Slinking back into the camp, Raze flicked his ears towards the others wolves who surrounded something. Sniffing the air, the beta quickly caught onto the scent of freshly killed deer and his stomach rumbled. He knew he could easily push his way to the front and claim some because of his rank, but he decided against it, willing to the let pups and lower ranking eat first today. Something was troubling him, and it came in the form of a emaciated loner wolf with wild eyes and a mind as muddled as a badgers. He looked down at his paws, knowing full well that Jett would have his pelt if he figured out what he'd done, no matter how easy going to alpha was. He could easily remember what happened. 

Padding through the shadows where he felt most comfortable, the large wolf followed the scent of his quarry, a loner. The scent was strong and pungent with illness and a undertone of something he did not understand. Pelt bristling, Raze quickly came upon the loner who's back was facing him, bones protruding as if they were about to rip out of his thin skin. He was mumbling something, voice high and scratchy as if in a panic. "I know your there Wolfy." Raze snarled at the insolent tone, padding from the shadows with his head high and fangs bared. "If you come to kill me then do it, I will gladly bare my throat." Raze blinked in confusion, not understanding why this loner was so willing to die. It became quite clear when the smaller gray wolf stood up on shaky legs and turned to face him. 

Scars, as red as if freshly created, criss-crossed across his thin face which was broke out in grin. The loners teeth were white and abnormally long and sharp, completely at odds with his weathered, marred face and gave him a maniacal look. But what worried Raze the most was his eyes. They were golden at the center with flecks of green. But anywhere there was supposed to be white in a normal wolves eye was blood red, and his iris's were slitted like the few mountain cats he had seen. Something about the whole picture together along with the fact that he was so skinny gave him a insane look. "You fear me Wolfy?" The loner laughed eerily, sending Raze's fur again bristling. It was after a few more moments of speaking with this loner to find out his name was Alcarié and he had no idea where he was. The few words that he spoke were muddled and odd to the ear, making Raze wonder about him. But then again Alcarié was smart about the world, having traveled and seen a lot of it and the hardship it brought. Raze wondered if he would be a *censored*et to keep around, for information. He'd ask Jett about it later, after he found some place to keep the loner hidden for a few days. Asking him to follow, the two wolves slunk through the trees until he found a abandoned den and got the insane wolf settled. Fetching a small rabbit, Raze warned the loner to stay put and he'd feed him until he found out how to tell Jett without getting in to much trouble. 

Blinking open his eyes and pulling himself from the memory, Raze inwardly groaned, knowing he let a loner, and a mentally unstable one at that, into their territory to stay. Pacing back and forth, he finally sat down outside a den and began to groom his thick fur, mind wondering while doing so.  

Jett lifted up his bloody muzzle from the deer. He licked the fresh blood from his chomps and backed away from the prey so that the lower ranking wolves could have a chance to eat. 'None of the other higher-ups came to eat,' he thought. 'I wonder where they must be?' Jett padded around the camp, his ears flicking in many directions, and his nose to the ground and air. After a few minutes he was able to pick up the scent of Raze. 'Well at least I was abe to find one of them.' he thought. As Jett approached Raze he could smell something odd, something that wasn't from his pack. Then it struck him, Raze had been with another wolf! 'Grr, I hope he didn't do anything stupid!' the brute thought. Once he was withing two feet of Raze, the alpha greeted him. "Hello, Raze," The male said without trying to give any hints that he was irritated. "Where'd you run off to?"

Raze flattened his ears to his skull, lip curling back just slightly so the tip of a fang was visible to show that he was not about to be shoved around like a pup. But he did keep seated and kept his eyes downcast, showing that he meant no disrespect to Jett's higher rank. "Must I tell you everywhere I go like some she-wolf to her mate?" He growled, hackles raising slightly. He wanted to tell the alpha about the crazed loner, but something said that at the moment  with Jett huffing around as if stung by a bee they'd only end up butting heads more. "As long as it's not threatening the pack then what I do is none of your concern." He spat, daring to look up at Jett's face. He was not sure what would happen if the two of them decided to fight, sure he was large in the standers of wolves, but Jett was just as big and with a bit more of a offensive power then he had. But he would fight and die to do what he thought was right and fair. But he'd talk it out first, or at least hoped he got the chance to.

Akila got up. She went to find Jett. She finally found him and sighed. She padded up to them. "What's going on here?"She asked. She liked being alphess, she was in charge with Jett. She looked up, remembering her father. She looked down and played with the gras.s a little.

Jett was not surprised by the beta's response, Raze had always been short tempered. Even though Raze was showing disrespect to the brute, Jett still couldn't bring himself to get in a fight with him, no, not now. The pack didn't need any tension. "It better stay un-threatening to the pack!" Jett growled. "I will not have any of my pack mates being hurt!" he sighed, then continued. "I hope you know what you're doing, Raze." The brute turned and left it at that.

After the alpha left the deer, Cloud dug in for his share of meat. 'This tastes really good!' he thought. He took a few more bites then left the deer for the other members of the pack. 'I wonder if I can find Electra, she's gotta try some of this deer!' the brute happily thought. He padded off to look for Electra with a gooy smile on his face.

Akila sighed again. She sat down, overlooking the pack. "It'll be okay. I trust Raze."She said. She looked down, not sure about what she said was true.

Thunder raced through teh forest on the heels of a young deer. He had been chasing it for some time, and was losing speed. In disgust at himself, he gave up, turning back to the forest. He spotted a strange wolf in the distance, and from teh scent, he was from the pack that Thunder knew lived in this area, though her preffered not to socalize with them. Maybe having a pack isn't really so bad. You hunt together, fight together, eat and sleep with everyone. It sure would be a lot easier to hunt with some other wolves. He licked his ears, thinking about his family, his mother, his sister and brother, all killed by the ranger. He was lonely. He folded his wings, and crept silently closer to teh wolf he had seen before.

Jett sighed. "I guess I am over reacting." he looked at Raze then back to his mate. "I won't send the hunters to follow him. I hope what he's doing is right for the pack." The alpha didn't want to talk about it anymore, instead, he dicided to change the subject. "Have you eaten anything today? If you haven't you should try the deer, it's realy good!" the brute smiled.

Cloud gave up looking for Electra, mainly because his mind took him elsewhere. This elsewhere was back in the forest. 'I wonder if I can go catch some fish down by the river?' he questioned himself. The brute took off through the woods, if there was one thing he liked more than fish, it would be running. That is one of the reasons why he is a hunter. Before he knew it, he had reached the edge of the river. 'Now...where's my fishing rock?' he wondered. He looked down river then up river, and he spotted it! Coud padded along the edge of the river to get to his favorite fishing rock. Once he stepped onto the rock he could hear the cicking of his claws as he walked along it. The rock was warm, do to the sun, yet it was comfortable. Cloud went to the edge of his rock and peered into the water. After a few minutes he could see shining fish underneath the crystal water. like a flash of lightning, his paw hit the water and he scooped the trout from the river. The trout flopped around gasping for air, before it could suffer, Cloud bit his head off. The brute was satisfied, eating his favorite food, sitting on his favorite rock, and before he knew it, his favorite season would be upon the pack lands, Fall.
