Lexi nodded after both of Ian's questions. She took in a deep breath, and let it out slowly. She was used to crowds, but usually those crowds were looking up at her, admiring her beauty, or being envious of her place in society. However, Lexi had little interraction with the outside world when she was at the castle. Her parents kept her locked up, safe from something that she never could get them to tell her about.

Ian ignored Lexi's angst. He figured that was normal for her, being royalty and all. He stayed silent and he weaved through the crowd. It was getting dark, about dusk. Most people weren't out so it was easy to avoid the big crowds. He tried not to go too fast, as he didn't want to leave Lexi behind. But, it wasn't long until they reached the bank. "Ian." He told the teller. "You know me... I need all of my money out of the account."
"But, Ian... That's a lot of money," The teller said, his voice shaking.
"Ryan, I don't care. Just give me my money." Ian's voice was becoming a growl. He didn't like being back-talked to. Especially by nerds. ((I've been meaning to ask, is this like. Old times, or more modern?))

((Mixture between Modern and Old times. They have technologically advanced cities, but there are also gypsy villages and travelling traders, too.)) Lexi followed behind Ian, not struggling to keep up. If she wanted to, she could easily pass the boy up, but she restrained herself. She followed him into the bank and watched as the teller stated the obvious. When Ian's voice tapered into a growl, Lexi put her hand on his shoulder. "Calm down. He's just talking, Ian," Lexi said in a voice like silk. That was how she would get others to calm down, and that was how she was trying to get Ian to calm down.

Ian sighed as Lexi told him to calm down. Nobody ever did that anymore. "Lexi," He said through his teeth. He could not finish. This banker had screwed him over so much, a little... encouragement was needed. And by that, Ian had to use a few threats here and there. Show the teller what could happen if he crossed him all wrong.
"Just give me the money," He finally said with a sigh. This girl was going to make him soft, he feared. "Ryan. I don't want to fight about it."
Ryan nodded and ran into the back, he came out with several bonds of money. There were only a few bonds, but they amounted to a lot of money total.
"Thank you Ryan." Ian said angrily as he signed a little slip of paper. "Hope I never see you again." And with this, Ian walked out of the back, storing his money securely in his bag.

Lexi sighed and shook her head. After Ian left, Lexi slid a few coins out of her pocket, and put them on the counter where Ryan was. Her hood covered her face, and she said, "Sorry for the trouble." After that, she left, and caught up with Ian. She stopped beside him and said, "Why are you so..." She stopped in fear that Ian might hit her. She had seen how he was controlling his anger earlier, so she shut her mouth. After all, he was older than she was. But if Ian hit her, Lexi could defend herself. She would beat the hell out of him.

"Why am I so what?" Ian said, perfectly normal. It was as if that encounter with the teller didn't happen. He looked both ways on the street before jogging across it. "What kept you?" He asked as well, not even looking at her. His mind was kept on thinking what he had left to do.
-Food... Big water supply... probably a tent or something like that, and a few blankets....- He mumbled to himself, making a mental note of everything he had to buy, or scavenge his house for.

"Nothing," Lexi said. "I got distracted and didn't notice when you left," she lied. She clenched the sleeves of her cloak and sighed. "Why were you so mean to that teller boy?" She, being a princess, was taught to be nice to everyone, although it was hard in some cases. At the least, Lexi considered people an acquaintance.
