Claudia held her head high through the hallway. Most everyone knew her name, all of them smiling at her, or cowering away. She ignored the one group that dispised her for being "bratty". She was closer to her locker now.
"Claudia," Severin said, moving to stand by his long-time friend's locker. Not only was she his best friend but, his girlfriend, too. "You've forgotten to greet me, dear." he added and couldn't help the smile that came to his lips. Claudia always walked into the school like she HB of everything. No insult
"Severin." Claudia said in a mischevious tone, patting his cheek, then turning to her locker. she started fiddling with the lock only glancing at her best friend and boyfriend only once. Into his gorgeous black eyes she loved.
"Is there something on my face?" Severin asked, tucking his books under one arm and reachin g up to touch the spot under his right eye. "Or are you just staring? That's rude, you-" He was cut off when keith, the school's most popular boy, walked up, shaking out his shaggy brown hair and moving to stand in Severin's way.
"Hey there," Keith said, smiling at Claudia. "Claudie baby."
Claudia looked away from both guys to hide her blushing cheeks. She purposefully fumbled with her books in her locker to stall.
"Get out of my way pretty boy," Severin snarled, shoving Keith away. He hated him. So much. He always was noticably flirting with Claudia, and it sickened him.
"Well, well. Goth boy's a little pissy today, ain't he?" Keith said grinning.
Severin glared. "I'm always pissy."He spat, grabbing Claudia's arm and pulling her away.
As she was pulled, Claudia slammed her locker closed behind her stumbling a bit before catching up with Severin's pace. "Er, my cl*censored* is the other way."
"Can we go the long way?" Severin asked, his tone softening. It was definitely much more gentle than the tone he had used with Keith. "Please?"
Claudia's air rushed out of her lips in a sigh. "Fine. Only because I know how much he bugs you." Her eyes fell to the floor but, she kept going.
Severin let out a sigh in relief. "Thank you," he said, turning tand giving Claudia a slight smile. "I really do appreciate it."
"I know." She smiled brilliantly up at him. "You better. Mr. Bladley isn't going to be happy with me for being late agian and I'll have to come up with a pretty damn good explanation for it.'
"Well, you could just tell him some idiot sidetracked you." Severin suggested, scowling at the ground. "Not me, by the way."
"Are you sure it's not you?" She smil;ed seductively, stopping and turning to him. "Because you know your my idiot."
I am not an idiot." Severin growled, lifting his head to rest his scowl on Claudia. "But, since you've always got me wrapped around your finger, I suppose I am, after all, your idiot." He sighed, then motioned to the door. "Mr. Bladley's cl*censored*room."
She made a pouting face. "Fine. See you after?" Claudia lingered quietly.
"Lunch time sounds good." Severin said, averting his eyes. Sometimes, Claudia was just too cute.
Claudia nodded, then pushed onto a toes and kissed his cheek lightly. She turned on her heels and burst into the cl*censored*room, slinking agianst wall to her seat.
Severin sighed. He hated being affectionate, but with girls, it seemed like there was just no way of avoiding it.
Timeskip~
It was refreshing to know that if he wanted to, he could simply walk outside and have whatever he had brought as a lame excuse for a lunch there. But, then agian, wherever Claudia was, Keith was there too, flirting about. And unfortunately, Severin was always there to witness it.
Claudia always brought a lunch just to pick at it. She barely ate ever but her mother would fret. Keith seemed like a stalker sometimes, flirting trying to get a reaction from her and Severin. She did her best to ignore him but, it was quite hard.
"Hello there," Severin purred, coming up from behind Claudia and giving her an awkward hug. He pulled away almost immediately. "How are you?" He glanced over his shoulder, hoping that Keith wasn't going to randomly show up.
She giggled at his awkawrdness. Claudia atleast knew he was trying. "I told Bladley some creep tripped me and faked a limp. Bought it easy. Why are you so tense?" She asked her forehead wrinkling.
I'm glad of that.," Severin said, mussing Claudia's hair. "How aobout we go outside? I'm just annoyed," Severin muttered, taking Claudia's hand and pulling her outside. "I had to come to school today."
Claudia stiffled a giggle. "Don't be such a pessimist."
"I'm not a pessimist," Severin said, smiling a bit. "I just have a poor outlook on the world."
"Uh huh." Claudia up and pet his hair, messing it up so some hair in the middle stuck in the air. That was when the giggle slipped out.
Severin pursed his lips, but could help frowning. "You hate my hair...?"
"No." She shrunk a bit, still smiling, and pointed to the part of his hair that reminded her of a cockatoo. "That's just plain silly, love." She squeeked.
"As are you," Severin replied smoothly, pulling his girlfriend into his arms he stopped when he saw Keith standing behind Claudia with an eyebrow raised. "Cockatoo boy's not raping you, is he?" He asked smirking.
((Finally done!!))
