Ever jumped back, startled. 'That was... random...' she thought. Her body was trembling again, "H... hi C...Charlie..." she replied shyly. She took a step back, hugging onto her Palkia, who was still laughing his head off. "Y...You won't... h...hurt us... w...will you?"

Reila was surprised by the newcomer's sudden appearence. Latios too was shocked, it seemed, and he turned invisble with a slight shriek of surprise. He did this whenever he was surprised or scared.
"Yeah...and I'm Reila, just in case my name was of any interest." she said, somewhat shyly, looking down at her feet as if pondering what to think next. "The one that just turned invisible is my shiny Latios, and this is my Garchomp, Garcha." Garcha cheerfully waved a claw, but Reila was a little shy throughout. It was then that she noticed a pair of wild Axew nearby. She thought about catching one...

Ever widened her eyes. "Wha? You... You read minds?!" she gasped. "Who... What? HUH?!" she took a step back, "How... how can you read minds!"
Ever was scared now, surrounded by so many people. Even if its only 2. She wanted to run, run as fast and far as she can. She didn't want to be by any human, humans had always tortured her, and done very bad things. She hugged tightly onto her baby Palkia, letting out scared peeps.

Reila looked over to Ever and noticed how anxious she looked. She then looked over to Charlie.
"It would be interesting to know how you read minds." she admitted, but before she could continue she heard a rustling sound in the bushes. The pair of wild Axew were startled and ran away, and Reila muttered something to herself about not being able to catch one. Latios had become visible again and had turned towards the new sound.
"Who are you? State your intent!" Latios called out, with a serious tone of voice. There came another rustling sound in the bushes...and a tall Meganium stepped out. Reila almost dropped to her knees in shock. After a moment of gaping, a grin spread onto Reila's face.
"Oh my gosh...it's Mama Meganium!" she cried, happily. She ran forward and hugged the grass-type. Latios turned to Charlie.
"You might not have heard, but Reila was raised by a family of Meganium, Bayleef and Chikorita." he explained. "This Meganium acted as a mother to Reila, hence her nickname...Mama Meganium."

Ever looked over at the Meganium, and shyly made her way towards Reila and Mama Meganium. Palkia stared at the pokemon, relaxed, smiling. Mama Meganium looked so calm and gentle, so caring.
She smiled, biting her bottom lip.

Mama Meganium looked over to Ever and gave a caring smile, two vines emerging from the flower around her neck and wrapping around Ever in a hug. This was a comforting gesture.
"I think Mama Meganium is starting to like you, Ever." Reila commented, then she turned to Mama Meganium. "Mama, is Sister and Amberleaf with you?" Mama Maganium shook her head.
"Megiaaaaaa." she hummed.
"Ah, I see." Reila mumbled, hugging Mama Meganium once again. Latios restrained himself from the hugs...until he got wrapped in a vine-hug himself and calmed down.

Ever hugged Mama Meganium back. Hugging pokemon was a lot easier than talking to humans, even if they do seem friendly. She turned her head and looked at Charlie. 'Suspicious character... I've heard of ninja's but I have never heard of them reading minds. It sounds supernatural to me.' she thought.
Palkia walked up to Charlie, looking her in the eye. The pearls no his shoulders glowed brightly, "That's it! I'm tired of talking! I want a battle! I want to challenge someone, I haven't battled yet and I wanno! I want to be as strong as my ancestor before he died and my rebirth!" he roared. He looked at Ever, "Will you back me up as my trainer until I have my full legend back?" he asked.
Ever blinked. She had never battled with Palkia before, just only her team. she thought that it was also unfair to use a legendary in battle, since they have so many advantages. But seeing that Reila also had a legendary, a Latios, maybe battling with Palkia wasn't that bad. "Okay, who do you want to challenge?" she smiled.

Latios broke free of one of Mama Meganium's vine-hugs and floated forward. The prospect of growing stronger greatly pleased him, but he didn't voice his desires. But his thoughts were given away by the fact that he kept flickering from being visible and invisible. Mama Meganium tossed her head and gave a determined cry.
"What? YOU want to battle too, Mama Meganium?" Reila asked, surprised. Latios too was shocked. Even Garcha the Garchomp seemed surprised. The only one who wasn't gaping at that point was Reila's mysterious Absol, who was still in his Pokeball.
It was then that Absol actually burst out of his Pokeball on his own, causing Garcha to become irritated.
"Garcha said there's something DIFFERENT about Absol." Latios whispered. But what could Garcha mean?!

Charlie rushed over to the Absol, showing the others her other side. (Charlie is an expert on looking after pokemon)

"Ever since I caught Absol here, Garcha's taken a real disliking to him...or her, I'm not actually sure." Reila explained. "Garcha keeps saying there's something different about Absol, but I can't for the life of me think what it is. He...or she...looks like a perfectly normal Absol to me!" Absol rolled its eyes and muttered something.
"Absol's a girl." Latios said.
"Ah. Sorry." Reila apologised to her Pokemon. But she noticed Absol looked slightly awkward all of a sudden... Garcha seemed to know what that meant, and realized at last what it was.
"Graaaaaa!" Garcha growled, and when Absol made no response, Garcha stepped forward and bit her tail. Absol roared out in pain and fired a Flamethrower attack right into the air. This startled Latios.
"I didn't think it was normal for an Absol to learn Flamethrower!" he cried. "Wait...does that mean?" Garcha nodded, urgently. Reila was confused.
"What?" she asked.
"ABSOL ISN'T AN ABSOL!" Latios exclaimed. "She's a...she's a..." Absol suddenly closed her eyes and glowed purple for a moment. When the glow had disappeared, Absol wasn't there any more...a Zorua stood in her place.
"Woah..." Reila gasped. "So Absol was a Zorua all along? Creepy..."

Ever stared at the Zorua. "It's... so.... CUTE!" she smiled, rushing over to the little pokemon. "It's so adorable! I wish I had a Zorua! It's so cute!" she gasped, petting the Zorua. Palkia huffed and rolled his eyes. "Ever," he growled. Ever stopped and looked up at him, "Oops... sorry."
Palkia then looked at Charlie, "You too, want to battle?" he grinned. "You know I'll win though, I am Palkia after all."

"Because I know so lady, don't question the dragon that's awesome-er than Dialga!" Palkia laughed and flew to Ever's side. "Please will you be my trainer for this battle?" he asked. Ever blushed and smiled, "Oh Palkia, I thought I already was your trainer?"
Palkia smiled and flew around Ever in circles. "Yay!" Ever giggled, she hasn't seen Palkia this happy in forever.
