As Katai rushed home, she kept her head bent ashamed of what she had said to her mother. She was so deep in thought that she didnt see Kalika flying in the opposite dirrection. As the two dragons collided Katai called out knowing that help wouldnt come. Katai managed to right herself and found that Kalika was ok as well. "I am so sorry." Katai apologized, "I was flying without looking this is all my fault. Are you ok, i can make it up to you, i promise just tell me when and how." She looked over at the other dragon and gave and embarr@ssed smile.

Confused Katai flew back to her den, "How can she not know who i am... i'm beta's daughter, right." the fact that Kalika had called her a stranger frustrated Katai beyond belief. _____________________________________________________ At the camp, Zariatha had her paws full with the dragon attack. the young dragon Katai was blundering around aimlessly, almost crushing the wolves in her pack. outraged Zariatha lunged and jumped trying to tackle Katai, missing, and hitting the Beta. "oh crud. EVERYBODY RUN FOR THE TREES." she yelled. zariatha was herding the straggler into the forest, looking over her shoulder to watch the yound dragon fly away.

Morana flew over the empires to make sure her clan was not injured. She nodded approvingly seeing them all succeeding. She closed her wings and landed on Mt. Dracona's lowest perch after her scouting, where some of the dragons took shelter during the night. She nodded at them as they said goodnight, while the nocturnals turned and smiled, saying good morning. She nodded toward her allies before stumbling upon Katai. She cocked her head and stood behind her. "Is there a problem young one?" she asked calmly, in her usual tone.

"Wrong, no why would something be wrong?" Katai shifted from paw to paw wondering if Morana had heard the lie. "I'm just tired that's all." More lies. She knew no matter how hard she tried, no sleep would come to comfort her. Katai turned around to head to her den and, walked face first into the mountain side. Shaking her head, She took off and flew up to her cave, a tear running down her snout. As she landed, she snatched a dragon fruit, growing on the vine. Katai walked to the back of the cave where she usualy slept, curled up and cried.

Morana knew where her beta and her chicks lived and slept. She was in Katai's doorstep and saw the tears. She knew the chick was lying and looked at her with her dark green eyes. "Dont try to lie to a master lier." Morana stated in her usual tone, as she approached the crying Katai, and wiped away the tears with her talon, being careful not to scratch her. "Tell me why you shed tears small one." she said her tail wrapped around the crying dragon. Morana hated tears for they were a sign of weakness, but the more she interacted with Katai, the more she realized that she had to dicipline the chick from a different point of view... she had to be gentle, and once they were aquainted, it was then when she would go back to old methods.

Dusk groaned as she felt her front paws, " i can move them again." she nodded her thank to the healer. She wandered outm, wincing with every step... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "My apologies Morena." Feyth bowed ehr head in a shame, "I did not realize that my punishment had made her want to make me proud." she said with sad tone. Her smiled and hugged her daughter...
