Dustin chittered happily when he spotted Tigress's form approaching them. Riley watched as the boy pulled out of his sparrow form to properly treat the girl. The dark-haired girl merely shook her head as she watched his eyes light up. "Honestly, Dust. You give the impression that the drug doesn't even work on you," she muttered as he walked up to Tigress. When the other girl had walked up to them, Riley gave her a small glance, dark eyes focused more on the secrets the breeze carried within them. When Tigress spoke up, Riley turned her gaze back on the girl. "What now?" she asked and Riley could hear the faint beating of Tigress's heart. The girl shook her head with a menacing growl and tendrils of darkness below her seethed at her new aggitation. "Where, where are you planning on going?" Tigress asked again and Riley shook out her wings. She hissed as something sliced through the dark feathers of one of her wings and with a shock, the girl realized it was hail. She picked up the slightly bloodied hunk of ice, the size of her enclosed fist, and looked at it in confusion. Her mind raced as she quickly discarded her former plan. Dread set in when she spotted the swirling black winds of one of the cyclones that was quickly approaching. "Well, I was planning on going to the others to help with the whole tornado warning, but seeing as there's giant chunks of ice falling out of the sky and a bunch of cyclones moving in on us, I tossed that idea away. I've just about summed it up that we're pretty much screwed since we're out here in the open," she said with a light shake of her head. Dustin shook her shoulder and pointed to the east. "Hazard, there's a forest over there. The cyclones may turn direction before they reach it--" he began, but Riley stopped him with a light shake of her head. Though she was drained to the bone, she knew there would be no outrunning the twisters. Of course, she wouldn't battle them head on and try to defeat them. That would be foolish. "I'm going to change the direction of those things. You two get to the forest in case this doesn't work," she muttered, black eyes smoldering.

Grabbing her arm when another good-sized chunk of hail bounced off of it and bruised the golden skin, Tessa glanced up at the sky worriedly. Her brows creased as the distant sound of rumbling thunder echoed through the air, dark clouds roiling above them. Not only was this weather a smorgasbord of hail, rain and lightning but Riley had also mentioned a twister. "A freaking cyclone," Tessa muttered as Dustin said hello, her eyes narrowing. Looking up at the boy she attempted a tight smile, though it didn't quite work out. "Come on then Dusty," she murmured affectionately, leaving Riley to whatever business she was planning on doing. "Riley knows what she's doing, even if we don't," she added encouragingly. What was she supposed to do if Dustin decided to stay with Riley? Without him Riley would most likely cease to trust her...whatever trust Shadow Caster held for Tessa, and she didn't want that. Dustin was her only connection to the 'fight'. Tapping his arm cautiously, a bit unused to voluntary physical contact, the Tigress jerked a thumb at the forest. "See that? That's tropical forest. It's thick, warm, and most importantly, will protect us from any of the crap falling from the sky. I can navigate that place and if it really worries you I'll go back for Sh-Riley. but right now we need to get out, and you need to cooperate." Tessa knew she was being a bit harsh but she did not want Dustin trying to stay behind. Wincing as more hail rattled down from the heavens she grimaced again at Dustin. "Ready?" she asked, hunching up against the now ice-cold winds that buffeted the plains. Whatever Riley was trying to do, which seemed to be turning back the cyclones, Tessa did not want to be there for. It sounded dangerous, foolish and amazingly brave. Glancing back at the champion Tessa shook her head. "G'luck," she whispered before shifting into a tiger. If Dustin really wanted to she would let him ride her, but since she hadn't mentioned anything about that she didn't press the fact.
