Sarah walked through the castle, eyes flickering from side to side occasionally. She sucked in a deep breath and squeezed herself through a nearly invisible hole at the base of one wall. It was a secret pas sage Damien had built for her. It was built so she could spy on any part of the castle they needed.
Still limping, she trotted through the small dark pas sage way until she came to the end of the tunnel. Poking her head out, she was buffetted by a strong wind, which nearly knocked her over. But she stood her ground, and then wandered into the deep snow.

Jace nosed Damien's good leg, studying him over quietly. He looked upset, tired and freezing to the bone.
Damien glanced down at Jace, glad to see him. But instead of saying anything he leaned against the wall and gritted his teeth.
