Starstepper layed around in the queen's cave, or the nursing cave. She had fed her kits and watched them.Starstepper looked around. " Where is Spottedfeather? I haven't seen her lately." she asked another queen. "Wasn't she supposed to deliver soon?" the queen asked. Starstepper nodded.

Rosepaw and Blackpaw were playing around."Tag! Your it!" Rosepaw giggled. Blackpaw groaned. " Rose, your too quick! I'll never catch you!" he moaned. Rosepaw giggled. " I know, that's what makes it fun..." she laughed. Blackpaw groaned." Let's go find my mentor, Dawnfrost." Rosepaw said, laughing. ( Is that okay if she is her apprentice?) After a while, Rosepaw found her. She had crouched down, ready to strike and pounced.

Spottedfeather crouched at the fresh kill pile, about to take up a fat mouse when a cramp started in her stomach. She stiffened and the young apprentice next to her looked up in concern. "Get...the medicine cat!" Spottedfeather hissed at him and he sprang off in the direction of Sweetbloom's den. The cream colored medicine cat came bounding from her den. "Blackpaw!" She called the apprentice over. "Go get Starstepper so she can help me get Spottedfeather to the Nursery."

Dawnfrost smirked and sidestepped gracefully, and cuffing Rosepaw's ear with a paw. "Good try, but I saw you before you even pounced."

Blackpaw let out a sharp nod. He ran swiftly to Starstepper. " Quick, starstepper, Spottedfeather is about to give birth!" he told her, quickly. Starstepper asked the other queens to wtch her kits. She rushed over to Spottedfeather." My dear, how are you feeling?" she asked, calmly.

Rosepaw grunted, and landed on her face, her bum in the air. She got up. Rosepaw sighed. " I really have to work on that..." she said. She overheard Blackpaw and Sweetblossom." I think something's wrong with Spottedfeather." she said to Dawnfrost.
