Bending ability: Earthbending. She is extremely skilled.
Toph is blind so she can feel the vibrations in the earth, which is why she is also able to Metalbend- since she can detect the refined earth inside the metals. She is the one who invented Metalbending.
Persona: You should probably all know this, and really I don't feel like trying to capture her personality in a few words. P:
History: She was the only child of the Bei Fong family, a very rich family in an Earth Kingdom town. Because of her blindness her parents thought that she was weak and fragile and wanted to keep her safe, so they kept her a secret from the world. They had no idea about her skill in Earthbending.
The Gaang saw her fighting in Earth Rumble Six and asked her to be Aang's Earthbending teacher because of the way she used her Earthbending- by waiting and listening, and feeling the vibrations in the ground. She refused, but there was a misunderstanding and two Earthbenders from Earth Rumble Six ambushed and kidnapped Aang and Toph. Toph fought them, revealing her prowess in the Earthbending discipline. After that she ran away to help the Gaang fight in the war.
