to fight to the death? Unintentionally, his paws worked their way into the soil, claws tearing out small troughs. He flicked his tail and sheathed the barbed hooks once more, and then stretched, loosening his muscles. It was time to move on. Let luck have it that no one would find him tonight.

Ooc; Loving the intros, guys. Especially the death in the beginning, Lola. :3 I'd also appreciate it if there weren't any speed posting. We don't want anyone left behind and it's such a large group. Post your intros and wait please. I'm getting off for tonight, anyway and we don't want to go too far ahead without Serenity or Det. <3
